Here is a simple way to download apps to your computer
Original thread here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2275345
Smash the thank button if you like it
i usually press install on pc and it will auto install whenever i connect my phone to the internet and go to gplay.
Or you could just go to play.google.com and find the apps there. Install them and done. Way easier.
If you are on cm10 or 9
How do you download games ?????

Works like a charm thankyou !
Yes it's not just to save your mobile bandwidth . I was stuck after installing cm10 with gapps errors and I needed busybox . If I had had this installed it would have been much easier :good:

It seems to me they didn’t make any significant changes to the Play Store and looks more like a bug-fixer and small-changes-made kind of update.
not having any official change log from Google's side. So I would say just enjoy the new apk.
get the latest google play store apk 3.8.15
The Play Store updates it self, doesn't it ?
So why creating links ?

When I flashed Cm10 jelly time I have those 3 dots and when I flashed AKOP jelly time I dont have those 3 dots.
they are just the replacement of the MENU button at the bottom.

You need gapps for it to work. This is also an old version, now on 3.10.10. Why don't you want gapps? It only installs Google services, you can uninstall any unwanted Google apps....

Do u guys have a default task manager apk file and if you could maybe upload it. These other ones are pretty bad, can't stop anything with them.
Thanks

You can't install it like a normal app because it's signed... You must install it with adb (I don't know if it works... I never used it yet). Right now I can't upload the apk, but maybe later

You guys will be well known of the app called "ZipThemer". Its available in the playstore for free. We can actually change the transition animations in our mini with a few simple steps using ZipThemer.!! ( Its a year old technique i just found it a day before.. )
Here we go !!!
What we need..
1. ZipThemer( download the app from playstore)
2.Ani_xx.zips ( download from the attachments, try the flyflip, the transition looks cool on our mini!!:highfive
How to use zipthemer..
1. Move the Ani_xx.zip to the /sdcard/zipthemer folder.
2.Open ZipThemer, Click on the menu button, then click on Update Edify.
3.Click Browse and find a zip on your sd card (theme, rom, etc) that you have used before and click on Configure. If it fails just try another zip till you get a popup that says "success".
4.After you get "success",press the back button and select +Theme button, then choose the Ani_xx.zip from /sdcard/zipthemer folder.
5.Press the Build it! button,it will then ask whether to create an undo file, select yes and wait.
6.When it completes go to cwm and flash the Ani_xx-update.zip and reboot.
7.Now you can enjoy your new transitions !!!:good:
Note: Incase something went wrong or you want to go back to your default transition,go to cwm and flash the Ani_xx-undo.zip.
(Tested on my mini running gb rom,and it looks good ,but it should work on every rom. Last but not the least, do it at your own risk)

I've been using this ROM for a few days now. Some feedback:
Pros:
Faster boot times than plain CM10
Interface seems smoother
I really love the DPI/scale! Applications look and feel so much nicer on the device's small screen.
ROM is minimal, no unwanted software. Just the basics.
Cons:
Audio playback stuttering is severe regardless of player, kernel or CPU tweaks. (Music lovers be warned)
USB Tethering is not working. (Looks like entire USB module/driver crashes when enabling)

To fix music stuttering go to performance and change kernel to smartassv2 and sub tethering probably needs 3rd party app

Nice ROM indeed. Thank you for the port Mark.
Hey, just one thing, you think you can remove the torch app since it's of no use with our device? And also, I've had some problems installing a few apps due to the DPI I think.
Other than that it's very smooth and slick. Great job!
EDIT: Well, it certainly doesn't appear to be a DPI-related issue, I've been messing with build.prop but I can't get Tasker to install via Play Store... it is important for me because I use it to optimize battery and data usage...

Hey thanks for the tip bro! Did you flash on top of the rom or you had to re-flash the rom and then flash gapps?
I just flashed it on top

Ok so I flashed gapps from Tantrum's pack, didn't work. Then I flashed gapps from Goo.im and still nothing. Strangely, I restored a nandroid I made before flashing Pure Performances and that changed things a bit. Still not working for me though... Play Store now lets me choose install but I get 'Shared lib missing' and the installation fails. I only have 3 apps with this problem: Tasker, Google+ and QR Droid...
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
OK, if somebody flashes this ROM and gets the 'Missing shared library' error message when installing apps from Play Store, this is the fix:
NOTE: In order for this fix to work, you must have Google Maps and Google Search apps installed
1) Download 4.1.2 GAPPS from goo.im to your SD card, (actually a GAPPS from other ROM for Desire C will do, but I just prefer the "official" stuff. )
2) Using a file explorer with root privileges, unzip the gapps zip (I use ES File Explorer)
3) Inside the ZIP go to system/etc/permissions
4) Extract the file named com.google.android.maps.xml to your SD root directory
5) Exit and go back to your SD root directory
6) Look for a folder named system, open it, you'll find the file you just extracted
7) Copy and paste the file to your system directory /device/system/etc/permissions
8) Assign R/W permissions as follows:
Owner R W -
Group R - -
Other R - -
9) Clear Google Play cache
10) Reboot your phone
11) WIN!!!
You can safely delete the extracted directory in your SD root directory.
This is by far my favorite Desire C ROM. It's light on resources and feels soooo smooth. Also it has pretty good battery life.
I recommend flashing too Crossbreeder and PurePerformances to complement overall speed.

Also, for the keyboard bug, you can install any 3rd party keyboard for JB. Just make sure you have it ready on your SD card to install right after flashing. I use TouchPal myself.

You only have to set it once. After that just plug your phone and click on connect. Its not as easy as Sense Roms but this is the best you can do. Just follow simple instructions.
