Saving APN settings - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way I could save my APN settings on my phone so that when I flash a ROM I don't have to set them every time? It gets a little annoying for a flasher like me.

[q] how do i get network settings onto my phone ?

I've finally managed to unlock my phone but now i can't get 3's network settings sent to my phone, i have the settings to add them manually but i haven't a clue where to put them. HELP i really do need step by step button by button instructions. I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000.
Thanks Helpers.
go to
settings
wireless...
mobile net...
APN
manually create one
just be sure, that you have chosen the APN after creation. Don't know why (if there's only one) but you have to tick the circle after creating the APN.
good catch
forgot to mention about that

To create new APN go into settings, and under wireless settings/mobile networks you shall see the option for mobile networks. then you shall see the access point names. open that tab and then press menu key to enter apn settings. which you need to find out from your carrier.
but it usually is ppinternet under option APN and everything else left default.
OF course different carriers have different set up. if all else fails you could always call up customer support. that works well.

Replacing the efs folder is for restoring EMEI. If you've lost your APN, it's easier to just go in and enter it again. Use google to find the correct input for your carrier.
I actually got it restored by going back to ics

Back up your apns with apn back up and restore or just simply screenshots of it then you can enter them manually in case you lose them while flashing roms .

Yea, I'm having the same problem.. pulling down to refresh the feed. Don't have any battery management apps installed either... No idea why it's acting funky (and yea, I have enabled update w/ wifi and data)
*edit*
After eying my One for over 1hr30, Blinkfeed finally updated! However, the update was a few minutes late (said it updated at 7:33, but did not carry 5 or 6 stories that were available at the same time (did a manual update to test)
Try waiting 1hr30 and let me know how it goes! Do wish it updated more often...
I found this on htc.com
Can I change the refresh schedule in HTC Blinkfeed?
QUESTION:
Can I change the refresh schedule in HTC Blinkfeed?
ANSWER:
The phone automatically refreshes every 2 hours on mobile data network or hourly on Wi-Fi. While the phone is charging and connected to Wi-Fi, it refreshes every 15 minutes.
You can refresh HTC BlinkFeed anytime by pulling down the top of the screen. Pull down to refresh is now part of the many gestures supported on HTC Sense 5, such as the Mail app.
why is it on the setting for blinkfeed, Auto refresh is disabled and locked only using wi-fi? I want to auto update it via mobile data. Any suggestions?

Keyguard not disabling on wifi.

I had tried to make my Keyguard go off when I'm at my home wifi, and it simply doesn't work. I'm using tasker and I'm using the same profile as I did on my SGS2 and that was perfect but the HTC One is a bit more trouble some with this setting. If anyone has done this and got it to work successfully please include it. Much appreciated to sharing your time.

I am having the same problem with tasker, I am gonna try older version of tasker!!
I just started using Tasker... and it really works funkily. I have used Tasker itself and Secure Settings, both, to disable the keyguard when I am connected to my WIFi... And sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes while I am using the phone and hit the Android Home button, it actually goes to the Pattern input lock screen.
I am using CM10 with Action Launcher on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16gb GSM
