[Q] Is there any Touchwiz ROM with PIE? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

At the moment I'm on PACrom. but I'm really missing the multiwindow feature of TW ROMS, and the full S-Pen functionality.
The only thing keeping me from going back to a TW ROM is PIE. Are there any ROMS like Jedi for the N7100 that have both TW and PIE?

I don't suppose there are any TW ROMs with PIE for the N7000 yet, PIE isn't a feature of TW as such and maybe they have ported it to a TW ROM for the N7100.
For the Spen, I'd like to suggest you the GMD SPen control app which enables you to have custom gestures and it is really a very good app. And there is an app Papyrus that may be a fine substitute for the SNote.

You can try out this app:

Rom request, cm9 with s note apps?

Hey I'm looking for an ics rom with a combination of aosp apps and s note apps still present. Ideally it would be stock ics with aosp dialer, gallery and text app? Thanks for any help
No such thing yet.
I saw a post for different aosp apps in the themes and apps section but dialer was not included. I guess its a start. I'd like to have the pen functionality and apps but hate most skinned dialects. Including samsungs. Aosp is so much neater

So far the cm9 doesn't support s-note
how about vice versa, a touchwiz rom that supports cm9 apps like the dialer, gallery and sich

Click to collapse
Search around. Except for the dialer, you can get all AOSP apps to run on your TW ROM. They're all in the Note Sub-forum.
Use PS Touch instead of S Note, it is much better :good:

Jelly Beans -> Missing s-pen widget

After updating to jelly beans it seems like Samsung have merged s-memo and s-note, and my beloved sticky-note widget that let you put your notes on your home screen is completely gone! This was like one of my single most used widgets! Loved to be able to get a reminder of something every time i glanced at the home screen! Anyone know of any good alternatives that uses the s-pen?
Re: Jelly Beans -> Missing s-pen widget
Yes I was very disappointed at first but then I found gnote on the xda apps and games forum. You can download it from the play store.

[Q] Knoxraid V2 and Go Launcher

I just got on the Knoxraid V2 ROM two days ago. I was coming off a simple JB with root. I found a Theme that I really like in Go Launcher (called Oceanus), but there are some things I would miss from the ROM Touchwiz.
Is it possible to incorporate the Knoxraid home screen weather clock widget into the Go Launcher? I feel like this would be the easiest fix. The only other way would be to use the Icons from Go Launcher and download the App Drawer app for customization (if it would even work).
Also, will a different bootanimation work with this ROM?

[Q] Halo support?

I'm using Paranoid Saberdroid ROM (I've used PAC-MAN and few others in past)
I liked halo much better than hover, Is there any ROM supporting Halo at the moment?
I don't want to install an app to get support.
I liked old implementation of Pie as well (opening settings and notifications from Pie) but I can live with slim Pie.
Thanks

[Q] Alternatives to S Apps?

I debating on switching to the CM12 ROM and the only thing holding me back is S Note and the option to write with the s pen and convert it into text as you write using the keyboard. Any alternative apps to suggest?
Would also be interested in what others suggest. I actually use the Spen a lot an find myself stuck on stock or touchwiz based roms.
I know you can still use the pen in any rom, but I like the handwriting reconition etc...
