Hey..after installing pac..it takes time to initialize into the rom
Its a bug
But if still that happens you cn go to recovery
And wipe data..cache..dalvik..and install again!!
Hope that works for you!
Don't forget to flash gapps package!

Ok thanks, I'll try. It's normal then the black screen? I format system too It's a problem?

Yes it's a bug, there is no boot animation on first boot, wait 5-10 minutes.
Wiping system is good practice, make sure you do a factory reset too of course.

No way to boot for me. Then I flash last firmware .434 with flashtool and my cel reborn. Hard time but now my Xperia is back... But I don't understand why it doesn't boot with cm10.

try install it via CWM instead of TWRP...
i got that kinda situation and when i tried with CWM worked like a charm. Make a Full wipe before installing zip.

Ok thanks. Better if I put zip cm10 in internal memory first? Then fastboot the boot.img, enter recovery with purple led and flash? Format system also?

[Q] CyanogenMod and Galaxy Mini

I flashed official latest firmware(2.3.6) on Galaxy Mini using Odin. Then I flashed ClockworkMod Recovery(blue fonts). Everything worked. Then I tried to install CyanogenMod 7.1(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167750). After CWM showing "complete", I restarted phone. It showed me start logos(Samsung, Samsung Galaxy mini etc.), then stopped on this screen:
I can access recovery and download mode, so I tried wiping data/cache and formatting /system and flashing zip again. Nothing helped. I flashed official firmware again, then tried second ClockworkMod Recovery I found(orange fonts this time). Again, it showed "complete", but after restart I had the same screen. What I have to do to make it work? Could someone give me link to working CWM for Galaxy Mini or describe the procedure?
try to help!
ok first of all you should use the cm7.2rc4 rom cause it has less bugs in cm7.1
gps and other things not working and you have to flash many fix.zips to get everything work!! i give you download to cwm4 recovery whitch works
great on mini!
qick introduction:
1.Flash stock firmware (odin) i have used 2.3.5
2.Flash cmw4 (odin)
3.make sure that both running
4.wipe data/wipe cache/wipe dalvic cache (cwm4)
5.format cache (cwm4)
6.install zip from sd
7.if its done again wipe data/wipe cache
8.reboot system
i have flashed my mini about 20times with this method and never got any stuck
at boot! first time boot will take a bit longer but not longer than 5-10min, my mini takes about 2-5min for first time boot after flashing custom rom!! hope
it help and you to get it running!! try also emanoNv4 with the same method
its a nother realy great custom rom for galaxy mini!

Thank you all. It looks like I just didn't wait long enough. I have one more question: is this screen with crookedly placed "A N D R O I D" text that I attached in first post normal boot screen or what?

I think it is only just normal waiting screen
yes its the normal boot screen for cm7 so need not to worry
Well i would like to tell you that this is the boot screen for cyanogenmod 7 and 9 too...

I had the same problem when I did it the first time.
Make sure you Clear data and cache before installing the zip. Then clear again after installing the zip.
If that doesn't work, which it didn't also for me sometimes. When stuck on screen, get the battery out. Make it boot normally and it will continue. This method always works for me.
Hope it helps.
By the way, i've read that the first time CNM loads it may take some minutes.

Well i would like to tell you that the cwm recovery 5(blue font) is having a few bugs but the cwm recovery 4(orange font) works perfectly so i prefer that and i got success in flashing cyanogenmod 7.

You can't. Either flash a .tar kernel using odin. Or go back to Gingerbread and start from scratch.
Hey
U can put ur phone to recovery/download mode using scripts that are available...they put your phone to CWM and then u can follow the above steps..

When using Jelly Bean, IF you cannot get into recovery mode only download mode and boot loops
Do a battery Pull and press the power button for a min, reinsert battery and then try using the 3 button combo to go into recovery , it works

try to use andro platina utility, link on MY android collections below, uses ADB, or even easy recovery, using ADB to boot into recovery
or even flashing a kernel on download mode could do the trick...see quick solutions /fixes

you have already tried flashing a semaphore JB kernel and it does not solve it?
If thats the case, you can try flashing a bootloader like i9000 Ezboot or i9000 boot.tar with Odin from My android collections , link below

[Q] Phone bricked, Just a simple request (PLEASE)

Hello everyone,
I had to format /system to install a custom rom. The installation aborted so I don't have any os on the phone now.
I can still acess to cwm recovery but not to the download mod (so forget about flashing .kdz). I tried flashing other roms without sucess.
Could someone send me his cwm backup so I could restore to it ? Or just a link for the stock european rom in the format .zip (so I can flash it by cwm ?)
Thanks

[Q] Omar-ROM Bootloop

Hi there,
today i tried to install omar-rom. Booted into CWM-Recovery - data wipe/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik-cache, mount and format /system. After that i installed the zip and rebooted the device.
And here is my problem, it won't boot properly, first time it boots into system, i see the app optimizing tab and immediately first reboot, after that it reboots while the motologo is shown or while the intel logo is shown... this goes over and over.
Two weeks ago i tried omar-rom, there was no problem. In the last two weaks i used original firmware with infini-ROM, infini-ROM still works when i use my untouched backup with these mods - omar rom doesn't. Tried Omar-Rom from 06.19 and 06.20, same result.
Anybody had similar problems, anybody can help?
PS: Sry 4 my bad english, im not a native speaker.

Exactly the same! It goes up to intel logo, then blacks out, sometimes i see optimizing tab, and bootloop.
Then we 2 are doing something wrong - I tried to explain exactly what I did, hope someone know what I did wrong.
But i feel like a retard, so many people use Omar-Rom without problems...

So, you say we use fastboot to return to stock fw and then install the rom as normal, or over pillama?
Flashed stock via RSD-lite, tryed to install omar-ROM with CWM after that - same result, bootloop.
Rryed everything possible now, nothing works - am I stupid or is there a problem with the last versions of omar-ROM?
I'll try flashing it over another firmware, it worked on retail br for me once
EDIT: Bootloop again, got up to optimizing apps and then reboot... This is so weird

Indeed, but what?
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed.
Download the *.zip file to your SD.
Boot into your custom recovery of choice.
<Optional when upgrading same ROM> Data wipe will be required if you came from another ROM, even stock EU.
Select install zip from external card, and choose the zip file.
Hit Reboot.

what did you do to gain recovery again?
Try using the apk from here to install TWRP - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190936
Then reboot to that recovery and flash the XZ Dual Recovery zip available in [NUT]'s thread.
Finally, you should follow instructions carefully next time you install a rom. It clearly says to flash the dual recovery zip after flashing the rom and before rebooting

I tried ZXRecovery and it installed but it's not booting into recovery to flash the NUT one, just rebooting the phone.
i guess i am gonna have to go back to stock, re-root, re-flash the rom and flash the recovery before rebooting
that's what i get for not paying attention to details.
thnx anyway buddy i appreciate it.:good:
