hi there, I have a new HTC One on AT&T. I tried to do a soft reset, and since then now it will load with the Quietly Brilliant screen, but after that the screen is blank. It won't do anything. I tried to do a factory reset and it still does the same thing. I did notice on the bootloader screen it says my device is locked? I tried connecting it to my macbook and the HTC Sync manager says my device is locked and it is unable to recognize it, please unlock it and reconnect.
I can get into HBOOT but nothing from there seems to lead me to anything but the blank screen again (from which I can hard reset or go to the HBOOT)
I'm at a complete loss as to what I should do, please help!

Hello all,
as the title says, one of my touch diamond's is stuck in bootloader screen.
I didnt do anything in between it working and not working, it was on my desk, put it there working, got it 5mins later, and it was in bootloader screen (tricolor screen).
What i've already done to try and fix it:
flash it with the original HTC rom, flash completes succesfully, phone reboots to tricolor screen, so no solution there.
install mtty and format the phone, this completes, reboot the phone, again goes to the bootloader.
reflash the phone with original rom after cleaning it with mtty, flash again completes succesfully but when it reboots after flashing it just goes to bootloader again.
Tried to flash a Hardspl: stuck at 0% and stays there. so that doesnt work.
BUT! when in mtty i give the "boot" command, it DOES start to boot WM. but then again, when i turn the phone of, and on again, or it reboots because of first start after flash, it goes to bootloader again. The VOLDOWN button is NOT stuck, cause when it boots i can use the vol buttons perfectly fine.
Anyone got an suggestion in how to unbrick it? i have a second, perfectly working diamond here too, if that helps in any way.
Some more info ive just seen in mtty, when i told it to boot, it said ONE BAD BLOCK IN CE, remove block ---- to ---- (dont know the exact numbers anymore)
hi..i had something like that...
just download this.
"RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition"

Hi,
My T mobile touch diamond stuck in bootloader screen? Any experties to help me please.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have an htc touch diamond that will not boot past the splash. It turns on, says htc diamond without red letters. I have tried soft reset & hard reset, doesnt work. also phone does not turn on by power button but only the reset button. Every time I try to flash or unlock it says "Error 262", I've tried soft reset and continuing the setup and the error comes up again. I've tried the whole thing of changing the driver from 2007 to 2003 and completed it and still has not fixed error 262. I've tried many different roms and the only ones that bypass 262 are the .exe file rom setups, but after installed still doesnt boot past splash screen. the farthest ive gotten with one .exe is going through the phone setup, but after the setup the phone turns off. the only way my computer notices the phone and the way i flash the phone is when it is in bootloader. have also tried the bootloader where you press the back button. I've been trying so hard to fix this phone but it just wont happen. please help?

If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.
Note: At this stage, the Wince is destroyed; instead, it is in upgrade mode.
for official rom you can find at http://www.shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=windows mobile&model=Diamond
Alright, i have an extreme problem with my HTC One s. It is rooted. I was trying to flash my first ROM, but somewhere in the process i did something wrong, and it wouldnt go past the htc splash screen. I restored to my backup, but was still not able to get past the splash screen. I then accidentally hit factory reset at the hboot menu, and now my phone has no OS, the sd card gets an error mounting, and my computer wont recognize my phone. I have read ways to get past the bootloop, but they need me to connect my phone to my computer, but i cant! Can anyone help me???
Umm this is the HTC M7 forum.
Rooted, Unlocked Bootloader, S-On, had InsertCoin ROM flashed and TWRP
Today, I was just using my phone normally and all of a sudden, it rebooted into recovery and I could't reboot out of it. I tried wiping the caches and booting from some back ups and none of that worked. It was while trying to boot from a day 1 backup I had saved that my phone bricked.
From there, tried the light trick, and holding the power/vol buttons with no avail. Its completely unresponsive, though my PC makes the noises when I plug it in even though the phone isn't showing up as a device.
Please help, I'm getting scared that I have no options here.

so the problem right now is that it is bricked. It won't respond to anything and it won't turn on. But before that, the problem I was trying to fix myself was that it was only booting to recovery, though it was able to also boot into bootloader mode.

Call in the warranty ambulance.
Hopefully they can't get it to boot either otherwise they won't cover the warranty because you modified it
