Using TrickDroid w/ ElementalX
I used Android Revolution but changed, now HTC Messages when i click Settings> General is crashing. I did a full wipe coming from the previous rom

This is all started with the older version of De-Sensed rom v.1.4 then installed Virtuous Inquisition latest rom next and recently updated the kernel from 005 Faux to 007 last week. I've been wanting to try out the De-sensed rom ver.1.5 and flashed the new kangbang kernel sr7.0. Turns out it wasn't for me.
I always wipe in between flashing roms and I didn't back up any roms at all. I just simply flash the new roms. Well anyways, I went back to Virtuous inquisition w/ faux007. Now I don't have wi-fi, not only i couldn't transfer numbers to the message app now i can't even go to the message app and retrieve the contacts. Goo manager is not even installed either.
First time installing this rom, everything was a breeze and everything went well. What happen?

Are you s off or s on? If your s on you gotta do fastboot flash the kernel...then flash the Rom...your WiFi problem is due to the fact that the WiFi lib/driver wasn't flashed...hope that helps/made sense...

And if that don't help try to reflash the Rom , I just had the same issue and that's what worked for me .
I've never had the messaging app work correctly on either the de-sensed or virtuous. Posted about it on here, but no one ever responded. If you are s-off re-wipe everything and reflash the ROM. Check the md5 sum on the .zip you've got for the ROM just in case.

First I want to thank the developers for this fast & beautiful ROM.
And here is my question since I cant post it in the original thread for this rom, If any1 else beside me that upgraded from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 noticed major lags when scrolling between app pages in app drawer and overall lesser responsiveness from the phone.
I have installed semaphore kernel 2.9.12s.
my installation procedure to install 4.2.2 was:
had installed 4.2.1 official version + semaphore 2.9.12s
went to recovery -> full data wipe/factory reset, wiped dalvik cache, basically wiped anything with cache in its name, and manual format of /system
and then installed 4.2.2 build 1.1
when it booted up, the whole time i was using it the overall responsiveness was noticably slower than the 4.2.1 version to which i reverted previously and now using it.
was my install procedure faulty, are there still some bugs in the new rom, or is something wrong with my phone?

No, there was nothing wrong you did. 4.2.2 is not a final release as yet, it's a build 1 release, so that's the main reason for this Enjoy
you souldnt get lag because i updated from 4.2.1 slim to 4.2.2 without any wipes and got no problams but yeah it is build 1....

Like the title say. Other than Stock ROM's, are their any. I have tried ViperOne 6.0 and TN sense 6.0 V3 and neither let it work.

fm works on bad boyz rom, also works on viperone if you go to titanium back up tap the fm services and(update) restore app and data, then radio works(for me it did anyway)but it won't survive a reboot, then you do the process over again and it works again.

Thanks. Installed Bad Boyz just after I posted and it worked. I may re-install ViperOne and check it out.

I just got done more or less gaining S-Off on my VZW One and Flashing stock 4.4.3 radios, kernels, and firmware. After which, I went and flashed Viper One 7.0.2 and figured I'd flash the kernel it came with. Every looks to be running fantastic, but now I'm just trying to get double tap to wake working again. I had it working on a very old build of Viper One but can't get it working here. I also went and enabled the " Apply kernel settings on boot" option that was present but no dice. Any ideas?

According to that link, that kernel supports Sense 5.5 Android 4.4, while Viper One 7.0.2 is based on Android 4.4.3 Sense 6. Will this still work or am I better off looking for a different kernel from the Verizon M7 thread...

I recently installed the ViperOne 9.0.0 Custom ROM on my HTC one M7, starting to handle the ROM, i cannot find how to turn off the running apps, in last version i click twice on the home button to manage running apps !
Please, i need to know how to trun off running apps on this version !
