1. Don't bump threads
2. It'll happen when it's officially out. it's a leak at the moment so no one officially has 4.2.2 yet

Trying everyday but no updates available. Was wondering if anyone has received the 4.22 update
OTA with a Developer Edition?

No update 4.2.2 available for Dev Edition now. It will be released in one week more.

There's no official 4.2.2 update full stop at the moment, it's leaks only

Thanks, I am reading on other forums that some people have received the OTA of 4.22.
Just as I thought it was not true.......... This will in fact be an OTA right?
Will the Developer phones receive the update first?
Thanks again

Unlikely as it's not an unbranded phone in the true sense of the word as it's doesn't have an HTC CID, it has Brightstar (or something like that)

BS_US001.
No OTA yet.

I really expected the Dev Edition to have received the 4.2.2 update by now. Not sure what's taking so long being that the device was launched 2 months ago.
hmm

I was under the assumption that the Developer Edition Phones would be the first to get
any OTA update. Case in point the last HTC update was received OTA by the Developer
Edition first. Some phones still do not have that update yet.
Am I wrong?

That update was the same to go the the EU unbranded handsets but as it was newer it got a higher build version. Just because one region gets x.xx.xxx.16 doesn't mean all of them will as not all of them will need it

None of the HTC One's have 4.2.2 yet. There are custom ROMs on the leaked version but nothing official so until the unbranded handsets get 4.2.2 no one will
So today I received the 4.4 KitKat OTA on my unlocked HTC one and was wondering if it possible to switch run time to ART? Is this developer option available on the Android 4.4 Sense 5.5 Unlocked HTC One?

The option is hide
It's a decision by htc...
As mentioned by Guich above, HTC haven't made the option visible.
There's a mod which will enable it here but, judging by the comments in there, it doesn't work yet. I definitely suggest keeping an eye on that thread as I doubt it will take long before it's working correctly

Noob question. If I unlock the bootloader of my stock Sprint HTC One currently running Sense 5 and Android 4.3, could I receive an OTA update for Android 4.4 like the unlocked Developer Edition does? Basically is there anything I can do to retain Sense and update to 4.4 ahead of Sprint's schedule? Thanks.

No and no. You don't want to change your CID, it's what people at the international forum do to receive faster updates(debrand), cause if you flash a GSM ROM you'll brick your phone.
All you can do is wait till someone ports it to Sprint(@gruesomewolf has a working ROM), or wait till Sprint releases the official update

Today the HTC One Sprint started receiving the 4.4.2 update, sounds strange given that the Developer Edition and the Unlocked devices are still on 4.4. Any news on the 4.4.2 update for the Dev Edition?
it's being pushed to my supercid

If you are able to save the update.zip or grab the URL, could you please share it? I have already updated but I need the recovery.img to flash -or if you can upload/send me the recovery.img? Thanks in advance!

On the hardware side, both phones are exactly the same except the dev edition have 64gb memory instead of 32gb
Dev edition firmware normally get ota updates faster than others M7 (except this time with Sense 6, Canadian carriers released the ota a few days before). The dev edition is also bootloader unlocked out of the box so no need to unlock the bootloader trough htc dev and loose your warranty.
