Was wondering if anyone is able to see emoji on their HTC One. I'm coming from Evo LTE and was able to see them on that phone, thought everyone was able to see emoji on JB devices

You see the little black emojis in the stock apps but not apple style. If you want apple style you have to download a third party sms client like Handcent.
All I see now is a square, no emoji. Didn't need second party app on Evo LTE. Is there a way to add the emoji fonts to system

Hmm I can see them on mine system wide

Are you rooted & if so what Rom are you using. I'm using Viper's Stock Rom on the newest build

I'm also interested in this. All I see is squares for the messaging app. Using CleanRom 2.5

I only now noticed that only some emoji work, all the characters aren't recognized. Guess that's just how it is with android phones. Better than nothing

I think I could provide a non root solution. But it would create 2 types of settings app on your phone. Not 100% sure on this though...
What is you solution?

Isn't there an option in settings>display and buttons and gestures to set a capacitive button as menu? I'm running a port of the One on my HTC Evo LTE, but don't know if official gas it or if our devs just threw it in. I know it existed in the sense 4 software.

Well, it is is not there..

Guys, anyone?

Root your phone, unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, then install XPOSED framework and install the menu button mod. Otherwise install a custom Rom with the setting enabled.
Or if you don't want to do any hacking, wait for HTC to possibly fix this.

I'm using Nova Launcher. Can I completely disable or freeze sense 5? Sorry for the nominees. First Android in two years. All the tips and tricks are slowly coming back.

Not yet I don't think, theres more to sense than just the launcher. I'm sure theres a senseless rom somewhere in the works.
Thank you. I like how minimal sense is but the screen is pretty big and I love customizing the heck outta my phones. Having control over things like icons, icon arrangements, and the grids on the screen.

Hi
How can I have the HTC one blinkfeed on my device if I am using the go launcher and not the sense 5?
I am using a rooted Revolution 12.1 HD ROM 4.2.2
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I'm pretty sure you have to use the stock launcher to have blinkfeed. I may be wrong though

Is there a way to increase the number of row in the homescreens? I can use only 4 and lot of space are left behind. As well the icons looks small for that big screen. The only way is to use a custom launcher but then the blinkfeed are lost

Revolution is more a stock based ROM that requires manual modifications.
ROMS like TrickDroid or ViperOne both have the ability to do both of what you are asking built into the ROM.
You can change the grid size, and also you could remove Sense and using another launcher while keeping full blink feed capability.
Check them out:

Hi,
I'd like to change my recent apps from HTC style to AOSP style. I remember editing a line in my build prop to achieve this a few months back bit cant remember the exact details.
I know you can do it through xposed, but would rather avoid that route.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I really like the stock keyboard on the htc One and was just wondering if it was possible that someone uploaded an .apk file of it and I can install it on my note 3?
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
I do not think it will work outside of Sense. You are welcome to try, though.
Yeah it won't even install. Figured I'd try though. Thanks
