To answer ur question:
Any firmware from 2.2 froyo till 2.3 GingerBread got Swype keyboard, juz enable in language setting or press setting in keyboard to activate swype.
Any 4.x.x got it by enabling gesture in language / keyboard setting, see screenshot
or find some updated gapps then flash

Rocket from has its own rtl patch as a zip. Just look several lines down in the thread and you will find it. Flash it on top of rocket.
It works flawlessly.

Swype on ICS

Hi to all developers and fellow forum users..... I had tried various custom ROMs based on both GB and ICS and they're all great in their own ways but what I miss is the swype of stock GB which is not seen in ICS ROMs. I know that this is something that Samsung offers along with touchwiz but is it possible to add swype to ROMs based on ICS? That would be simply awesome. Thanks for reading this thread.....

Not really possible in ASOP roms and roms build from source. But If you have roms deved from LPY or LPF you can just install swype.apk in system.
Sign up on swype website and follow instructions there

There you go : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=939571&d=1331329803
Just install that and you'll have Swype for the note with multi language support.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the rapid response. I did go to the swype website and after registration I opened the link sent to my gmail and it downloaded the swype beta installer but after an attempt to install the application it says that this screen size is not supported :-(...So I went back to the website and was suggested to delete both the swype and installer, download the installer again and repeat the process but even after this the problem remains and I could not install swype on my phone....The funny thing is I saw on their website that swype works on galaxy note but I wonder why the installation process failed on my phone....

[q] languages

Hi... Sorry if this topic has been asked before, i wanted to ask about a specific languages for this great galaxy note.
Is there any japanese language pre-installed or built-in into the rom without using the 3rd party apps?
Sent from my GT-N7000
Hm not in my German Rom (LRQ). Maybe you should try an Asian rom?
Sent from my Galaxy Note running ICS
there's no Japanese in the Indian DDLR9 rom as well
Yes, but only in the versions sold in Japan. However, installing Google's IME app for Japanese will give you everything you need.

Alternatively set one handed operation for the dialler, makes it usable again.
