I just tried my pair of Beats Solo HD on my One, and plugging the L shape jack into the phone has no effect, and the phone doesn't register that headphones have been plugged in?
If I do it with the opposite side of the wire, that plugs into the headphones, it works but the sound quality is seriously terrible and tinny.
I use my stock headphones on a daily basis, I use my Phillips ones and also my ibeats, all work perfectly but not my Solo HD? Any ideas guys?
Bump
Did you try plugging them in to something else to make sure there is nothing wrong with the cord on the Solo HDs?

Is it just my phone or the Thrill doesn't support those esrbuds when it comes to using the phone. I can ear voice but they can't hear me. Tried calling myself using landline and still a no-go. They work with a pair I bought I Walmart for $20. Anyone have that problem?
Yep, mine only work for sound....

Hold the plug up side by side with another headset 3.5mm plug and see if the three rings line up.

Before u plug your ear buds in the port, hold down the middle portion of the mic (in between the + and - ) then plug in in while still pushing. Once the headphone icon on the Thrill shows up you can now release. Works like a charm.
hmmm. I never tried the iPhone Headphones before, might try to give it a go and see how it goes.
Anybody know if its possible or how to transfer music from USB to a USB input...like a car stereo that has a USB port? This can be achieved with my much older Samsung infuse...but there doesn't seem to be the possibility on here.
Any ideas? Has anybody been able to connect there vivid to a car stereo through USB? How did you do it? Any help is appreciated...I typically just use my aux cord but I seem to have misplaced it :/

Won't your USB port look at your sdcards and find music?
I've never used one in my vehicles... but I know someone who did and he had more than just music on it... but the car only played music...

The music has to be on the external sd card and your vivid needs to be set to ask what to do upon usb connection, then select set to disk drive once connected. I figured this out just the other day with my car stereo.

Guess it depends on the head unit. Works fine on mine, but mine is aftermarket.
Those aux cords cost .25ยข-$2...

So I went to plug the HTC earphones that come with the phone in to listen to some music, and the music played through the speakers instead. I tried pushing it a bit more, rotating it and bending the cable but nothing work. I know the earphones are working because I tested them on my laptop and they work fine. I also now that it is not a bug in the ROM is was using as I went back to the stock ROM and I still had the problem.

Damn. It looks like we are both in the same boat then. I'm going to check if there is any lint in the headphone jack in the morning (1:46 AM here xD)
Checked headphone jack and there wasn't any lint or blockages.
Cool. Get a new one

The problem is that the warranty is probably voided due to unlocking the bootloader.

What do you recommend?
You might have dust in your headphone port. Try to see if there's any dirt in there and blowing it out might be Able to clear it up.

They're headphones. They will plug in. The only thing that would cause them to not work would be a case that obstructs the fitment of the jack to the port. I've plugged in many different head phones from cheap $2 sets to PowerBeats by Dre as well as Studio by Dre.

I understand that they have the required 8th inch adapter but I was just making sure because some reviewers of these headphones had problems with certain devices. Thanks again

Well I've never used them, but as long as it has 3.5mm connection or adapter it should work.

1) I moved this thread to the Q&A forum.
2) I've used the AT-M50s on every phone I've had and they work fine except the TPU case on some pushes out the headphone jack sometimes. So I take a razor and make the headphones hole a bit bigger on my case. Other than that you should have no issues.
These are still my favorite headphones, way better than any of the Beats and even the Bose in this price range. If they were a big smaller I would wear them at the gym, but for at home listening these headphones rule the world.

Oh thanks. Quick question, I've heard the burn in time for these headphones is super long. Do they still sound good out of the box or is it alright and then much better after use?

They sound really good out of the box.
The burn in time isn't incredibly long, I put some decent hours on mine and they just get better and better, but out of the box I found the sound quality to still be superior to any other cans in that class.
