So we all know that the atrix hd has HDMI mirroring. Its very laggy and slow. But when i used my atrix 4G on gingerbread CM ROM, HDMI mirroring was very fast and not slow at all. The atrix HD is why better than the first atrix. Does this happen to any one else too? Why does it suffer at HDMI mirroring? I hope maybe a dev sees this and maybe try to fix it? That'd be more than great.

What ROM are you using? Maybe it is an issue with ROM.
I'm stock 4.1.1 rooted. I've tried custom roms and they give the same laggy performance. How's your HDMI mirroring?

I have tried on JB. Mine is lag too.

Do you think that maybe since the Atrix resolution is HD and since its mirroring HD video at the same time, that's what's making it slow? The 1st atrix phone didn't have an HD screen so I guess that made it a normal mirroring without lag.

i have my backup in cwm recovery and in matter of seconds switch between 4.1.1 and ICS when i need the lapdock (which 2 ports needs to be inverted).
Is it possible if you sent me the backup and instructions on how to do this?

FIXED THE PROBLEM! It turns out that jellybean was the issue. After downgrading back to ics, HDMI mirroring is smooth as can be with absolutely no lag. Even GTA VC plays great while mirroring.

Does anyone have a Bell Atrix HD that they are using on AT&T? If so are they able to use the medianet plan undetected?
Thanks

Atrix 2 has received JB 4.1.2 update before Droid Razr XT912 received it. It's only for China version of Atrix 2. It's funny that they abandoned it on AT&T version.
I believe we will receive JB 4.2.2 after Droid Razr HD.
It would be awesome! But it seems like a fake
Let's hope is true :good:

At best, they can remove the exploit that allows people to unlock the bootloader, but yeah, once it is unlocked, it can't be relocked. That's as far as I know, anyway.

Good, with any luck it'll work for us without any more work than build.prop mods and removing NFC.apk.
Even better is when it finally is released Moto will also release the 4.2.2 kernel source which SHOULD be a 3.4 kernel.
As far as 4.2.2 is concerned, all I really care about is Moto's kernel source and if that'll help out Epinter and the rest gang to get us pure AOSP....not even for AOSPA. I'd just like to run the actual Android OS w\o any carrier bs or it being CM or whatever -- I never have :crying:.
I gotta find some triple a's, my keyboard is about to die and my wired board had a coffee incident.
Mr. skeevy, I have a question... What's this for?

Oh good news! I have a noob question that if I got my bootloader unlocked, I shouldn't play with OTA update, right?
Does anyone have T-Mobiles Wifi calling feature on their Atrix HD? I someone got it on their Samsung Infuse which is an At&T phone. I'm switching to T-mobile so i want to be able to use wifi calling.
I've asked this question before and didn't get any feedback.
I would definitely love to have it if someone has it working, but I think the answer is no

I would think the best route would be to port from the T-Mobile s3 since it has the same chipset, but I don't know nearly enough to make it happen...

The thing about that is that s3 is on T-Mobile and at&t so you would have to flash the T-Mobile s3 stock rom in order to get wifi calling. There's no atrix HD type phone on T-Mobile.

Hm yeah. I just meant that if somebody was going to try and port it, the s3 is probably the closest configuration T-Mobile device to ours, considering both have MSM8960 chipsets, dual core 1.5ghz krait, and Adreno 225 graphics. If someone wanted to port the Wi-Fi calling app alone to the AHD, the T-Mobile GS3 would probably be the best place to start (again, I'm no expert)

Your right. Sorry. They would basically have to strip down the firmware and implement it as a zip. I really hope someone figures it out. Apparently right now there's a WiFi calling enabling method for non T-Mobile phones but its only for gingerbread and under.

Trying to root and rom my friends Atrix HD, he's with at&t,
I cannot for the life of me fine the at&t section.
Rooting and flashing a ROM is universal for the AHD. Carrier doesn't matter
Sent from my Atrix HD using Tapatalk 4
This isn't the atrix 2 bud. This is technically the atrix 3. And it's an att phone so the roms are based on att first off. But like he said carrier doesn't matter. Any rom for the phone will work. That's why it's just a Motorola atrix HD section.
