Hi guys, I just reflash my 4x and wanted to root it. But alas, the link in uploadtak.com seems dead and I don't have it in my pc. Tried browsing the Web but all sites refer to the same dead link. Can somebody be nice enough to provide the j794_root.rar file?
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh nothing, everything seems fine. I just need the root.bat but the link to uploadtak.com seems dead. Used to have the file on my pc, but I think I deleted it by accident.

Yes you can flash right over. You have to re root I believe

You need to be more patient then waiting just over an hour. Technically it's against the forum rules to bump a thread within 24 hours which is what your second post is doing.
You need to remember just because people view the thread it doesn't mean they know anything about the subject. I view all threads in here but only post when I know the answer (or when I have to advise people ). Just wait and you'll eventually get an answer.

I've been using the following app:

It lets you chose the colour, flash frequency etc for various different notification events.
For instance I've used it to make my SMS notification flash blue very quickly.

I havent used that app so I cant confirm anything. But looking at the app's description in the play store it has all the instructiosn yo will need.
Its your choice to root, but dont forget, that you can grab a ftf file of your CLEAN rom via PCCompanion or SUS and flashtool that you can flash if you want to go back to an nrooted device.

Once unrooted would Sony be able to tell if phone was rooted?

Yes, but you can always flash a stock FTF and go back to factory settings, Sony won't be able to tell then. Just make a FTF file from a PC companion or SUS update before you root.p

Please please help, cyanogen mod is for me. I unlocked the bootloader and now no warranty. I feel so guilty. Please I beg, tell me how to install stock with kdz? I didn't make backup before installing cm. Now when I connect my phone to pc it dosen't recognize my phone. It is just mtp only. Kdz updater says phone not found. LGFlashTool don't even work. Now when I connect my phone to pc (win 7) it show up bluescreen and reboots. Please help, I wount forget ever, please somebody help, I beg.

I solved the problem before you said. I thanked you because you suggested right thread, it worked for me. LGFlashTool didn't work in this case.
