Try it if you want to find out. v6.0.3.1 works perfectly so I see no reason to change - give me 4EXT and I might do though.

This will most likely not work. The L5 has other mount points, as well as other partitions (and partition names OFC)

I can help but there is a risk you might brick your phone but if you know how to recover from a bricked optimus 2x then youll be fine.
what you have to do first is download a p990 nvflash rom to wipe and repartition your phone into P990 configuration.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715272
after installing the NVFlash rom, install a P990 CWM recovery; make sure its 5.0.2.8 for P990. Find it in the forums.
then place this zip file on your phone via CWM then install it via CWM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27912487&postcount=31
after that, open /system/build.prop using a nice file manager like Astro file manager or Root explorer and edit
Code:
user.feature.lgdrm=true
into
Code:
user.feature.lgdrm=false
to enable media and stuff.
NOTE: There may be some times that your phone will suddenly black out, not work, or stuff. all you have to do is remove battery -> boot into CWM -> advanced -> reboot recovery and it will reboot normally.
So far, everything works with this method including STK (Sim tool Kit) BUT FM WILL NOT WORK because the SU660 does not have analog FM hardware.
ALSO: accelerometer seems glitched or inverted in some games. quite annoying. very hard to find a fix so if you can find a fix then maybe you can post here and help the SU660 community.

because the custom rom only replaces the system folder. the CWM recovery automatically checks all the patitrions to find out where to put the rom. that's why we need unique recovery for every kind of phone!

[Q] error mounting /sdcard!

with ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.0.
I'm trying to install a baseband and I can't mount sd. In CyanogenMod 7.2 stable the sd card works perfect)
thanx
I thought you used SmartFlash for flashing a baseband?

I have two zips of baseband (823-V21b-Baseband.zip, 824-V20f-Baseband.zip) that I want to try to install it in my phone. There are in the sd card (it works perfect in Android).
It's rare: in other phone, LG Optimus Sol I can access to sd card when I click in 'install zip in sdcard', but I can't do it in LG 2x Optimus now
You can't install basebands using CWM. You need Smartflash for that. I believe there's a sticky thread at the Development section about that.

CWM flashable zip for ICS

Hi, is there a CWM flashable zip for the ICS bootloader?
All the ones I have are for Nvflash.
Any would do though I would prefer 6.0.1.5 and/or 5.0.2.8

Well I use the 6.0.1.5 Version because on the 5.0.2.8 my 2X always vibrates when I am in the CWM recovery

Don't know.
To root my Froyo P970, I had to use a tool called Blackjack. Nothing else I tried worked.
You can install the recovery img using adb from:
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager

I personally use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481929
Adam has done good job with it, no bugs whatsoever and you can use it even if you don't want multi rom

I read that people who were using TWRP have some problems while fleshing some roms and kernels.Did u have some problems? I am using CWM because never had any issues with it untill now.To be honest i dont even know how big of a dil is this error i get while trying to wipe dalvik catche.
This is not a problem at all. It just indicates you don't have an ext-sd partition (by default nobody has it).
