you can try naajb kernel
i doubt it'll work though.
If you're looking for stable jb, i recommend davee's jb mini project

You can try nAa's 2.6.32 kernel. Amazing find!
X8 can flash Cm10.1 ?
U can if u try first..... hehe
It doesn't work. Must be the init.rc. But I can tell you this. It was built by Daveee10 and stelios97. Probably that build they were talking about, which is far from beta. So don't expect any release any time soon.
Yes it does not work on NAa Kernel I hope it will not be abandoned....
New 13 May 2013 - 'cm-10.1.0-RC2-shakira.zip' the project has advanced

Now the Rom has been marked as stable, has anyone flashed it on his X8? What kernel should we use?
wait for the actual devs to release it, and lets just wait for it to be announced if you dont want any problems

If I'm not wrong Daveee10 and stelios97 were working on this. Despite the ROM being marked stable, there may be stability issues. So wait for an official XDA release, which is guaranteed to have the least possible number of bugs.

WOW! Sounds promising! Can't wait
This build is pre-alpha. There's so many problems as it is on the Droid X, I highly doubt anything would come from porting this.
I would wait until its gone final to start a port. As everyone does.

Hi Guys,
First of all I am not a real DEV. I see things, read things and learn from it. That's all.
I have patched Palao's kernel for my use on ICS ROM. Some guys can use it so thought to share with you.
I have not created this Kernel from scratch so haven't changed it's name. Giving full respect to it's DEV.
Change LOG:
Binod_Kernel_Paol_Sys_V1.zip
HTML:
Fixed WI-FI
Fixed Random Reboot
Few scripts for ROM stability
Downlaod: http://www.mediafire.com/?5p4790z44l36qg2
Report if you guys find some bugs. I'll try to resolve it.

Right.
Stability fixes?
Right.
Franco is always better.
Greets!
You cant actually call this ICS Kernel...
The one which lupohirp will release with his next ICS Beta will be considered as an ICS Kernel due to backporting of many drivers to make ICS more stable...

The backport of Kgsl driver will be hard. I don't think that we just clone the free xperia kernel source then get the patch and patch our kernel source... we still need to modify, beside , the power manager is broken...
Guys you are going high. I haven't said that this is my kernel. I even haven't changed it's name. So just stop pissing someone. I patched it for my use. It's working great for me.For the ICS name, It's for ICS ROM that's why ICS kernel.
If you want go ahead and download if not then don't. keep everything very simple.

Sorry, but XDA rules say you have to ask permission if you use other's work. You can't just upload some ROM and then ask someone else to test it. If you're afraid to brick your device - this is no place for you.

Thanks, TheWhisp. I only wanted to help comunity.
I think you are very rude and only want fame. Everything for you.
Actually, no. I just don't see any point of someone re-building and re-uploading the same ROM. It's easy to download already working sources and then just build a ROM and "be a dev". No offence, but I've said it already and I will say it again - everyone is free to contribute with their ideas, fixes and whatever you can contribute with. How did you think you helped the community? By uploading the same build as I? I just don't get, I mean, people like you and those Ace Plus guys who did the same thing. If you want to help the community, the bug list is available for everyone... Dig in. Building a ROM from source is easy. Setting up a working device config and fixing bugs is the development process.
EDIT: I didn't mean that you have to stop what you were doing, there are a lot of other ROMs you can build, like, for example, AOKP. (if you're capable of setting up the source)

no, it will probably not work with the same libs. Libs are not the only thing that is needed for camera, if we use GB libs we need binder, heapbase compatibility and camera parameters etc. built into framework

yeah, you need to port it again but this time using new CM build. Anyway: is there a sense to port ICS (cm9) based roms if there is no stable build for cooperve? Personally i think we should wait for RC version like CM7.2 by biel.

A difference between porting and building, and if he did build it, it will never have hw and will be slow (due to the lack of GPU drivers)
Why so much hurry in making cm9 based roms..Let atleast stable version come..

This thing you said is absurd. Porting will create more bugs. And a port takes libs from base rom, so porting and building makes no difference at this point, but porting might create bugs as it was built for another device.
