Hey,
I just wanted to tell you that a (new) beta of Tapatalk 4 was released on Google Play.
I know that information is not very new, but I still wanted to post it here, because maybe some users didn't know it...
It has still many bugs and is just translated good for English, but it is already usable and has many nice features...
Tapatalk 4 will replace Tapatalk HD when it's final/stable!

Yeh so I made my first CM7 based rom with some add ons. Nothing fancy just little apps that I THINK is vital for a new flashed rom. Anyone have free time and would like to try this?
Post a link I could give it a go although two things you'll probably get more responses in the development section and two have you even tried it yourself yet?

I was wondering if someone knows how far work on the theme / design engine for cyanogenmod 9 is?
I see the design tab in settings all the time and I am very excited to start playing with it!

I think that for most people here wants a stable CM10(.1) based whatever rom with good quality cam and working gps.Fancy features are useless if the rom is not usable for the most common stuff.
And "Bruno from Mars", if you will do it, you will gain a Arcee like status on this forum and everyone will bow in front of you.

Ok. Im in the works of the ROM.
this ROM will feature a aim of not adding features to bombard more bugs, but to solve bugs before adding a single new feature. This grants your wish, and is also my aim. to help fellow xda users

I know it's early in the day but I'm just curious as to whether there is any user interest here for a nice working build of MIUI and more importantly are there any devs in these parts that think they are up to working on this? I'm considering giving my Note 2 to my wife and getting this phone.

Happy to see that the demand is apparently there. Now the question is are there any Devs that share our interest.
I loved MIUI and used it on my OG Evo 4g, but I'm guessing it's going to be a while before we see a stable release on the S4.....There isn't even a "stable" release on the S3 yet...and yes I know there's a release on the S3 that claims to be stable but it isn't so.
I gave up on the MIUI update for the Note 2. lol Happy with the S4 Sim Rom for now. I think development will pick up once they figure out the update kernel issue.
Man, do I miss me some miui from my et4g days!

Overall is a fun rom to play with. The themes are fun, especially within the launcher. Some themes allow you to swipe up and you then have a desktop theme to play with as well. The big frustration I have with miui roms is the fact that many of the themes are in Chinese and they're not translated to English. So it looks a bit odd with Chinese characters on your lock screen .

like most people said already...the themes, but I like it cuz it just feels like a totally new phone when you have MIUI. It's so customizable.
the themes are a nice touch, i prefer using a open source rom that looks like aosp and features a theme engine similar to miui though

I dont really see ios in miui. Aside from theming, which I barely do on it, v5 just looks and works great. From the sounds to options to colors...I just really dig it all on miui.

I Personally love the lockscreen the most on MIUI but the theme setup is amazing. the 4.2.2 lockscreen is nice but on MIUI its so much cooler looking and i love how easy it is to activate the music player and the look of it.

BRO I NEED SOME MIUI. LBX is a good guy but he has had us in suspense for months w/o delivering anything closely resembling a DD. Scouting over here to see if there is a good MIUI dev who is ready to tremble.

While surfing through the net I found something really interesting for our Nexus 5. It's titled as Maru OS by the original developers. It was the first time I heard about it, so I thought I'll paste it here so that people get to know more about it and if someone has used it, they might share the experience. What this amazing OS does it it turns your desktop to Debian Linux as soon as you connect your phone. That's something really interesting. Wanna know more? Checkout this link here.

We all are waiting eagerly, my friend. He said he'll give links to people in batches as to when they subscribed. I hope I'm not too far down the list.
I only signed up 10 days ago so I should be in the last batch but hopefully the batches are large and the site is capable of handling the traffic when the links are live

I been using Debian for the last 3 years on my PC so I'm really looking forward to having it instead of android for carrying round
Also i wonder if the Debian screen could be output via Chromecast/miracast think I will have to email and ask

I just got my beta links but will need to download files read the documentation and flash it then I can come back with some first impressions but I'm still waiting for my slimport cable to arrive so can't test the Debian side for a few more days

Will upload that in a bit need to root it first

I flashed it yesterday and it looks promising... today I will try the dashboard mode as the cable I have it was not working with the Nexus.
