I don't understand how push service is organized... by samsung push service or android stock?
I'm using Pristine Rom as signature.
Is there a way to set up it? sometimes I receives email on gmail app istantanely, sometime I must refresh by hand...

sorry for my bad english
I'm using custom rom as in my signature, all works perfectly but emails on gmail app only some time arrive immediately as a push service must do, some time I receive no email until I sincronize it manually.
I'd like to check push service, control set up but I find nothing about.
This is the first time I've this issue, with previously rom (stock 4.1.2 based or 4.2.2) I've used, never before.

the push you are talking about is samsung push for samsung apps market, its different then your mail push. You dont need samsung push, the Samsung stock apps are good and awesome, but for gmail I recommend gmail.
Now to get true push you need to disable stupid battery saving apps. And not set any account to synch periodically.
Some of the stock settings can also interfere, such as power saving settings that completely shut off your radio when device goes to sleep, so no connection until device awakens. Matter of choice really.
You can also check if fast dormancy (google) is interfering.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to contract the app developer and ask him wether he has updated the app?!

Tried that, no response

When I'm using the stock email app to check email, it has a habit of marking older emails as unread even though I've already read them. Any ideas why it's doing this?

Hi....I had flashed the latest version of philz kernel on my stock jellybean n7000. Following this I have noticed that im not able to send files via wifi direct. I can only receive.
Wifi direct is one feature which I love...pls give some suggestions to get it up and running.
Thanks

As an alternative to WiFi direct I recommend You this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lenovo.anyshare.gps
It's way better than WiFi direct

talking about wi-fi direct alternatives, i would like to ask here for more wi-fi direct alternatives as i am on PA, also should the other person also have same app to be able to transfer through that app? or is that i can use this app and other person can still receive it via wi-fi direct?
Yes, the other person has to have this app installed.
But trust me it's worth of it.
The app works like this: receiver makes an WiFi access point (app does that automatically) and the other phone just connects.
Some other apps :
WiFi file sender
Hoccer (maybe spelled wrong)
Bump.
But as far anyshare is the best
Try it

Nah, I don't think so. Only original wifi direct can connect. I haven't seen any other app to send via WIFI direct.
Just send Your friend (or whoever You want to send files) anyshare and You're ready to go.
While I'm sending from my note to sgs2 the transfer is ~1.3MB/s and it's much easier in use. Wifi direct sometimes has problems with connecting, custom ROMs don't support it well. That's why I have used WIFI direct like 6 times in my life.
Just give it a try
Never knew of these apps...do they work on other phones as well? Thanks ! Will give them a try :beer:

So far all I can use the watch is to make and receive calls, nothing else
You need 4.3 or higher

For full features, you need a touchwiz rom. If you use custom, you get most (limited) features
