Hello guys, I'm an Italian boy, I've found today in the subway a Motorola Atrix HD in my city of Rome. I saw that this smartphone only exists in America and not in Italy, in fact there is the availability of the Italian language (English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.) The provider is AT & T.
I wanted to know if there is a way to use an Italian SIM card in this smartphone. Does anyone know how to help me? There is also a way to add the Italian language? Please help me: (

from what i know, there is not italian language setting to make the system language italian, but they are ways to make italian the input language like for keyboards and such. as for the SIM card, i'm not too sure about that. I think if you use a microSIM card that uses GSM frequencies like AT&T it might work.
i am for sure about the language, but for the SIM card, you need to research that a bit

hey ciao.
si lo puoi usare devi cercare una sim card compatibile con le caratteristiche di questo magnifico telefono (guarda sopra in testa al forum c'e la descrizione completa con tutti i dettagli)
quando inserisci la sim card devi comprare in "unlock sim code" per AT&t (lo trovi anche su e bay)
devi essere molto attento ad inserire il codice (se non sbaglio hai solo 3 possibilita") altrimenti il telefono diventa inutilizzabile

You can add in the Italian language, it's just time consuming.
Basically, find a RAZR HD 4.1x Stock European rom, decompile all its apks,
take one of our Stock roms, decompile all its apks,
copy/paste the Italian language folders from RAZR to AHD,
rebuild the AHD apks,
open the newly built apks (use 7-zip) and drag-n-drop all the new apks files into the old apk (signature verification crap),
take the copied into old apks and add them to a stock rom zip, again use 7-zip,
flash the new stock rom zip.
That's the basics of it anyways. Should at least give you an idea of what to search xda for to do it.

Unfortunately I am no expert on these things so I'm afraid of making a mistake and ruin this beautiful Motorola Atrix HD.
I tried to download and install "MoreLocal 2" (recommended by Legendz R3DeaDz) but I saw that the menu of your smartphone and many other things are in English, while only changing a few words in Italian.
Regarding the use of a SIM Italian I then confirmed that there is a way?

I think you need to contact AT&T to have them SIM unlock it. Or Google is your friend

I understand the precedent set in Finders keeps v. Losers weepers, but did you even try to find out who it belongs to? I ask because someone "found" my old phone once. It was right where I left it in my car.

"found" is a litterer translation for the italian word meaning "got a great deal"......
Unlock
1. Buy an unlock code from the plethora of unlock dealers. (google search for it if you can not find locally)
2. Insert italian sim card(if it reads, and phone is locked it will say enter network unlock code, if unlocked start calling, however if locked...)
3. Enter unlock code
4. Enjoy

I found a keyboard that has Spanish layout (also portuguese, russian, etc etc)
It's really cool , as it supports T9 for these languages as well.

You need HardSPL for this change...
And second one you need is the Spanish reconstructed ROM....

Hi I found the rom in Spanish Spanish for windows mobile 6.5. However, XDA not allow me to put links. Maybe upload a download link after I removed the restrictions.

Thanks for the reply. I did check htcmania but could not find anything recent for the Tilt 2 ATT unlocked. Could you post a link if you have a suggestion?
On mania & xda there is the old rom by Montecristo with Office 10 BETA but the cook left the building about 9 months ago & a user posted on mania:

You have to unlock bootloader to do that and there is no way to do it with locked bootloader
