[ROM][GRK39F]Stock+Radio+Boot+Rooted+Deodexed+Zipalign.

This is a completely Stock Rom based on latest OTA 2.3.6 GRK39F.
It's for Nexus S (i9023) and (i9020), i have put new radio image inside only for (i9023XXKF1).
Just flash this Rom and you have all google update inside your phone.
Need Clockwork Recovery or just another mod-recovery. (The.Zip is Signed).
This rom includes:
1)Radio image only version for (i9023XXKF1).
2)Stock Boot.img.
2)Root.
3)Busybox.
4)Deodexed.
5)Zipalign.
6)Add Task Killer Tweak for more speed.

For GPS fix follow this tutorial:
Just open a file-manager like Root-Explorer go on /sdcard and overwrite this files in this folder.
Europe gps configuration download http://www.multiupload.com/OBVUPIL2AD only europe users.
North-america gps configuration download http://www.multiupload.com/5T7HHAA3J0 only U.S.A users.
gps.conf in system/etc then overwrite. (set permission in Read / Execute)
If u haven't root explore u can do that by ADB:
Put gps.conf files in yours adb folder then type on your pc-terminal:

adb remount
chmod 755 gps.conf
adb push gps.conf /system/etc
reboot
Now GPS is superfix.

No u can't because it's Rooted

as far as i know, we can still upgrade a rooted phone via OTA (i just did). one thing it checks is system/app though. i'm a minimalism, i dont wanna reinstall all my app and settings when A new OTA comes.
so i guess i can only flash kernel but not custom roms, am i correct?
P.S. May i ask one more question? What's the fastest/easiest way to restore everything? all app and all settings. Titanium only restore all app, isn't it?

Hello, I just downloaded the rom, everything works fine except for Gmail. Every time I try to use it gives me error and I have to finish.
Have you already encountered this problem?

This is my first ROM - compiled on AOKP source !
... after several settings and adjustments ( for few days ) - now I managed to successfully boot the first porting rom based only on AOKP - ICS 4.0.4 source !
...for now ...please don't ask me now what work and what not ! ....I'll release for you ( for testing ) my first build in few days ! , I will also make available a GitHub for download device tree for your device ! - that's not soon because I plan to go on vacation , so I'll do starting in September !!!

> adb push archos.ext4 /mnt/storage ( need to wait about ~150 seconds ) !
> at the same time do : adb reboot & press and keep volume down ; in SDE -> DEM-> Remove Android Kernel ( if exist ) -> Flash Kernel & Initramfs -> copy here zImage & initramfs.cpio.gz -> OK -> wait to reboot !
( this instructions should be work well for both devices : flash & hdd !!! )
If you are in boot loop - just reset the device - will be ok after reset !

I have updated my GitHub with AOKP tree for Archos Gen9 !
- I made ​​an automatic build, so only you need : connect USB cable on PC and run my script !!!! if your environment ( linux machine ! ) is set properly...you'll get your system AOKP build in about 1 hour ! ( depends on your system configuration ! )
For use my GitHub you need to have installed on your device Deodexed Rom ! , also you need to have FileManager.apk in system/app/ !!!
GitHub - aokp tree for archos gen9 ! => GitHub !
- for build all your source AOKP - for your device , you need to do just 3 steps :
- 1° > chmod a+x archos.sh
- 2° > . archos.sh
- 3° > in the last step you need to choose : your device corresponding number from the list that appears below and press Enter ! ( eg. 38. aokp_archos_gen9-userdebug ) , so input 38 & Enter !
Your build will be ready : in about 1 hour - but is highly dependent on machine performance !!!

the 3g works?

...building AOKP from source , app Settings.apk have some issue ! ( when select Settings->Storage ->"Unfortunately , Settings has stopped." ).
I'm trying also to decompile Settings.apk but I get some issue ...
All apps and also framework-res.apk - cant be decompiled without issue ...so, seem to be some build error in seetings !
...that's why did not found if sdcard work or not ! ...also some settings in Settings menu are not enable !
Now try to redownload the source , recompile and I'll upload soon the archos.ext4 - even if I fail to solve Settings issue !
( Not work - sdcard, 3G , hdmi ? - not cheched yet & some custom AOKP settings in Settings menu , also occurs rarely this error : android.process.media has stopped! )

Dear GT-I9100G community
This is a safe way To switch between Chinese I9100G & international I9100G
NOTE:THIS Method work for u if u want to install Stock Roms ... So if u want AOSP / AKOP / ROOTBOX .. ROMS u Don't Need this !!
Warning :This TUTORIAL Is FOR I9100G. WILL NOT WORK ON OTHER DEVICES. I DON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU MESS UP AND BRICK YOUR DEVICE OR ANYTHING ELSE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
INSTRUCTIONS
First Do a Full Wipe From Recovery (Cache .. Data ..etc)
- Then Remove the battery and connect your i9100g with a USB cable !
- Manual Load Driver for OMAP4430 From usb_drv_windows folder (included in download content )
- if the device keep reconnecting automatically... then it's okey it's not a problem !
- If everything is okey then run omap4430hs_espresso_Inter i9100g.bat
- if it's done should take like 7s ... remove your i9100g from usb cable... boot into Download Mod You should be able to read ur Product Name... if it's I9100G_CHN_CHN then u didn't do like i say if u found Product name I9100G then Congratulation
- So If Product Name is i9100g Flash Any Stock ROM u want not Chinese Stock ROMS.
- when u finish flashing a stock rom make a full wipe again ( data ; cache ).
- Reboot​ -DONE
- If u got Inter I9100g or u want back your Chinese Stock ROMS Do the same but run this omap4430hs_espresso_Chines i9100g.bat​

Thank you for your discovery. I have a Chinese I9100G myself, but I have no need for this at the moment as there are advantages to having a Chinese bootloader IMO. I will keep this for future reference though.

Chinese ROM don't have google play store ... anyway if u want chinese Roms u can have it also if u want International I9100g u can have it ...

The key here seems to be that OMAPFlash will bypass the restriction of not allowing a different bootloader to be flashed onto the device.
What's different about the 2 zips in the OP is that they feature different sbl.bin (Secondary bootloader) files from Chinese versions and international versions respectively, which can be successfully flashed with this tool and therefore, transform your device from Chinese to Intl. or vice versa.

Yes. But it's not worth it. They haven't custom roms like cm, rootbox etc

3.There are 2 files are names RXSEE V1.6 and ((part 2))by gamzekal.zip
4.Copy 2 files from your PC using USB cable and put it on sdcard (don't put any folder)
5.Disconnect your USB from your phone
6.Switch off your phone
7.Go to recovery (ClockWorkMod not Samsung Recovery) by pressing Vol Up , Home Button , Power On . Press for 5 second
8.Go to Backup and restore on menu
9.Go to restore , search "RXSEE V1.6"
10.After restore , go to install from sd card and choose from sd card . Search "((part 2))by gamzekal.zip
11.Lastly , after install , Reboot system now !
12.Enjoy your new ROM.

6.Switch off your phone
7.Go to recovery (ClockWorkMod not Samsung Recovery) by pressing Vol Up , Home Button , Power On . Press for 5 second
8.Go to Backup and restore on menu
9.Go to restore , search "RXSEE V1.6"
10.After restore , go to install from sd card and choose from sd card . Search "((part 2))by gamzekal.zip
11.Lastly , after install , Reboot system now !
12.Enjoy your new ROM.

to get that 2 round corners.............
1. goto prefrences > homescreen settings
2. desktop configurations......
3. choose dockbar + 2 corners........

- To rearrange Nav buttons goto
Settings -- > Additional Settings --> Buttons --> Custom key position
- On home screen remove "Phone icon"
Go to app list Drag the "Phone icon" and place it in the app tray.

Its single for now.

Have you fixed the issue with speaker ? Last time I played a song using music player there was no sound at all . Infact the whole system sound mechanism was broken .

When I flash nano gapps then mobile is not booting up
So which gapps package its support

Eventually im currently using same rom to add dual sim support , i listen music daily . Works without any issue. :fingers-crossed:

- Flash pico GApps , it will work properly ! (Tested)
- The issue of COC :-
- The issue you mentioned is of Clash Of Clan.apk and not of the ROM .
Solution :- Just press back button once on home screen. You shall be asked "Exit the game ?" , Press "Cancel" button , your Navbar will get hidden . :good:

I think android one focuses more on power saving than power cost . I'll stick to whatever you provide in stock . Hope you'll provide something interesting .
And one more thing . How about translations ? some apps like themes miui app store are chienese translated by default . Any light on that ?

Hello,
I am sorry to inform, that i couldn't fix the language issue in this ROM .
Reason :-
The app is using Web-view from Xiaomi servers , which is impossible to convert in English .
Suggestions :-

- Have you tried to do so ?

add original miui 7 system ui in next build

Why don't you try porting MIUI 8 or try modding Flyme OS 5 by Ariewahyu. It has dual SIM support, runs on Lollipop and everything is fine. No major bugs (some GPS issues)
One more thing @vikrantgmail, how to remove that floating back button.

Please fix the sound issue in speaker . It's practically doesn't work at all in anyway .

The systemui used is the one comes with the default miui rom by @ariewahyu

there is no audio issue [SPROUT 4] . Tested and confirmed .
