I would say try to work for : AceDroid ROM.
Click here to jump into the pool.
I practically noticed only 5 percent drop over night even after keeping wifi ON. :good:
Confirmed Deep Sleep State is ON through CPU Spy.

External Power

Hey guys is it possible that galaxy mini works on external power like a laptop? (without battery)
Thanks for info.
You can plug in the charger and use it with your battery...but why would you want to do that?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately for you, it's not possible

So that my battery wouldnt heat so mutch... I know that if battery gets warmer than 40 degrees celsius it shortens its lifetime.
Then keep using your battery and charger alternatively.

It seems that it doesnt work with WiFi too... That would be cool . its supposed to activate data once in 30 minutes when the phone is in idle mode as i read. Unfortunately my data plan ran out. And couldn't test it with 3g

Use the directions in this thread. It's in the T mobile thread but works for the AT&T version also. I did it last night and noticed a big difference.

Yes that is easier. I like to do things myself so that I know what is actually changing so that I learn a little more. But either way works.
