Sorry if repost but I haven't found any problems this specific. I have crackly speakers and headset but ONLY if I make an outgoing call, incoming calls are fine, youtube/music is fine, everything else is fine... but when I make an outgoing call, even while it's ringing, there is crackling. Any ideas?

Guys i really need some help here. I have been having this very weird issue with my X1.
When i call people or people call me 95% of the time they cant hear me at all, suggesting a problem with microphone obviously. BUT when i put them on loud speaker (by pressing the loudspeaker on the keypad whilst on call) everything is fine. They can hear me perfectly fine.
Does the X1 have 2 microphone by any chance and 2nd get enabled when on loudspeaker? I have tried several ROMs win6.1 and win6.5 and 4 different radios all with same result.
Anyone got a clue what is going on?
Many thanks in advance
When you use resco audio recorder, reset the phone and the mic should work on your next call.

I have never used resco audio recorder. Its not even installed on my phone.
When I use any audio recording on my phone it seems to cancel out the mic. For some odd reason.
So I did the regi edit and installed it and it works great with my bluetooth headphones but the only problem is when I get incoming and outgoing calls I cant talk. I can hear the person calling me but they cant hear me and when I uninstalled it. Everything was back to normal anyway to fix this?
after i removed the earphone on my samsung galaxy s froyo 2.2 version, i cant hear all incoming calls, outgoing calls and and media. But once i put it on a speaker mode or i will put the earphone back, i could hear everything again... I already did the reboot or re-start and I even tried to update it again but unfortunately, still not working. Please help me. thanks
Hi,
after flashing the 20130606 build of CM10.1 the sound quality from the earspeaker is really bad for outgoing phone calls. Incoming calls als just fine.
Flashing back to an old working build didn't fix the issue. So I flashed the new .307 stock fw without success. The sound is still distorted.
I can't image it's an hardware issue, as incoming calls sound as good as it should be.
Any advice?
I'm having an issue with my Galaxy S6 920A on T-Mobile. If I originate a call in an area of weak signal many times the receiver cannot hear me, as if the mic is not working. Happens about 50% of the time. No problems with the mic, sound recorder is fine, I can make wifi calls and works every time. Incoming calls work most of the time (occasionally, maybe about one out of 10 calls has same issue). The outgoing channel is working because I can send DTMF tones using the keypad and the receiver will hear those, just not any voice from the mic. This is happening on two phones, one with Android 7.0 and one with Android 5.0.1. Also doesn't matter if I use a bluetooth headset, same issue. Can't have a phone where I have a 50/50 chance of my recipient hearing me. Any help would be appreciated.
Can anyone help on this? I'm trying to figure out if I have a physical problem with the phone or if they all work like this. Seems unusual that I would have two phones bought at different stores with different color and they both have this issue. Thanks.
