This the best phone stand ever...it can be used with any phone, but i use it with my note...it works great, small foot print, and best of all it was free...in fact i don't even know where one could get this...i got mine from my local carrier store....
Looks like some sort of tablet stand

Do you have a part number or official name for this accessory? I went to the Otterbox site to look for it, but I couldn't find it. Thanks!

That's exactly how I got mine. Literally walked in, told them I needed a case with a stand, they gave me this. Haven't needed a case with a stand for about 7 months now.
Sorry about the part number, but I don't see anything.

Nope. The G2X will be available in t-mobile stores on April 20th 10:00am.
Technically yes, but no cause they cant sell it to you yet. How I know because I held one and a gslate on a tmobile store, not a display item but the real working deal.

Go down to the store. Tell them you want to see the demo they got in the back. That's what I did. The chick looked at me and said, "what makes you think we already have one?" Ok, right sweettits, give up the goods. She smiled then went to the back and got it.
I have to say, for the 5 min I played with it, I love it. I doubt they will sell out but I talked her into holding one for me till I got off work. And got her number. WIN!

It was the sweet-tits comment, they love that.
Yesterday, the store next to my office let me play with a functioning demo model. They said they do have them in stock but couldn't sell one to me as it isn't in their systems yet.

except it was a guy so no sweettits or phone number but man that phone is fast i do wish the speakers were a little louder but its standable and for those dieing for the htc kick stand they had a belt clip case and the clip turns into a kickstand for both portrait and landscape. and the picture looks great. dont know if its better or worse than others but it is better than my droid and looked great.
^^^Thank you good sir, I will be hunting down this super case as soon as my G2X comes in the mail.
Btw, for all those who ordered the G2X online/over the phone, when I got my G2 back when it released online earlier than the street date I called my local store and asked if they had accessories and they said that they had them, but couldn't sell them yet as the phone wasn't out. But after I told them I had already got the phone online they told me to bring it in and they let me buy whatever accessories I wanted.

I went to a job site (a car dealership) and left it in the drivers seat. It was raining and I'm guessing that with my tools and boxes, that I forgot to lock it with the remote or it did not lock. I didn't notice it missing until I went to my second job and went to hide it (which I normally do). I didn't hide it at the dealership because I was only planning on being there 20 minutes that turned into 2 hours.
I looked everywhere, being in denial, but I distinctly remember putting it in my car because it was raining and I had to conceal it while I ran out to my car.
Kinda sucks. Not only because I'll have to buy another one (I just bought one from Walmart so I can exchange it when the 32gb comes out), but also because I had a $20 case on it and an SGP Matte SP. I blame the iPad Mini. Thats probably what they thought it was!
I know there are plenty of threads about Anti-theft stuff but I'm kinda in a rush to push something to it from the play store. Ceribus or something rings a bell. Any suggestions?
I just installed Cerebus but I don't think it'll work without prior setup. I downloaded Plan B but I'm not sure it'll work either because it mentions it will only try to locate within the first 10 minutes.
Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that will provide any security without prior setup. Everything I've seen needs to be configured.
Lookout plan b... its on the market. You can push it to your device from the market website
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yea I pushed Plan B. It went missing some time between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. I noticed it gone about 6pm. After driving back to my office to check my desk, back home, walmart, and home, it is now 11pm.
If I'd stolen a device, it would have been factory defaulted the instance I had a second to do it.
I'm in pretty good with the staff at the Dealership. My gf also works for the same group (different property though). She said they have security cameras all over. I'll get them to look at the tapes and see who it was.
Feel sorry about your loss. I don't think any security app help it, it's useless IMO. If the thief is smart enough, he/she will disable gps and wifi. So there is nothing you can do about it.
First thing i did on mine was installing cerberus. You can never be sure.

Not to mention that if you unlock and root your device you can install Cerberus as a system app so even if they do a factory reset Cerberus is still installed and active so you can track it. In this case only the thief smart enough to actually flash it with a new ROM will be free and clear. I don't remember how much it cost...I think like $1-2 was it, so even if it only gives you a 10% change of recovery...isn't that worth a couple bucks?
Dang. I know exactly how you feel. Hang in there; it may yet re-surface. I realize the almost hopeless optimism in saying that, but I`ve had my faith in humanity restored several times when losing stuff in the past. Let us know what happens! ps: Make Cerberus the first app you install with the new tab (or the old one, if/when it`s returned). good luck!
I talked to the big guy at the dealership and he told me they have security cameras there, so Monday they are going to look at them. Should be easy considering I was there for work and have my exact time there down to 2 hours.
Although I'm not sure what knowing who did it would do for me unless it was an employee... which they could fire them... but it was probably a hobo or a customer. Perhaps then one of the sales guys may know of them and hopefully has their address or something.
I haven't had any emails from those security apps that I tried...
I was thinking after I bought my new one that no only am I out the tablet but the $20 case and $20 SGP SP. So almost $300.
My mother-in-law suggested to claim it on my homeowners insurance because I had a tree fall on my home and I already paid my deductible for the year (which might be per incident). I have yet to call them yet. Probably do that Monday too.

Just got in my dev edition M7 earlier today (04-22-13).
Phone is very beautiful, well built and almost seem perfect until a few minutes ago whiles I was laying in bed playing around with it, when I notice the long light-bleed coming from the lower right corner.
I was like NOO this is not happening!!! After having waited for so long.
It is really annoying because of the length and brightness of the bleed.
Tomorrow I will definitely call up HTC or LetsTalk for a replacement.
See pics.
Hope no one else has had this major defect.

Wow that's pretty bad. I am sure you will get a replacement. That really sucks though.
I am going to use this phone for a month before I unlock the bootloader. Just in case something happens and it's defective.

i just checked mine and i do not have any bleed. I also played the HD dark knight trailer and no bleed confirmed. *phew* ....
Did you drop it or bang it against something. In that last picture I can't tell if that's a smudge or a chip in the glass on the edge of the display in the area.
No. All I did was unbox the phone, took some photos of the phone to post online. Then I immediately put it inside a clear case. Next I went through the setup and only when I was passed that I noticed the light from the corner.
It was handled like a new born baby from the moment it came out from the box .

Def get it replaced that's not normal at all there should be no light bleed at all. What is your batch # build date? Should be like FA345 or like SH etc it's on the box that the unit came in on the bottom part.

Time will tell; it looks like more and more people are complaining about case separation issues as they use them for a few days/weeks.
I'll tell you what I saw: a demo at a store that had been handled a lot (no scratches or dents, so probably not abused), but it looked like hell -- the case was coming apart all around the seams!!
HTC has compromised a lot of things in the last couple of years, and I think they have really compromised build quality now. It might look good brand new, but they don't seem to hold up under normal use like their earlier phones did.
We'll see.
Well I got a prepaid RMA from letstalk and it left this morning for Thursday delivery. Lets see how long the wait will be for a replacement to get out and if an RMA depends on preorders vs stock availability.

I did a cross shipment this morning too. Did you get your shipping e-mail? I was told that they wouldn't know when they would ship mine out.
I don't know what a cross shipment is, but the phone was sent back to letstalk today. Process the RMA directly from their website. It's due for arrival on Thursday. Guess until then I wouldn't be hearing from them. But I will call once I know they receive the defective phone.
Just got off the phone with them after waiting over an hour, they made the shipping label yesterday and will be shipping overnight today. So I should have the replacement by tomorrow.
Called a few minutes ago and the lady said they would have to charge me again if they did a cross shipment. In any case there isn't any phones available until Friday she informed me.
Update: 04-26-2013
Was on a chat with rep from letstalk about my RMA, and was told the following ...
Candra: The exchange order will be processed after the rest of the preorders are being fulfilled once the phones are in stock.
Bernard: serious? that's not fair. I had my pre-order from the 6th ... now I must wait much longer because I received a defective phone?
Candra: We still have orders from the 5th that haven't been fulfilled. I do apologize but these orders do need to be processed first.
Well, from the looks of things, it seems like I might get my replacement in a few weeks!
Just snatched brand new sealed nook hd+ from craigslist, and it turns out I can't register it because its blacklisted (what I gathered from web chat with b&N). I tried to call b&N but they are offline...
I probably could still load cm10 on it, but it would be nice to register for warranty first...
anyone had similar experience? some advice?
The guy I got it from looked innocent, and said he has a ipad4 so he does not need the nook (he said it was a gift). Again, the device was still shrink wrapped, so I'm curious how could it have been blacklisted due to the theft, unless it was stolen from a store?
what do you guys think?

It was factory sealed (you cant do it so nicely without the right equipment). Besides, everything is spanking new (even that protective layer they put on the screen was perfect). Also not a single fingerprint on the screen, which I can't archive no matter how nicely I clean up my other nook hd)
I'm going to call b&n tomorrow and try to clear this up. I'm debating whether I should ask the guy for the name of who bought it for him as a gift. I'm unsure, because it might spook him to change simcard or something, and all I have right know is his cell #.
putting cm10 is another option, but I'd rather clear this first.

its the 2012 32 gb version. Is it fixable??? most of the screen doesnt work, i can touch the notification area and it responds, but no where else, so it is basically inoperable. I google some stuff about replacing the digitizer or the screen? or both? how would i know what I need?

hmm thats a nice idea, i might find something like that locally here. well I ended up going on craigslist and looking at local ads of nexus 7, and I saw someone selling a nexus 7 16gb for $100. Its fraud because it was suggested above that insurance gets placed on the device AFTER there has been damage to the device. It was suggested that the insurance company wouldn't verify the condition...it's exactly what it sounds like...fraud.
