[Q] Rooted my Xperia SP and lost IMEI

So i rooted and flashed custom rom Trinity on my SP, then realized i was getting no network signal and when i checked IMEI status it was blank along with my baseband. I did backup my rom but to internal sd which wiped when i factory reset(i know it should have backed it to external). This is my first sony handset root outside of my usual HTC.
I tried relocking bootloader and installing original firmware but still no luck with getting my imei back.
I do know my original imei so is there any way i can reflash it?? Any assistance would be really appreciated...

My guess would be to get the phone to Sony and probably pay for it...

Reflash stock ROM via Sony Update Service, see my knowledge database in my sig
To see if it works.

Thanks all, suppose i will end up sending for repair. Tried updating via sony companion but it said that it was up to date already. I was going to try and change update version via build.prop but not sure what numbers to change so the software will update with sony companion.

With Sony Update you could select reflash and factory reset it

Yes tried that too, it says something "Sony does not have any software updates for your phone"
even after i flashed generic DE .254 firmware

The SEUS just reflashes stock rom if you want to or it will update to the latest firmware available. If you had any custom rom installed it would remove it and reinstalled the orignal fw.
Normaly you would be able to get your IMEI back.. What does *#06# say?

*#06# comes back as blank, baseband is unknown, phone state: out of service

Indeed, reflash full stock ROM and try to see if you IMEI comes back.. If not you need to get to a repair centre.

but 254 is latest firmware u need to downgrade it or change the line build prop.

Left my SP in to see if it can be repaired, hopefully they can sort it, will update when I get it back

Well got phone back today, no luck with reflash. Didn't get any other details but it didn't cost anything.
Anyone know another way of flashing imei.

This SP is a prototype with 0044 imei, wonder if that has something to do with not being able to get imei back after flashing custom rom. Wonder if i could sell on ebay. It said under back cover "prototype build not for resale". If i post on ebay do you reckon sony would pull the sale down..??

well I still got this rooted unlocked so, have a new huawei p6 but not sure what to do with the sp with blank imei and baseband

hello guys, i am lucio
today's morning i wake up too late because my xperia z i'ts not on without reason o.o
i try to turn on but gives me a bootloop. after two hours of bootloops I flash the XZ with the original t-mobile .FTF and after that the XZ only do 1 vibration and that's all. =Soft-Brick
help me guys, the XZ is my daily-usage phone
any solution?

Is the bootloader locked? If it's locked try to repair it with pcc.

i flash many .FTF's and the XZ make a bootstall but that's all

Try to repair it using SEUS or Flashtools, i think SEUS is best solution. It looks like you need to wipe all your user or system data, because it's not just bootloop. Just download this awesome tool, connect your phone in flashmode and if there is no new update just tick repair and let it be.

guys i did exactly like on the video and sony pcC doesn't detect my c6603. i try to repair anyway but sony pcC says "no new software update "

Try it with Sony Update Service. That should work. Just download the program on the Sony website.

[Q] No idea how to start an update HELP PLEASE

hello guys im new here and feel stupid to ask this, im not too good with computers and stuff and i really dont know how to start an update my xperia Z to 4.4 kitkat manually, i searched for it but no help because there are many things and versions etc so it got complicated for me, can someone help me? all i know that i got 4.3 update on my xperia Z that is 6603 model

Just Install Sony PC Companion (Download from Sony). Put USB Cable between your Xperia Z and PC and then start PC Companion Program. The Program search automatically for newest Firmware for your phone and then just Update. that's all.

i bought the phone from Germany, but i am now in Jordan and no it is not locked to any operator

you might wait for official update in your region
or
flash an ftf

For Germany still Android 4.3 or Version 10.4.1.B.0.101. My Xperia also from Germany.

So it means that the only way you can update to kitkat is by flashing a ftf using a flashtool or you still need to wait till your region release an update.

I try to reinstall my software at xperia zr via pc companion and it shows me this message,''THERE IS NO SOFTWARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR PHONE'',i have rooted my phone,is this a promblem,because i had contact with sony support and said to me that if i cant repair my phone via pc companion there is a damage in my phone.Any suggestions.Please help me,thank you.

Try using flashtool to flash a FTF. The kernel will be reinstalled and this is very likely to fix your phone.

And where can i find my original kernel for 4.4.2 kitkat for xperia zr?Thank you.

Basically i want my phone looks like when i bought it.Because i have rooted and deleted some important applications.This solution will make my phone like a new one?

yes. use flashtool and ftf of your choice. 4.3 or 4.4.2. your phone will look like out the box

Nope, that means u cant unlock bootloader.. If u want to repair ur phone then use Sony Update Service instead of PC Companion.. Or search & download 4.4.2 firmware ftf file & flash it using flashtool...

My original promblem is that i cant proceed to software reinstall via pc companion and not even update service.I get a message that says ''there is no available software for your phone.Why this happens can you answer me please?

Coz, u have the latest firmware installed on ur phone.. After that msg click on the "repair ur phone software/ reinstall ur phone software" & PCC or SUS will start repairing ur phone..

Of course and i choose the message repair.But the promblem is still the same,i told you i got this message by both softwares,

DETAILS:
THE UPDATE SERVICE OF SONY DOENST HAVE SOFTWARE FOR YOUR DEVICE.

Like 5 times brother,both of softwares.I know that i can flash the kernel via Flashtool,but why the softwares cant help me?This is my promblem.Is a promblem that i bought the phone from a store ay hong kong via ebay?

So what u r saying is that the PCC is not recognizing your phone when connected and thats why u r not able to repair it.
can u post a screenshot of it?
Have u tried posting this question on talk.sonymobile.com forum? may b someone from Sony support find solution for it.

I didnt meant that sony shows me a message that says we dont recognize your device,the original message that i get from pc companion is this http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-S-SL-acro-S/cannot-repair-from-pc-companion/td-p/506961.My phone is Xperia ZR and i run 4.4.2 kitkat.Maybe this version is not available for the time at Europe,have you any information about this?

I search at internet and i find that 4.4.2 for c5503 was only released at nordic countris hong kong and taiwan.So i find the nordic version i install it with flashtool and then i tried again to repair my phone via pc companion,before his in the installation of pc companion i select as country region Sweden which is one of the nordic countries,but still i get the same message fro pc companion and i cant repair my phone with the original way.Maybe sony doesnt released yet 4.4.2 kitkat for Greece,because i think that however which sony gives you the right in the installation of pc companion to choose the country region automatiically spots you and select the rights that you have over your device.If im wrong at my thoughts let me know.Thank you,im waiting for your answers.

I searched in Xperia firmware checker tool by IaguCool ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142)
I select Xperia ZR 5503 in left side panel, then i see list of available versions. In that I saw 1274-1395 Nordic combined 10.5.A.0.230/R2D. On extreme right side u have download links.

Did you know maybe what means r3d or r2d at firmwares?And also that files from the program that you recommend me are not ftf right?

The tool is an exe file which checks the firmwares for most Xperia phones and gives latest ftf files for download. r2d and r3d are just different versions of same build. nothing much changed except a line in build.prop

[Q] Hard Reset Xperia V(Lt25i)

Good day guys. Just wanted to know haw to hard reset the xperia v. I have aproblem with my xperia v when i updated the firmware from 4.1.2 to 4.3(Hong Kong because there is no Philippines update for 4.3). It bites to much battery and i don't like it. The reason also why i updated it, its because my phone has no signal, I've read from other blogs that the signal problem might be solve if i will try to update to 4.3. But still it didn't work,still no signal. I'm thinking of hard resetting my phone so that it will go back to the older version witch is 4.1.2, and the firmware is 9.1.A.1.140 because it saves more battery. My phone is not rooted ever. When i updated it to 4.3 i used the flashtool.. So please, if there is anyone here who knows how to hard reset please teach me how. I'm from the Philippines and if there's another way of downgrading to 4.1.2 version, please teach me how to do it.

done doing your advise sir but what happen is that it updates to 9.2.a.2.5 firmware.it didn't go back to 9.1.a.1.140 firmware witch the one my phone using before.

Download a stock 1.140 firmware and flash it with Flashtool

Sir can you guide me where to download the 1.140 firmware? i would like to request the firmware for Philippines version, cause I've tried yesterday the 1.145(Singapore) and it tells me to update the system and now i'm back again to A.2.5 version.
