When I connect my Optimus 4X to a Windows 7 computer, I can access both internal storage and SD card, but when I connect it to a Mac under OSX Lion, nothing shows up, I tried all USB connection types.
Do you guys know how to fix it ?

set usb connection to mtp and use android filetransfer for mac. worked fine for me and the transfer rate is awesome

Do you mean the internal sd card?
If so just connect it with the USB cable to the PC

No what i mean like in xperia arc when u put usb in pc u will see removable disk so u can copy file faster and edit also when u frmat that storge by using recavery prgrame u can reback your files

Because with the my phone on stock rom I connect with usb cable and I see both external and internal sd cards....
yes i wont to mount my internal sd card as MSC mode not only the external sd card
U can't. Only external card is allowed

I've been trying to recover some files from my phone internal storage which were deleted by mistake and for recovering I need to connect my phone as mass storage but when i connect my phone it connects as media device (MTP).
How do we connect it as mass storage?

Hello,
Today I wrecked the touchscreen of my Xperia Z. However there are videos and photos on the internal storage that I really want to keep. The problem is that the device is currently set to MSC and not MTP. Therefor I can't access the internal storage.
Is there a way to still access internal storage in MSC?
Is there a way to switch connection types without using the touchscreen?
It would be amazing if someone could help me out on this. :victory: My phone is not rooted and runs the latest firmware (Feb 2014).
Try with adb shell , mount the Partition, and copy Your files to an external_sd card
