Hi, does anyone know why, when you refresh blink feed the newest feed has to be scrolled down to? Would you not think it should remember the last thing you read and start from there. It's so annoying to back track down the feeds every time.

I love my HTC one but I miss the rich notifications I had on my Galaxy Nexus (the option to 'fold out' a notification to see multiple mails for instance) . I thought that it was a feature of Android 4.2 but now I have seen a YouTube review where the HTC one has rich notifications! I've attached a still from the video. So am I missing something here?

Swipe down with two fingers on the notification

Does anyone know what causes this? Third day with this device, came from a sensation but I never had this issue. Looked up the issue and a post Said that it's caused by playing audio with the screen off...
I didn't do that?
And the 2 posts were from people with HTC ones.. anyone know why?

thats triggered when you have notification comes in. when notifications come in while screen off and you play a sound it triggers the audio_out_4
set your phone to vibrate and it wont trigger.

Thanks, you helped me figure out the problem! It was hockey and goal alerts from 2 programs. Disabled them and voila! So apparently it could come from apps too! Thanks!

I may have run into a weird bug. I cannot access Facebook in the playstore, and when I look at the version that came preinstalled on the First, it's version 3.0, whereas on my HTC, it's running 3.2.
Anyone else running into this?
It isn't a huge concern, as I'm giving this phone to my grandmother who doesn't even use facebook, but, I just find this endlessly odd.
That shouldn't happen. Have you tried visiting the "my apps" section of the play store and try the Facebook app that (should) show up there?

It doesn't show up anywhere. Not in the my apps section, and not when I search for it in the play store. Even on the desktop, the web version of the play store says its incompatible. It's a bit weird.
I'm getting the same thing. I just took a screenshot.

Hmm, Maybe this SKU of the first has mistakenly been blackballed from receiving facebook updates in the play store? If anyone has any other colors, I'd like to know if they are experiencing the same problem.
Same issue. Blue version.

same issue here white color ... even though it has nothing to do with color lol its something stupid with framework and the way facebook integrated everything

I have a black HTC First and was able to update Facebook to 3.2.1. However, this update was supposed to add the much need Favorites Bar (Dock) to the Home launcher. It is not working for me.
Anyone else seeing this?
it updated for everyone because it only updates if there is an update for home.. i dont use home or id test for ya

I cannot find anywhere after. The newest facebook update how to change stories from "top stories" to "most recent"...did they take this feature away?

Top left button, news feed settings.
Or you can now slide left/right go get to the menu or chat

I don't have a top left button, not a news feed settings within the menu page.
I tried clearing cache, data, deleting the app and reinstalling...

OOOO, you have this new weird version I've heard about...are you signed up for the beta testing?
And I can't swipe to the right to get to the menu, I have to hit the bookmark button at the bottom right ad shown.

Now that's weird. I've seen 1 other person I know with it and he's on the beta test (as am I). Perhaps post on his G+ post about it...

SGS 3 here, I had the same issue, my Facebook for Android version was v3.4 and I had no top left menu. The strange thing is that my wife has the same phone and the same version of the Facebook app....and the menu was there.
I just uninstalled the Facebook app and installed v3.3 from here:
http://www.androiddrawer.com/10902/download-facebook-3-3-app-apk/#.Ueb8C42UTMI
I have the menu back now.
I know I could just google it, or read and find out, but I really wanna know from people who actually use and make it.
What is HALO? I've seen it in many roms these days and it's got something to do with bubble notifications? I haven't gotten the slightest clue
so could someone explain it to me?
Thanks for answering this noobie's question
I use it for Whatsapp, its like the facebook messenger. Floating window

Imagine Facebook's Chat Heads.
Now imagine that they appear whenever you get a notification.
Now imagine that each bubble opens the notification's app in a minimised window rather than opening the app itself.
That is Halo.
