Anyone have any idea why the above is happening?

Ok first off, been a member here for awhile but never posted because most everything was GSM (nice to finally see a CDMA section).
So my prob is this; almost every short text I send (lol, ok, lmao... those kind) to someone, they get it twice. Longer texts dont seem to cause it. I'm using a kitchen from ppcgeeks and have the latest Arcsoft.
The only thing I can think of is that there must be some sort of receipt timer in the programs registry that needs to be tweaked. I have combed the reg looking for it, but cant seem to figure out which one it might be. Any help?
if one close outlook before getting a msg sendt notification and one have set
X to terminate rather then minimize that very thing happens
I have my sent notifications turned off, I'll turn em back on and see if that helps.. Thanks for the reply
Well that didnt help either... People are still getting duplicates from me

After you are done typing out your text, hit Enter, then Send. See if they still get dupes.
Hey guys I've been lurking and reading on the forum for a while but haven't had a need to post yet. I've had my phone rooted since the first week I got it and I haven't had any issues.
I rooted my sister's and she hasn't had any problems. My mom didn't want me to root her's so I did the Sprint update then the HTC update to .6 and then the problems started.
It wouldn't install anything, there were no apps in the drawer, wouldn't let me back anything up. So I downgraded it to .5 and rooted it using Regaw's method and flashed Fresh 2.3.3.
She calls me the next morning because apparently overnight her phone was calling random numbers in the same area code. I flashed ZenHeroFX 2.0 and the problem went away until yesterday.
Now I guess her phone was calling out of state numbers. Now it was doing this just sitting out, not in her purse or pocket. She barely has any apps installed on it, surely nothing out of the ordinary.
I searched even other android phone's forums and the only thing I could come up with was Amazon mp3, which I had removed, and being plugged into a non-OEM charger. She generally charges it over usb with the original cable but the wires are pulling out.
So any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Wow, weird, never heard of that before. So it does this even when she's not holding it or touching it? But it only happens when it's on the charger overnight?
Sounds like that could be a clue. Could be a bad charging cable that causes surges or something like that. Maybe buy a new charger/cable?
Or possibly just put the phone in Airplane mode just while it's charging overnight so the radio signals are disabled?
What about putting a lock pattern onto the touchscreen?
Have you called Sprint tech support? What have they said? (knowing some Sprint techs, they might be clueless as well)
Don't know for sure....just trying to think of several things to suggest.
Apparently it was doing it while charging and not. She does have a pattern lock on it.
Something else weird is that while on Fresh the calls would show up in the call log. Lately it has not.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Anyone that is on this ROM, I would like you to try making a 3 way call and let me know if you are able to, please post, some seem to be able to do so and others not and we are trying to find the reason and culprit, all suggestions are welcomed, I even spoke with the developer and he is still trying to find out why some can and others can't
OK update, I flashed CM 6 tonight and have the same issue with the Rom, not able to make a 3 way call, just to clarify in case peeps want to know my process, while on a call, I hit add a call, then type the phone number I want to add, then I hit call button, then I hear a dial tone and then silence, the second counter works as I see the seconds moving, but nothing on the other end, if I wait or if I hit merge calls I get a fast busy signal and the call gets disconnected. So tonight I decided to flash back my stock rooted ROM to see, and low and behold, I am able to do a 3 way call, so it is something in Both Senseless ROMS that is not allowing me to make a 3 way call, any suggestions, I am all ears, I even spent 2 hours with the developer of AOSP, and still no go, and also called Sprint to see if they could refresh the phone and still nothing, and no I did not tell them I was rooted, LOL
Bump, I posted this in another forum and here, to see if anyone with this issue has found a walk around, thanks again
Bump, anyone with the same issue and not able to do 3 way calls please post here so the developer can see others are having the same issue
i've got a friend that has recently experienced his Droid going crazy running through apps on its own and entering gibberish text.
there is a forum at the vzw communities that details the problem (i can't post links here, so community dot vzw dot com and search for:
"Droid running rampantly through apps on its own, entering text into messages & calling people"
anyone else seeing this?
thanks for any ideas
ig
I'll bet that he's using an aftermarket charger. Disconnect it from the charger, and see if it's still misbehaving..

still acting up. just rooted and same problems, he did find a rom that ws stable for a few hours then it started acting up again. im guessing the touchscreen is screwed up.
Am I only one with flex with this problem?
Contacted sprint, told me to update prl and profile, then hands free activate. Still with problem. After while when set to get time by carrier, it goes back to an hour off.
I can fix this by manually setting the clock, but then in programs it shows timestamps of an hour off, guess getting the wrong time from sprint

Dont feel bad, my GPS sometimes says im over 100 miles from where im actually located. checked the forums and Sprint and it seems this is an isolated issue.
