Bricked Galaxy Ace

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I don't think so... Anyway I had a perfectly working Galaxy Ace coming with stock Android 2.3.4. So I tried rooting it, and I did see the superuser icon but I couldn't apps into the SD card. So I ignored it and downloaded a custom rom and entered recovery mode, wiped data and cache first and rebooted. Then I installed the rom in recovery mode and it said installation successful but when I rebooted I got stuck at the "GALAXY ACE" page and I noticed a weird small blue triangle at the top left hand. And nothing happens. Please help it's nearly brand new! My parents don't know yet... If there is a way to use the com and download the stock rom please provide step by step instructions that was my first smartphone so much help would be appreaciated!

Am not an expert but i would take battery out then put back in holding volume down key home key and power key at sametime to put into download mode then flash your stock rom via odin to get it back running again
have you done a datwipe in cwm after installing? try that first

Hey there!
Before We get to ODIN
Start phone in recovery mode ( Center Button + Power Button ) and then:
- Do a Factory Reset
- Do Wipe Cache
Then Reboot
If he boots great!
If not and still remains at ACE screen do this:
1st - Download Odin 4.38 (http://www.4shared.com/rar/UqBhp5Qd/Odin_Multi_Downloader_v438_www.html)
2nd - Download Cooper.ops (http://hotfile.com/dl/138852983/36a55ea/Cooper_v1.0.ops.rar.html)
3rd - Go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ and search firmware for your s5830
Then choose the rom that suits you best (download one from your country if possible)
After the above steps are done open odin
At "option" select - "One Package, Auto-Reboot And Protect OPS"
At "select OPS" - choose "Cooper.ops" (The file you´ve downloaded)
At bottom is "One Package" - In here put the file of the room you´ve dowloaded
Finaly put phone in download mode (Vol. Down + Power Button) and connect it to your PC.
Wait for odin to recognize your phone, a yellow sign will light up, ( you need samsung kies in your computer so odin recognize your phone)
And then hit "Start"
Wait about five minutes at the end your phone should reboot by itself
And that should be it
If your phone reboots but stuck ate samsung boot animation.
Remove Battery
Put it back again
Turn your phone into recovery mode ( Center Button + Power Button )
Do Wipe Factory/Reset and Wipe cache, reboot,
and your good to go!

the blue triangle isn't this CWM 5?
or if can you get to recovery mode try flashing the original stock recovery first

then install a stock rom with Odin
and boot from the stock recovery to fix the phone boot
if recovery is working you should fix the phone easily with stock rom.

installing a stock rom will install the stock recovery by itself!
so no need to flash stock recovery before flashing stock rom!

Honestly i cannot tell!
But probably the custom rom wasn't compatible!
Or during the rom istallation something went rong
... only suposing

wellll some custom rom require pre installation of another rom... like INFINITY ICE CREAM SUNDAY they require CM& to be pre installed....
so i would suggest u to reflash 2.3.4 on ur ace using odin...

For your information,icsunday does not need cm to be pre installed...what you said was completely wrong..

I mean a real link... The only link I see is to hotfile and for some reason I CAN'T DOWNLOAD T.T

I've made you a full tuturial!
in there was a link to samfirmware! In samfirmware is all the roms you could ever need!
Keep trying hotfile!
Cause of download limitations sometimes it takes a bit before you can download anything

Alrighty thanks... Cuz on hotfile I pressed download they told me the file was downloading but I couldn't find anything. But thanks nonetheless

[Help]Galaxy Ace 5830i W/o Recovery

Hi all,
i was tryng to install a new modded rom, (Jillie Bean beta2 Ace i.zip)
All went good and phon was working normally. After the first reboo i have the phone locked on 1° screen (samsung galaxy original boot screen) and im not able to go on Recovery or DL mode ad so i cant use Odin I have try many time.
Its possible to reinstall the boot and revive my phone?
ty in advance for any help

1st. Why don't ya wrote this post in my thread ? 2nd. This problem is propably from Kernel with RZrecovery (ext4 file system not rfs). 3rd. I'll change this kernel to latest with stock recovery next time.

Fast boot cant find the phone. phone is stuck on a screen after 2 sec i hit power on button... seems bootloader ****ed

3) put usb in your pc.
4)put power button and volume + and - and put the usb in your thone
5)put + to contineu .
6) and if you gen in downloading mode open from odin the in pda.tar file
7) rebbot your thone.
(if your pc don't find your device install the sumsung KIES ).

lol man, maybe im not clear. phone is stuck on boot loader. I cant go on download mode or recovery.

You can force an ODIN flash by following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970 I have a phone that couldnt enter recovery or download mode and i can verify following these instructions worked for me.

Strange, we have the same phone..... For you it bricks (hard brick), for me it's stuck on kernel boot logo (I can enter recovery and download mode), and for Alucard it just works !!!!!

1. Pull the battery out

4. Connect your usb to a PC and phone
5. Insert your battery
6. Flash any rom
3) Use a usb jig ( You can find a guide online)
4)Samsung Service Centre (just tell something like you put an alarm at night and in the morning it wasnt working blah blah...)

you should flash rom that support your phone type only..

Reflashing the stock rom should solve the problem

i ve tried the solution number 2 , my phone was detected by my PC and also by odin but the screen still black, i have tried to flash a rom anyway but no success though

Was your phone in download mode when you tried it? Also (im not sure if it matters) instead of any rom try flashing stock rom (given in 1st option)
If your phone is still under warranty, get a new one from samsung: that is the best option.

This has been said over a hundred times in forums. The SGA and the SGAi dont have much things in common (except for the name ). They have different builds, bla bla...
So flashing ur phone with Ace ROMS might brick you Acei. So flash your mobile with Acei ROMs. I think this shall solve ur problem.
Edit: Well the thing in question was CWM, not ROMs. But still, the answer is same.

In the APP there was a tab "ClockWorkMod" and i pressed on that tab.
The tab openned window with 2 options 1.REBOOT 2.CANCLE.
I pressed on REBOOT and my phone stopped to act.
Since the phone stopped to work and the recabery.
WHAT i`m need to do?
Someone told my to put a new ROM but I don`t know how do that.
You can give my ROM (version 2.3.6, GT-S5860) and ODIN guide?

1º Flash a fresh stock rom via Odin:

2º Getting root, flash this file via stock recovery (shutdown your phone and push HOME+POWER button until you can access to stock recovery mode)>>> select "apply update from SD card" and flash this file ROOT
Boot intro android and then shutdown again and go to stock recovery again (HOME+POWER button to access)
3º CWM recovery >>> select "apply update from SD card" flash this file CWM 5.0.2.6. FIX
Physical buttons
VOLUME+/- to move through recovery mode
HOME to acept install the select file
POWER to go back
DONE!

how to downgrade gti9070 ddupl8 jellybean

When I downgrade my gti9070 from Indian jb to GB then it stuck at Samsung galaxy s advance named logo and no recovery .plz help and give another way to downgrade it.....:crying:

It should boot into recovery or download mode .
Then only it could work , try if any of the below mentioned steps sort it out for you.
1 : batter pull-up and then waiting 1 min then reinserting and REBOOT.
2: try getting into recovery mode if you are successful then just clean cache/dalvic - REBOOT.
2:try getting into download/ODIN mode and then try re-flashing the stock GB from ODIN(use the specific firmware as provided by manufacture it contains kernel and other information related for I9070) HERE ARE THE ORIGINAL FIRMWARES you`ll need a signup on sammobile to download don`t worry it doesn`t take much time but it will come in handy next time
You can try adb sideload booting GB i think its somewhere in thread just search for it .
BUt you`ll need to boot into recovery first for it to work,

well if you can go to download mode , and want to downgrade to GB , flash the last one.
2015-08-10 India pda I9070DDLD4 csc I9070ODDLD4 .

download odin`s latest version just google it ,
and PDA = PA in latest odin .
also check in developer settings are ON then allow android debugging and allow mock locations checked ok.

If you have an SD card inserted, power off, remove the card, and power on again. A corrupt card can sometimes cause problems.
Take battery out wait for few minutes then re-insert it and try booting into recovery by holding all three keys simultaneously (VOL UP + HOME + POWER) until you feel sort of vibration ,or repeat the process try getting into download mode by pressing and holding (VOL DOWN + HOME _ POWER ) buttons ... .. i hope your phone is not bricked yet ,
meanwhile wait for other people for their suggestions.
