Hello,
I'm rooted lpy with Franco #3 kernel. Its not going into deep sleep. It was doing this with cf kernel as well. The fix with turning screen on and unlocking before unplugging from USB doesn't work. Only thing that works is a reset. Any other fix anyone has come across? I have frozen maps and the only thing causing significant wakelocks is wlan, which it does after reset.
Thanks.

Hi again,
possible fix is turning USB debugging off.
I'll report back if it works long term. I don't know if it was doing it on GB ROM because I didn't have cpuspy then. I did notice on occasion my battery would drain very fast though and a restart used to fix it.
Anyway, getting great battery life now. Don't know whether it's lpy or Franco kernel or gold battery? Losing about 1% per hour in deep sleep. My impression is that it lasts twice as long in heavy use.

Charged overnight (8 hours) and removed charger before turning on screen. Seems to be going into deep sleep now.
Anybody have problems with Mediaserver draining battery? The drain is at about 23% (kept awake 2h 30m) and I haven't listened to music on my Galaxy at all. The "keep awake" (and the drain) seems to increase only when I keep my screen on. I can see this by refreshing the battery stats every 5 seconds.
What should I do?
Running Slim ICS 3.8 with default kernel
Use Bettery Battery Stats (search in this forum, it's free for XDAers) to drill down the application that causes this.

Clear the data in the app, and reboot should do it (media storage)

Hi guys,i installed this ROM yesterday to my GT-S5830
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2212438
Now i have a problem with battery, this morning I charged it to maximum, and after 5 hours after getting off the charger (and about 45 minutes of effective usage (reading news and using facebook over mobile data)) battery level is 13%...
When I go into Battery stats it says that Screen uses 100% of battery ,and it's Time on is 1h 1m 6s
Brightness is set to 50%.
What could be the problem?
I'd guess that you can't go into deep sleep mode and that some kind off app is waking up your device..

That came to my mind too. How can i find which app is waking it?
I have installed WakeLock Detector, and it showed that Facebook made 120 wakelocks over night, though Facebook is not even listed in Battery stats.
I have set refresh interval of facebook to 1 hour, chat is off, how do I solve this problem, my phone is almost unusable with battery like this?
guys please help me, i deleted facebook completely, but it's not problem, when I get phone off the charger and use it for few minutes, battery drops to 70%!! It should not be battery issue,as when I used it with stock ROM there until few days ago it was OK. I've done Wipe battery stats in CWM after ROM install.
Try a full wipe & flash your rom again.

Hey everybody, I just downloaded beanstalk rom a few days ago and it is awesome, the only problem I have os Google Services draining 10~20% of my battery, i tried everything on this forum also the GServicesfix app on the market, turned off the location and the sync, no difference. But I guess the problem is not only with Google Services as my battery drains pretty much fast I have to charge mu phone twice a day, Googe Services do drain battery but it is not the only reason, however, it is the only thing with abnormal battery use in power options. ps: I didn't have the google services problem at stock rom but the battery also drained fast.
Any help???? I have 2 problems, Google Services abnormal battery usage and battery drainage disregarding the google services consumption.

Example for battery drainage:
The battery drains about 20% while I sleep at night with absolutely nothing running except WiFi. 20% in about 8 hours.

Go to settings > accounts & sync and uncheck background data and sync options. There you go!!!

Hi,
my phone's battery is draining really fast as it is not going into deep sleep. it is being kept awake by GPIO_KP kernel wakelock. does any one know what it is and how to disable this?
Thanks
