Is it possible to disable the vibration while the sound of the phone is on?
I am using stock and have looked at all the settings but I could not find it.

not all of it only if you go through all the sound settings and disable it one by one
or get root and add custom kernel

I think I could provide a non root solution. But it would create 2 types of settings app on your phone. Not 100% sure on this though...
What is you solution?

Isn't there an option in settings>display and buttons and gestures to set a capacitive button as menu? I'm running a port of the One on my HTC Evo LTE, but don't know if official gas it or if our devs just threw it in. I know it existed in the sense 4 software.

Root your phone, unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, then install XPOSED framework and install the menu button mod. Otherwise install a custom Rom with the setting enabled.
Or if you don't want to do any hacking, wait for HTC to possibly fix this.

Try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2200518
Press and hold and force cloce
Should be good until next reboot
But it is a reallky handy feature.
Limits cpu to 1.1 I beleive and can clamp down on brightness

Seems like bluetooth handsfree to me.
That's for hearing aids? I don't know how to turn it off. It may be your bluetooth device is registering as a hearing aid possibly?
goto your settings and then call settings and uncheck hearing aid.

Why have they disable this option
You could click this off in the app manager before and now it's greyed out
Anyone able to get rid of this row?

May be we need a seperate mod to disable it from notification list
No idea why they have disabled in 4.3
Annoying that this has to be hacked out

Try using Jmz Power Saver from the Play Store
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
I doubt that app will be able to control the CPU as the built in version
They just need to allow the user to get rid of the icon notification
The apps only use is to simply hide the power saver notification icon.

This app needs a rooted device
I'd rather not

Hi guys,
I really do love my HTC One but the vibration intensity is way too strong and I'd like to reduce it. I'm running Android 4.4 and can't find a setting to change it. Furthermore I couldn't find an app to get the job done. Can you guys help me out on this one?
CHeers
Trickster MOD app has this setting.

Is there a way to reduce it without having to root my phone?
It's a kernel function, so no, not without root.
