[ROM] Prime v2 (android 2.2.1, stability-oriented)

Well, here's one more ROM for you guys: Prime. (Optimus Prime, hell yea!)
It will be the twin brother of my other ROM, Megatron. However, whereas Prime will be focused on stability, Megatron will go for raw power and performance instead.
That being said, this is a ROM based on the 2.2.1 firmware where bugs like the sdcard unmount were supposedly fixed. It has been cleaned of most of the crap and has also been tweaked with the usual h4x. I daresay it's the most stable ROM for LG P500 so far. If you want a speedy one, check out Megatron.

applications removed: Twitter, Facebook, LG Home, Think Office, Netlog, Twitter, Music and Video player and some other craps [4]
applications added: Doubletwist (to play music and video), File Manager (imported from CM), Message Flasher (blink the physical buttons when you have sms unread) and the awesome LauncherPro
added tri tone notification sound and marimba ringtone (imported from iPhone)
changed boot animation to a more cute one
fixed buggy WiFi
fixed lag
Requirements:
In order to flash this ROM, you'll need on your device:
Having read the feature list above
Root (check thread)
Drellisdee's custom recovery (check thread)
Class 4 SDcard or higher (bench it with h2testw)
Prime (download it here)
How to flash:
First, reboot into recovery via 3-button-combo, ADB, terminal, w/e.
Partition SDcard (swap: 0, ext: 512)
Wipe data (data,cache,dalvik-cache,ext).
Connect the device to PC, copy Prime over to the SDcard, disconnect.
Flash it via "flash zip from sdcard"
Reboot

* If you have problems running any h264 video or game, it is probably due to stagefright. To correct this, grab the application root explorer somewhere. Run it and give it superuser permissions. Go to /system/build.prop. Click r/w button. Long click on build.prop and select "open with text editor". Look for some line that talks about stagefright-player. Switch to false. Save and exit (menu button). Reboot.
* Do not flash the custom kernel or any other tweak.
* Miss CarHome? Download it here. Miss Thinkfree Office? Download it here.
* Can't partition your sdcard? Flash anyway and download this app: http://www.appbrain.com/app/a2sd-froyo-root/net.meliantq.a2sdFroyo (credits: zeule)

Since V10e can't be rooted for now, you'd have to downgrade to v10b using KDZ Updater. v10b (Philippine version) -> http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP500/ATCIBK/V10b_00/V10B_00.kdz. After downgrading, root with your preferred rooting app. Then install Drellisdee's custom recovery and then just follow Noejn's "How to Flash".

I was thorn between Megatron and Amberhome, but really, how cool is being OPTIMUS PRIME?, works flawlessly so far, .

Can someone please provide system.img data.img and boot.img for this rom ?

Well, apps2sd is one of the major features. Most likely you're the only soul who wants a version without it. However, when I find the time, I'll make a version a2sd free for you. If you don't feel like waiting, just google on how to remove the symlink.

U can use FontChanger to change the font u want.
I like roboto

so far, the smoothest ROM i've ever used. Great launcher, very fast and "silky smooth" (Zohan accent). CM7 fonts work properly so far for me
Phone is OC'd to 822 with OnDemand governor and no crash, no hang, no lag
I left the phone overnight charging, and today i saw that it went to Deep Sleep for only 46 minutes. is this because of the charging?
All CM7 based ROMs don't allow me to set my own Ringtone from my SD collection...in Stock ROM i could press longer on any track and "Set it as Ringtone" and "Set as contact Ringtone". But since CM 7.2 this feature is disabled :/
And also, Titanium Backup cannot restore application DATA. Is this because some data were generated using ICS CM9 and other using official CM7.2?
And finally, if i try to download some of the cool 360 widgets, the download stops after downloading 20%. "Connection was lost" No offence, but i think its the Chinese to blame for that!

I have this downloaded, but it said in Lidroids flash instructions that it will wipe internal memory. I sure will flash this at one point, what Lidroid does is amazing. But all who dont know Lidroid should also know that usually he removes all locales and only has Chinese and english, but im sure its worth it. Lidroid rocks

Groovy, I like the lidroid roms. Since it doesnt say one way or the other in the OP is all bloat still in the rom? I prefer to use TI to rid myself of some and freeze others on a case by case basis.

I couldn't get this to boot using Lidroid's version of ODIN. It booted fine using the ODIN version Chainfire provides. Some early feedback:
- As stated previously - full wipe flash (including your internal SD card)
- There are loads of languages/locales available
- Some of the notifications etc are in Chinese (e.g. USB connection)
- The stock keyboard has been replaced by some other version
- The ROM is nice and fast
- The Lidroid Toolbox app gives some nice options (prevent autostart at boot and on connection etc)
- The quickpanel settings are as we've seen previously (customise/hide etc)
- Overall very nice

it was already made by some repencis labs . i fixed the resolution and plenty of bugs. thats it.
nope no themes. the rom is faster compared to its counterparts.

Nice work. But an old kernel how much space and ram did it use? And if u want to tell it, which prog did u use to make it. Keep up the good work. Will test it asap

dude i am taking screenshots of my phone right now . its made from xxla4 gingerbread and morphed to look like ics without an external launcher app.

Oh sry, was confused of the date under the kernel. I use root uninstaller with some personal tweeks, like an empty host file or just one notification sound and font.

i guess 5 screenshots are enough ???? note the time its 12:11 shown on the lock screen when i was uploading it . thats enough proof i guess

ahh blue and black reminds me of creeds 3.5 rom . the only issue after i fixed it is that you cant get internet settings automatically . if someone was to help but they often neglect newbies. i told many senior guys about creed 3.5 rom tho. this rom is much more stable than creed 3.5 and i felt. also creed 3.5 is based on xxla2 and xxla4 is classier , i feel

Are you kidding me?!! Of course XDA allows modifying roms! That's a really weird question..
Anyway isn't this one of those chinese roms that are based on MIUI? If it is then it shouldn't be impossible to use that tool that's out there for MIUI to add languages?
Also it's using TW as base, not AOSP, right?

Had HTC m8 and was told off by admins because I used ryio9u miui Rom and modified it.
Even tho I gave credits etc.
A user reported saying I didn't get permission. And thread was closed.
Even tho I done same thing here on s5 plus if you search xda, miui by ryio9u has been modified for alot of devices by numerous users. Didn't understand what I did wrong. But hey ho

Installed the rom on my g900f. It boots to the white iuni bootscreen, but the phone restarts and goes to a bootloop. Tried to reinstall, but still not working. Any solutions?

If you on the g900f then no kernel needs to be flashed. Recovery issue sorted
If on other variants of s5 then the flash will fail.
Do not try it

I got the same problem. I used to have 5.0 too, but i did a clean wipe. Do i have to do something else too? The rom is still not booting.
