For about the 3rd time in 3 weeks LTE is out again. Of course each time when it goes I am assuming it is my phone and I do a complete wipe only to find out it is the service. I am about ready to go back to my droid x! Nationwide outage again according to VZ.
not just lte this time, 3g is out too. someone must've spilled coffee on the main server or something.
Yep no 3g or 4g in Toledo ohio
Out in Chicago also.
No 4g here in Olympia WA

Apparently this affects all phones differently. The samsung charge right next to me has rock solid 4g while I am getting 3g for about 5 out of every 10 mins on my bionic.

Seems like VZ should give some kind of refund for every day the service is down. This is beginning to get a bit absurd. I have unlimited data for $19.95 and it still ticks me off.
No Joy in NY.

This must be why i lost 3g about 230 this morning and it has popped up working again around 8 but is rather jumpy...

Call them and ask. But be warned. If you pay $19.98 and you were down for a day, the refund is $0.66.
Yeah, I lost it early this AM in Los Angeles as well. I'm not pissed because I'm happy it wasn't my phone.....
No problems down here in southeast texas. 3g/4g works no problems...
4g/3g in Philly, when my phone gets around to it

In case you're wondering why 4G isn't working for you. Verizon has yet another outage on there hands.

Yeah I was wondering what was going on and that's what I figured ha. Don't know if you experienced this but my text messaging went out for like half a day last week I thought it was funny that they put it on their automated system that they were having problems
Yep it's out in Hawaii. Only 3G, 1X and Wifi for me!
I had absolutely no data from Verizon for about 4 hours this morning in Ohio. I found out about the outage when I called to complain.

Can anyone tell me how to reimplement ##debug back into the custom sense roms that we have? I really need it because I have found a PRL that makes me connect to my airrave immediately. I've always had issues connecting to the airrave but a technician at the airrave department sent me a couple year old PRL that works instantly. So if I turn on mobile data when I'm not home then my PRL will update and I will lose my connection at home. Thanks

Good morning ladies and gentleman,
After root, I noticed that sometimes my service goes out. It usually happens when I restart my device. I know it's not just the service because I live in a big city where 4G/LTE is striving.
Any one have this problem or is it just my phone? Any potential fix?

My guess is that it was always doing it as I live in Center City Piladelphia & it constantly switches as I move between towers or start/stop the mobile connection. I'll have my Note 3 today & i'll check that before & after I root it.
I think that's pretty normal. On reboot my phone takes about 30 to 60 seconds to get signal. I do live in the sticks though.

That might be the problem. Big city and towers overloaded. I am in Houston and coverage is good with at&t's hspa and LTE but the towers are overloaded during peak work hours. Around thanksgiving and the whole month of December speeds are crazy fast on both networks.

I've noticed a weaker signal and slower speeds since rooting. I am 5 mins from downtown Louisville Ky

Hi guys, for the past week and a half my phone is losing data connection. In places I consistently get LTE the signal drops to H+ and I have no data connection, then after a few mins I get LTE back. This happens sporadically.
I've rebooted the phone, removed and reinstalled the SIM and contacted my carrier (ROGERS) they rebooted the system from their end but the problem persists.
Anybody else experiencing this issue and if so did you solve it?

My wife's Moto X would consistently drop cellular data connections but calls and WiFi were fine. Motorola had to replace the phone.

So it's a hardware issue? Funny this never happened before, granted I did drop my phone and cracked the screen about 3 weeks. I wonder if that has contributed to the issue?!

This has been happening to me as well on daily basis, multiple times. Im to the point of returning the device to best buy and purchase the Dev edition. I'm using an att locked device on ST. Some say its due to att APN.

Did this just start happening to you, around a week and a half ago?

So I picked up a new (used motox) phone and it's losing connection also. So it obviously has nothing to do with the broken screen.

I got a new SIM card and issue persists. Very annoying, and I don't understand how this just started happening. Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago.

Perhaps it is on your carrier's end. Remember, the phone can only establish and keep a data connection if the carrier's equipment is functioning properly. Who is your carrier? As a test, you could purchase a prepaid-sim on a different carrier and see if the data connection remains stable. I put a friend on H2O wireless (AT&T MVNO) and he has had zero issues with losing data connection.
Good Luck

I'm with Rogers (Canada). I have contacted them twice, they end up doing something on their end. I reboot the phone, I get LTE connection then I set my phone down and next time I turn it on minutes later it goes to H+ and there's no data connection.

I've had a similar issue, but with my XT1053 Moto X. During or after a call, my network would drop down to 4G (so H+ on the Rogers version) and I'd have no data connection. It would take a while to re-establish LTE, which gets kind of annoying. I'm not sure how to fix the issue just yet.

Yup. I've tested it with my S5, Nexus 5, and Z1 Compact and they all have the same issue. I'm thinking it's a Rogers thing.

I've contacted rogers twice, they opened a ticket with their back-end tech guys, they're going to check the towers around my house and work.
I'll keep you posted with my findings.
Also I've asked a few people I know with Rogers if their data connection is dropping and they've told me no.

I still don't understand how this just spontaneously started to happen. And with 2 different MotoXs

So it looks like it's improving.
