Since Update came to us last April for our " Jena " ( S6500D ) ..
and no one talk about it ... as i noticed ...
I decided to Flash it and say whats New ..

Flash it with Odin ... Better.
Well I didn't notice any major changes except thoose you already mentioned. Eventrough this is also Bosnian version of ROM so I can use it on my S6500D without a lot of T-Mobile Croatia crap and bloatware.

I don't know why Samsung didn't update all roms with those features I don't think it's a hard thing that to add thooae Samsung features like blocking mode and play music and books and play music not available on play store for gingerbread in my region I think but I still can download it from 1 mobile market and from cm10 and up from play store jelly bean

Some functions of play are not available to all countries. F.e in my country we just use play store for downloading apps. No books, no movies, no shopping. Just apps.

It's same as Russian but it have some Carier based bloatware apps like Who call me and apps like that... Everything else is same as new russian based rom

It's exactly the same as the Russian one, I just tried it a few day's back .. the only notable feature I noticed was the call blocking feature.. evrything else was mediocre.
Btw on top of the Bosnia ROM i flashed Peter's Final ROM .. i forgot that i had the new Bosnian ROM and not the ROM specified in Peter's thread.. so i flashed it and suprisingly it worked just fine, this is day 3 since I'm using my phone with the combination and so far evrything seem's OK - no problem's whatsoever.
Its not necessary at all to change stock rom

please i know all wants new roms and stuff, but taking cm9 rom and "add features" isnt development, you can just make a flasheable zip with those features and that would be better. in my opinion

Did you say everything in chinese? 2nd min thought, i passed a line saying it has English too ?
mmm, I feel that it lags around all the ROM specially when scrolling, touch input isn't always precise, and sometimes unmounts sdcard without telling. It's nowhere near as fast as Zeus though it feels very stable and customizable. Has it's pros and cons, but other roms to date are just better. However, I see a lot of future in this ROM lol
is echo and bad sound in call really fixed????

By PDA select the md5 and start flashing. Do nothing with the DLL

Can anyone explainme what that numbers mean? I always see that in forum's topics of some roms but i dont know what that means. How i know if can i flash that new fw or not?
All i know is I have a S5830MWHLB2 (s5830m) that its the same thing that a s5830i, i can flash roms of that phone in mine, like razordroid, and simplicity, thats all I tested for now.

So, i suppose to flash just the fw for my country and company (xx/12/2012)? or can i flash mexico's fw (xx/01/2103)? If i do the last thing, i will fxck my phone? will loose signal, 3g, etc etc?

Well.On XenonHD there's no gallery , camera app is in chinese , random reboots and fc when you're using rom settings.
So...not so great for me
i tried another rom from the dev - slim for 970 (based on cm10), i had to upgrade the album/gallerie that was FCing and flash the Fix_camera_CM_CWM.zip (thanks to basean)
i added some extra tweaks for the camera and for the battery in build.prop... the pictures quality is now better and
video recording is working fine thanks to the fix but i have a small problem with the sound in the videos after some minutes of recordings i have no more sound in the recoreded videos.
the camera app is in chinese but there are some cool stuff that i liked in the app .. but if you want you can install the ics camera app from the play store.
the rom is working really smooth and stable no fc and no lags ... i have to test the battery life but i think its ok
i think that the camera fix will work also for the other roms based on jb... i dont know if the video sound problem comes from the fix or from the rom itself ....

the problem in the video sound had before correction of camera (also use this rom) but overall it's the best of all CM10

I use quickpic for gallery. Good sound quality.......more time testing it

It's like cm10 with little diferences, battery seems to be like another jb. I like this rom but has some bugs and I have lag after using for some hours.
Option of select brigh presing status bar work better than other roms, very smooth change.
I come back to my IZS backup.
