Wow, that's crazy side by side like that. Gotta try and get my hands on one to try. The way the S4 sounded, to me, was almost a little "tinny" or too much treble...which is how I always feel like my N4 sounds when I record. Good stuff though.

I know many are just excited as I am about the N4 so I want to talk about all the good things about it. Is anyone else more anxious about the phone because of the lack of the press event? I find myself checking every couple hours for a good hands on video to admire. Ahhh, the nexus butterflies all over again

The only hands on videos are from reviewers at a Google demo. Actual review units have been sent out already apparently. We will have to wait until the NDA lifts to see the results though and I imagine it will not be until the week of release.

This is one I've seen that shows off the hardware pretty well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5OOKh6CGzc&feature=youtube_gdata_player. I have to say the phone looks stunning. Seeing the phone at mostly odd angles and short clips makes me more curious about it. I'm super excited

I'm a fan of SAMOLED but this LCD has impressive colors and black level even when she cranked up the brightness.

I was a fan but not so much after owning three phones that had it. I want more accuracy now and brighter screens. The only things that made my galaxy nexus' screen usable was the color/gamma mod and supercurio's app. I look forward to the change

I think separately looking on what you get in the box on the play store page. When the verge did their video it was still in prototype.

I think the N7 whooped ass.
I took a little trip to Best Buy. I really liked the screen on the FireHD. The Mini isn't even that much different then a regular iPad. There is like an inch difference. "30% Bigger" when the idea is smaller is better = fail.

It's not supposed to be funny. It is supposed to be an entertaining advertisement for how amazingly hardcore their blender is.

The iPad Mini is really cool at the first step.
This is inane. Obviously none of you have studied the centrifugal properties of rotational velocidensity at high accelerations. The degradation of the spacetime curve is quite obvious to the trained eye, with signs of mitochondrial necrosis in the sub units of all three devices. From this video one can conclude that the nexus 7 does in fact possession greater tensile biokinetic adhesion while the other two have electrical neo synthesis in spades.

I've had my n7 about 5 days and the other night I was very very drunk, flashed smoothrom, too drunk to remember to clear cache and dalvik, got a boot animation freeze, went back, remembered to clear caches, and got it all working. That was after drinking a whole bottle of vodka myself. Bad idea doing things like that at times like that

Lmao. Yeah I was thinking they were gonna think I was referring to pointing a camera at the screen for some odd reason but sometimes I think too hard. Not sure why. I think I was also trying to keep the title short.
So while the mirroring potential is awesome, I have to ask, what's the advantage of this over just screen recording directly on the N7?

Well I am back again with another Nexus 4! I can't help but love this phone so fricken much!! I was going to go for the Nexus 5 but managed to get a 16gb n4 for £70 good condition and one of those carbon skins on the back, looks nice!
Time to root and install some good stuff!

S4 + AOSP = You get the hardware of Samsung (8-cores, OLED, 13MP + good sensor) + AOSP from Nexus 4.

I must agree with you. Fanboism is equally strong here as among iphoners. I understand that people are satisfied with their devices but making them cult objects is just sick.
I don't think I am gonna replace my N4 anytime soon. I am still happy with it... but to those saying that samsung is cheap plastic...well I wish my N4 had this cheap plastic back instead of its "premium glass".

If the OP likes his phone then good for him(or her). There's reason to like this phone. Why try to rain on his(or her) parade? Pride is a ridiculous thing. The Nexus 4 isn't perfect, but it's far from being trash. I could could call iPhones trash too, because I don't like them, but i'll refrain from that. Anyways, the Nexus 4 is a good phone. It's my daily device. Still powerful and gets the job done. I kinda agree with rather having the plastic back. I got this phone with a busted back and I replaced it with a new one. Some owners might share a certain fear of breaking the back. In this case it was form > function. Imo hardware wise, Samsung does function > form well, better than most, if not all large oems. When it comes to Android OEM, I don't think i'm a fanboy of any oem. Whatever works for me, and does what I want to do with it.
