Can't install fastboot Drivers [Solved] - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hello I'm not able to install fastboot drivers from my xperia T on my pc. I have the setup file in the right map under sdk, extras, google, usb_drivers. When I try fastboot with my phone, the device pops up as unknown devce. When I try to install those drivers windows says there not supported for this device.
Windows 8 64bit
Xperia T Stock (only root acces)
help pleas. If needed I also can enable TeamViewer;

Goto the driver folder of flashtool and run drivers.exe
choose drivers for
TX, fastboot and flashmode

I'm trying to install the flashtool, though during installation, my Pc crashes... Need to solve that first :/

Yes.

ok, that's a known issue. It may be worth while installing ububtu on a separate partition on your machine.
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows
That's what I have done

Good that I already have a spare partition of 50gb for moments like these

Can't you install unsigned drivers by rebooting Windows and disabling driver signature enforcement?
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app

Haven't try that... But I've done it now via Ubuntu, bootloader successfully unlocked, and doomkernel succefully installed but I'll try it later on today, in case some other people have the same problem.

Solution
Here,
I found a way to install the fastboot drivers on windows 8.
Here is a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2170114 It worked for me (;

That is indeed what I meant, seems a bit easier to me than installing another OS

Yes it is, I suppose I should have linked that first, its just I a really getting into trying all this using Ubuntu as works a lot more seamlessly than on windows.

[FIXED] Is this hard-bricking?

Well, i've unlocked the bootloader (s1tool sayed it was "SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE" , and then r8a029) xperia x8
Then i flashed from flashtool (the 64bit version) the nAa ics kernel.
However when i turn on the phone it vibrates , the lights and leds are on, but nothin else. Then it shut down. So i can't access recovery or flashing something else with flashtool because it says that drivers are not installed.
I think it's not hard-bricked because it has some reactions.
Any idea?
It's not hard bricked. Hard brick is when there is absolutely no response from the phone.
Repair using pcc and try again.
And yes, your bl is unlocked. Grats

How did you find out that flashtool was flashing kernel. I have kept log level to debug, still I don't see any statement indicating tool is trying to flash kernel. In fact I tried to flash just loader and even that failed with same error.
Your reply will help me narrow down the possible causes. Thanks in advance!!

Try installing GordonGate driver pack. Seems you have problem with usb driver.

Disable your antivirus and download x8toolbox again, in that particular order. Only then run the program.
You can enable your antivirus back when the whole process is finished.

i need firewares for xperia z c6602

hi
i need FTF firmwares for my xperia z c6602
now iam on 253 i want to downgread to root it
help
This is most of the xperia firmwares
You dont have to unlock your bootloader to flash these
Choose 434
http://www.qosmodro.me/2013/01/xperia-2011-official-stock-firmware.html?m=1
But why exactly you want to downgrade?
Hit thanks if this helped you

Just use this to root -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472
No need to downgrade any more.
I'm not sure why the previous poster didn't just link you to that method as they are well aware that it exists.
Just as an aside, people begging for thanks when posting a reply to somebody's question should have their thanks meter disabled IMHO

Make sure the PC companion or Sony Update tool is not running.
If it still doesn't work, then make sure all drivers for your phone are installed correctly.

Are you sure PC Companion or SUS isn't active in the system tray? It cannot be active in any way, background or not.
If not, do you have anything else running that is used to manage your phone? Nothing else that uses ADB can be active on your PC when you're trying to run the tool including flashtool etc.
Try reinstalling drivers etc, use a different USB port/cable or even a different PC.
If nothing works, then I don't know what else to suggest. The tool works just fine for everyone else.

There's a chance he might've wiped off the recovery partition if he used a disk.
To OP, borrow a friend's PC and burn the ISO onto a disk/bootable USB drive. There's no other way of doing it.
