[Q] About Xperia V Flashing LED - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

I'm Noob in Flashing just a quick question for Xperia users (especially LT25i).
Im flashing using SUS, when pressing the flash keys (Volume Down) the LED starting to light green for a second then the LED suddenly stopped showing but the Flashing is continuous and successful.
Is yours the same when it comes to SUS Flashing? or the LED Light still showing until the Flashing is done.
Just making sure because I think I semi-bricked the unit lately but now it's fine. Sorry for my crappy English. My first android phone BTW.

What are the symptoms on your phone to make you think it is semi bricked? What things on your phone are not working? And what do you mean by semi bricked?
If your phone is working fine then go with the old adage of
If it aint broke, don't fix it.

When reflashing via SUS some error showed up. "please disconnect the phone and make sure the battery is fully charged before trying again. If the problem persists contact support. " (But my battery status is 60%) If i turn it On it only showed black background with a yellow icon, can't remember the details. But reflashing it again from scratched solved the issue, Im just asking about the LED flash thing . Thanks for replying! I think everything is fine. Thanks again. :good:

60% does not mean fully charged, that's why probably why it failed.
secondly if you fixed it, its fixed, don't worry.

Slowly dying diamond. Help.

Hi. Ok, first of all I have done some research on the forum, but I haven't really found any answer for my problem.
I have a Htc touch diamond. And I installed a rom from the forum, i beleive it was the "shine"-rom. However now i gets weird....
The day after, everything was normal, and then all of a sudden my backlight gets really dim. Ok, could be a small bug i thought.
A few hours later it got darker and it was hard to see what was on the display.
And later on the evening it got almost all black. I couldn't quite tell what was what on the display.
The next day, and still, its totally dead. There is no light in the "ring" when i plug in the charger, and i cant get it to show any life.
I have tried everything, left it in the charger for a whole day, swapped battery, reset, hard reset, super hard reset. left it without battery for a day. Nothing.
Help me out. Any ideas?
Ps. There is no warranty on the phone.
Thanks!!
Wow... have not seen this before...
Even now, are you unable to even switch on your diamond? If you can't, don't see any way to revive it. If you can, try to flash another ROM and see if it improves...
How?
How can I flash it again, if I cant even turn it on? hmmm....
Help
Nothing? No idea?
I opened it up, but that didn't shed any major light on the situation....

Can you get it into bootloader? {Hold Vol. down button while pressing power}
If it will go into bootloader, you can flash from there

Nope. He can't even get it to turn on. Don't think it'll be able to boot into bootloader...

It just seems odd that bootloader won't even load. If it was something that damaged the OS then the BL should at least fire up. But, I just re-read everything again & see that there is no mention of Hard-SPL, so maybe it damaged the Boot sector as well.
If he didn't Hard_SPL then: This is a great example as to why you should always Hard-SPL before flashing anything.
If he did Hard_SPL: Then this is one for the medical journals {a disease that no-one's heard of & it's a killer}
Strange
Hi again.
I did actually Hard-Spl. And i have tried different ROM's earlier and I never had any problems.
I dont have a clue what to do, and without any warranty im basicly screwed.
I was thinkin, maybe I could get som spare part? Seeing how the "ring" doesn't even light up when I plug in the charger??
//
When my "ring" didn't light up I had to send the phone back to HTC and they changed the motherboard. Phone wasn't charging or turning on at all.

Need help URGENTLY (phone dead?)

having a strange problem. was having a normal day with my phone, then at some point in the day I tried turning it on and nothing. No matter what I have done the screen just doesn't come on. Here are a ist of things I tried doing.
- Take batterry out for over a minute then try and turn it on. FAILED
- take battery out the plug phone into computer and turn it on. FAILED
- Tried to enter both recovery mode and download mode. FAILED
The phone simply does not respond to any button inputs. Have had the phone for almost a year and ZERO issues. Use the phone lightly and its in top condition.
Any help will be appreciated.
Try a different battery. You have rooted the phone? Give us more info about the phone like custom ROM and what do u suspect to be the probem.
Lorddeff have you heard of sds?

Yh, rooted and all that. Ben rooted from the first day I got it. Using philz safe kernel with the ultimate TW ROM. Never did any funky stuff on the phone. I'm pretty sure that its not from a battery cause I have two of those and I am sure its not from a bad flash or something. My last flash was over a month ago and the phone was working perfectly until it literally just stopped working like 5 mins after the last time I used it.

I have now... and thanks for that link. Looks promising. Though it means I would have to ship my phone out, which I guess is a lot better than doing nothing.

[Q] Xperia T won't boot up..

For some reason my xperia T won't boot up anymore. Its very strange and the second time it happened.
Previous time, after some tries with holding to volume keys while holding the power key, eventually it boot up again, but this time, it
just flashes red. Which means that it is empty. So I plug in the power cable and the red light stops flashing for a second and just turns solid red.
But then it turns off again.
Don't know what to do now. Pc companion obviously doesn't recognize the device since its off.
Last time that I actually fixed the problem, the touchscreen wouldn't work anymore, so I reflashed a very old firmware.
Then it worked again, so I installed the latest cyanogenmod, and had no problems for a few days.
I do think its a firmware issue. I think it actually has to do with the apollo app, or atleast the headphone plug being in use while the phone charges.
I was listening music while the phone was recharging, yesterday, and in the morning this happened. Last time the exact same situation.
Any Ideas? Not planning on spending money right now :fingers-crossed:
Leave it on charge for a long time and then try the hard reset.
okay. I'll try that. Already tried hard resetting few times now.

Didn't help. Left it recharging for hours, but when I try to boot it, it just gives me a red light that blinks 3 times. Maybe it is the battery or the usb,
but its still weird. Sudden death? Hard resetting still won't work..

Lots of people leave it for 24 hours
I absolutelly do not recomend my solution untill everything else failed.
So here it goes:
When my phone was totally unresponssive (soft and hard boot reset failed), i dissasembled the phone and disconnected the battery and what solved my problem. I didn't know it was possible until i did it myself and this is the only reason i'm telling you: it's the very last thing but it's an option!

hmm, I want to try this. I just can't figure out how to open it. I saw a dissasembly vid on youtube, but when I get the first screw out, I can't seem to snap it open.. Im getting a bit desperate. Already went to the store, and they want to charge 45 euro's for a new battery+dissasembly.
Best way is to find the plastic tool it is shown in the video. But i had none so it takes some gentle force starting from the top left and then right to the key point that is the corner . It has to snap a little. Any metallic tools will damage the plastic and will leave traces. The tool might be replaced with a guitar feather if a friend of yours has one

If you are in a bootloop I suggest you have the wrong kernel
Just flash a stock ftf in flashtool

Notification LED stuck on

Hi, I have a problem with my HTC One. Yesterday, when I was using my phone, I realised the LED light was stuck on red. I've restarted my phone and the issue still stayed. Then, I power down the phone, and the LED light was not showing, but after I turned on the phone, the LED light also turned on. I've tried to wipe my data from the recovery, but the issue still stayed. Then I charged my phone until the green light was turned on, but after I unplugged my phone the red light won't turn off. The phone hasn't been dropped recently. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this? The phone is not under warranty. Thanks in advance.

Afaik, the red LED on HTC's phones is either indicating the phone is charging, low power, overheating condition or some other hardware problem.
Would recommend you to factory reset first to determine if its not software related (bug from an app for example) Anyway, this is usually the first thing HTC told you to try when you call them for support.
If the issue persist after a factory reset, post back here.
Don't forget to backup your files before the reset.

I'm using Android Revolution HD 84.0 and ElementalX-m7 18.0.
----
Is there any mod that can completely disable this freaking red light/charging light? It's annoying. And one more thing that makes me mad is my warranty was just expired a month ago.

I have returned completely to stock, but the issue still persist. If there is no other way, I'll send my phone to repair.
I went to HTC service center and they said minimum cost to repair is $100 USD and if the problem is on motherboard, it will cost more than $200. I don't know if it worth it.
Should I send my device to repair?

[DONE] Sony T - Need Assistance recovering from brick

Hallo,
i have been trying recovering my brother's Sony Xperia T for some time now.
Today i decided to create a thread because i have absolutely no clue how to proceed and i need some assistance.
Here is what was before the brick:
I installed the latest snapshot build cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-mint.zip from download.cyanogenmod.
My brother used it with pleasure until experiencing some minor issues like icons dis- and appearing again. But thats not the main issue.
The main issue:
Then one day the phone got into the state, where it is not rebooting correctly.
Unfortunately my brother can't remember what exactly happened, but he thinks the battery was low.
So this is not an uncommon issue as we now.
What i tried to solve the issue:
I basically tried every solution i found related to this problem and especially focused on the "[GUIDE] Recover 2012 and newer XPERIAs from SOFT-brick".
Yesterday i did the following.
I removed the battery and waited 5 minutes.
Then i inserted the battery again.
As im able getting into fastboot mode i flashed the boot.img of cm-12-20150715-NIGHTLY-mint before trying to start the phone again.
That worked fine again, as i already tried to solve the issue by flashing a new kernel from a cm build. But this time i removed the
battery before that to release all the energy in the chips.
After flashing i waited an hour before starting the phone.
So i pressed the start button and the red led starting blinking twice again of course.
Between the first contact to the issue and yesterdays try to solve the problem, i also tried the hard and soft reset, holding the power button with the rubber and stuff.
Maybe havent done all my "solutions" in the right order? I dont now.
The current state:
After the disappointment from yesterday i connected the phone to a wall charger for the night, where it is still connected right now.
I noticed an interesting thing after my latest experiments...
So the phone seems to be switching between red led and green led now. But thats a thing that i noticed before the first start after the flash yesterday i think.
There is definately no hope for me that it will boot correctly when i press the start button.
But maybe that has a meaning to you.
Here is what i noticed right now while writing the post:
So after switching from red to green led i looked at the circle.
The green led is lighting for 5-8 seconds and turning off.
After 2 seconds its turning on again.
This i repeating about 8 times until the red led is lighting again.
The red led i lighting for minutes.
What is important:
While recovering from this annoying state it is important no to delete the user data from my brother. There is some personal stuff he would rly like to keep.
Recovering this data is more important to him than saving the phone.
I would like to solve both issues.
Do you have any idea what to try. Please take my hand and guide me.
Thank you!
