tried many times
I tried many times too, triangle away then flashing I9305XXALI9_I9305OLBALI8_SIN.zip for I9305 4.1.1 Singapore version, but still saying modified.
-When i checked with KIES, instead of flashing ROM from SIN (Singtel), its showing MM1 (Mobile 1).
Note: double confirmed my download of the said firmware
Initially it's showing Device Status: Normal but after a reboot of the phone, it shows MODIFIED.
So, this could be caused by the bootloader i believe. its using the new bootloader.
Can anyone please post a link to download the old bootloader of I9305 international
Thank you

How to check or change CSC on Galaxy S2 / S3
In your phones keypad dial *#272*Device IMEI#
-another popup dialog box will appear, just select your network provider and it will reboot and configure your device again.

[Q] Change CSC and official updates behavior

Hello,
I bought a Galaxy Note almost 2 months ago and I have a question about CSC.
The Note is KKA KK5 KK5 having XEF (France) CSC.
I tried to access *#272*IMEI# and I am able to change to whatever CSC I want (multi csc).
I know that if I change it, it will hard reset. My question is if updating then via OTA or Kies, the update service will understand I need first a Wipe Rom and then an incremental update (if any)?
Or I must flash it via Odin an official Rom to align CSC and PDA+PHONE?
Do that invalidates my guarantee?
Thanks in advance!

Flashing stock Roms via Odin will not invalidate your warranty.
If you change your CSC you will be getting normal OTA/Kies updates for the country you set.
Huh. I did that on mine to see what mine is set to and I get an error that says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"?

Ok, but even if after factory reset I'll get a KKA/KK5/KK5 e.g. DBT or AUT...
It will understand to update to the first Wipe rom of DBT or AUT region?

I think unless you do not change Geographic region should be ok I think...
changing CSC
but remember if u change the csc it should be equal to the rom u use, or u wont get the updates trough KIES.. if ur CSC dont match the installed ROM then KIES wont reqonise your phone and u wont be able to update via KIES

So you all confirm that changing CSC does not let the phone to automatically get updates for the associated country, but it is necessary to manually put a stock ROM via Odin matching one of the existing couples (Rom, CSC)?

My phone has the xtc csc with no voice assisted google maps navigation. Is it based on the CSC or where I'm physically located?
I am unsure. I know my unlocked came with a CSC code for the UK but Google Maps Navigation works there so I am not sure.
Honestly I would say you might be best just making a back up of your phone and trying it. If it does not work change your CSC back to what you have now that you know works.
I will go out on a limb and say that I have not read anything from anyone saying changing their CSC stopped any google services that operate in the country that they live in. This could be from picking up your IMEI number or the carrier (IE ATT will not be found in China).
Best of luck.

[Q] CSC Unknown

I installed a rooted rom on my s3 mini and all was good. I then installed a csc changer to check what my csc was, when I seen it was SEB I changed it to BTU because I am in the UK. But when the phone rebooted the csc was "unknown" and the csc changer was showing it blank. My problem now is that I have all my back ups on Kies which now will not see my phone. I have searched, found and tried many solutions to this all to no avail. I tried the original SEB unrooted rom, still csc unknown, I tried various rooted roms and none would let me change the csc no matter what app I used. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I had to go back to stock recovery and then flash firmware again with Odin, then I could set right CSC.

Thanks a LOT, mate!! That´s what I was looking for
Downloaded modem, stock recovery and TWRP now. Unfortunately I couldn´t get the modem back to be shown as it is (after a ROM update modem changed to XXXX ....... since then IMEI was working though, calls were working too but no mobile internet connection) but mobile internet seems to work again now, too... Very curious so far.
Restoring EFS didn´t work but maybe it will work now as CSC is changed back to DBT now or so.. Sometimes flashing Sammy ROMS as PHONE instead of PDA does work (read that in another thread in here).
Thanks again for your help and have a nice evening!
Cheers!

Well the problem is partly solved.. I flashed stock recovery, stock ROM and that modem you can find in tys0n´s signature. Mobile internet is working again but modem still shows XXXX - weird thing ^^
Give it a try in that way. As it seems this is a possibility to get your device working again.
I´ll continue trying and if I find a way to solve it finally I´ll let you know.

CSC code uknown/KOR after flashing original ROM

Hello,
I had a Galaxy S3 Mini i8190N with Android 4.1.2 (AUT).
But this version haved some problems, and i've found Android 4.1.2 (DBT) from april 2013 and just flashed this ROM.
But now says SAMSUNG KIES i don't can't see you're firmware version and Samsung update can not accepted the rules for checking updates.
Now i see that my CSC code is (KOR/Uknown) and not DBT.
How can i set this good? My phone is 100% original, i only just flashed the version from DBT beacause my calling problems and saw that this one was newer!
My phone is not rooted.
Sorry for the bad english.
Greetz,
Marco
PS: The ROM is downloaded from SamMobile en just fashed with ODIN v3.04

Samsung Note 9 will not update 8.1.0

Hi, don't know if anyone can help?
I live in the UK and have a Samsung Note 9 which came from the UAE. The phone will not update and is currently Android version 8.1.0 with security patch dated 01/11/18.
I have tried updating via Samsung Smart Switch.
I have cleared the cache, done a factory reset and checked if the phone is rooted, which it isn't.
I believe the only way to update the android version is to do it manually, can anyone help with this.
The phone is SM-N960F dual sim Serial Number RF8KC1DMFSR
Thanks

I'll give you firmware links for latest android 10 for your model
You can flash via odin tool from pc.
Just go to https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and run a check for the OS for your device. Download it, connect your device to a computer and use Odin to install it onto your device.

Thanks

https://de1.androidfilehost.com/dl/...261759684/N960FXXS5DTB6_N960FOXM5DTB6_XSG.zip
First install Samsung USB mobile drivers on pc

Boot device into download mode
Use latest odin tool to flash
And do wipe data factory reset from stock recovery after flashing to get clean operating system.
Forst boot may take upto 10 minutes so be patient.
Please note
If you flash android 10 you won't be able to downgrade to oreo or pie again.
Good luck.
shouldnt use DTB6 firmware (March update) which was reported to cause some users' fail screens.
there was May update yesterday for N960F ver DTE2.

As far as I understand, your phone has OXM which includes multi CSC, so it doesn't matter which firrmware you can download and flash.
If you have doubt, just install Samsung Phone Info from playstore. In CSC code tab, check what is its original csc.
Use samfirm or frija to download at very high speed.

This is multi csc firmware so don't worry it will detect your sim card and select csc/country code automatically where you live.
Thanks all working
