If you mean 3G-324M Video calling, the type dumb phones & Nokia phones can do without using Data, the answer is no. Unfortunately Android does not support it, so most Android phones do not also. Only Samsung (as far as I know) does have its own "Video Call" implemented in Android.

My understanding was that gingerbread would include a lot of video calling and voip integrations.
i've just installe one of the australian gingerbread RUUs and can only find the voip integration.
how do i make video calls without third party apps?
Gingerbread currently only support SIP video calling, not WCDMA(3G) video calling -_-#

There has been started a rumor.
Supposedly a Samsung employee tweeted that he was making a video call on a Nexus S running 2.3.4.

2.3.4 will probably be announced next month in San Fransisco at Google I/O 2011.
Hi guys,
Now that the Xperia T has a front facing camera, is there any way to make video phone calls? There is no option in the phone dialler to make such calls so I assume I need to get an app from Google Play or is there some secret hidden menu of some sorts? I am aware of Skype but for that the person you want to call also needs Skype. Other droid phones like Samsung has the video call option built in with the phone dialler, even my old Sony Ericsson W995 could make video calls without any additional apps...
I think Skype and even Google Talk has the option for video calling.
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
Google+ hangouts also work quite well.
Video calling can be something that is carrier specific (at least traditionally since 3G Video Calling was introduced by my carrier around a decade ago). Even if they have the same device in multiple markets and carriers, not all markets and carriers can support video calling. SIP/VoIP/skype/gtalk style calling, however, is just data and shouldn't be a problem. You just need to fire up the respective app.
So, it seems to be more about what carrier-specific apps you have and whether they've made something for it.
Carrier apps or other apps like skype and google+ -- in either case, apps can integrate with your contact list.
If you had a built-in video call button, whose video calling service would you want it to use? skype? google? carrier?
Perhaps, Samsung has their own video calling service to ensure that they have marketing points to rival "facetime" or perhaps they have customized their builds to more directly integrate with google talk or google+

Ok, but the original ROM I do it without using other apps, and Skype is not Paid for video calls to mobile numbers?
Make video calls by mobile online at no cost, so I would know if is unable to use a function like this in ROM Maclaw, which is very good.:good:
Video call isn't available on AOSP ROMs. Video call option Is a Samsung's proprietary thingy and we can't port it to CM10.1.

Yes that is worked for me also. Network call can be made easily. But I'm asking native video call which can make from dialer app itself
The asus dialer doesn't support video calling for me. it just goes to Duo.
I hope someone finds a way to install the google phone APK. I had native carrier video calling on my pixel 3 and also duo.
As far as I knew duo is the native video caller for Android. If I am not mistaken duo was used as the "FaceTime" version built in direct to Google phones such as the pixel and Nexus series. I use duo constantly and it works pretty seem less with the occasional bad connection

I could see why people may think so but it is actually not.
My Pixel 3 XL supported native videocalling through its phone app. It also had an option to call out using Duo.
I don't believe there is a way to set a default app for just videochat.
The cool thing about native video calling is that you don't need an app to use it. (Well, in this case, WE do!)
Same problem
Hi bro . I facing same problem. I have used poco F1 earlier in that You can do video call without using internet data. But this Rog 2 is not showing any option to do video call not even receiving nativ video call. Little disappointed with this beast. Any solution ?
We have to find a dialer that supports native carrier videocalling. I have not tried any yet
Please share that dialer app
Please

I tried jio calling dialer but that dialer will bring you to default dialer if you try to make video call. Lil disappointed.
I've been using android phones for more than 8 years. Ever since 3G was launched in India, I've been using the video calling feature in android phones. I switched from Poco-F1 to Asus ROG phone-3 recently. To my utter surprise, I'm unable to use video calling feature on either of my sim cards. Am I missing something or Asus doesn't provide video calling feature on native dialer? Please help me out on how to do video calling using SIM cards without 3rd party apps such as whatsapp, google duo etc. :crying:
Edit: It has been solved. We can make video calls in ROG-3. Install Google contacts and Google phone. Disable asus's native dialer and contact. Make Google's as default. Enable the video calling on sim card (go to system setting and search call). Now you can use video calling on the phone.

Hi, can you please share the screenshot? In my (Google) phone app, video calling option is greyed out. Any specific permission or setting we need to enable that option?

Yeah, I know but not everyone is using Google duo. And I don't feel like using duo when I should be able to make video calls directly using sim card
