Hi everyone. I am very new to this.
I am in Australia and Australia carriers (Telstra, Vodafone, Optus etc) have their HTC ONE model 801s. I am ordering the HTC ONE from UK which has the 801n.
Between 801n and 801s, the only thing i m concerned is the 850mhz HSPA/3G, which 801s has and 801n do not.
If I get the 801n, is there a way to make it able to work on the 850mhz HSPA/3G?
I m very new to this. So sorry if there is a thread for this, but I just doesn't know which one, as I saw people saying flashing ROM or Radio is the way to change it (like having 850mhz on the 801n).
Thanks in advance.
Im interested in this as well, but searching this forum for the "radio" topics it seems its not possible yet, maybe someday... but not now though as these post suggests

Hello and good morning. I'm Michael from Germany. I have a problem with my HTC One. I have bought the HTC one in Germany at O2. I now live in Thailand. I have a sim card from truemove, postpaid. 1 year contract. TrueMove uses the 850 MHz band for 3G-H. I have here in Thailand now only Edge. My HTC One does not support the 850 MHz band. What can I do? Thank you. Michael

try and call htc up, see if you can get a replacement of the asian variant of the one.
if all fails, sell off your current one, and buy an asian variant of the one
Is it possible to flash TMobile Baseband on to HTC One (brand-less GSM)
In asia, Taiwan, sells the Original HTC One.
Was hoping, I can flash TMO Baseband onto Original HTC One, purchased in Taiwan. Use in USA for 3G and LTE.
Is there a way to make this happen? or are there a Flashable Zip already available, I did not find?
If its a regular HTC one yes you can flash different baseband/radio. You will not however unlock any frequencies.
If you use T-Mobile on an international, developer, or any HTC one not sold by T-Mobile here in the states you will only pick up 3G in areas that have been reformed.

The Asia models are very different than other models and have a different frequency set for which they are designed. I don't think it will ever pick up AWS (which I think is what you want), even if some other models will.

Meaning, in the past like HTC Desire HD, which I had. There are cooked roms, and flash baseband. Unlock frequency to work pretty much any where.
HTC Original from Asia, which no longer possible.
Can you guys tell me, what t-mobile baseband frequency runs on?
Will the below work on TMOBILE?
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
HSDPA 900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure where you got those numbers, but everything except the LTE should work. T-Mobile LTE is 1700. However, having 1700 and 2100 is not the same as having 1700/2100 AWS.
Not sure if this is still relevant but my HTC Dev edition clearly uses tmo 4g downloading over 25 Mbps and upping about the same

Hi guys need a little bit enlightment,i had the one branded by verizone, and it has different lte frequency in my country,so it will pick only 3g signal.
If i flashing WWE radio will it gives me lte/4g sognal?in my country only had 850/900/1800/2300 frequency meanwhile my one only had 700mhz.
Hi. I leave in Europe and I want to buy one "Htc one". I will buy a used one from Usa.
The problem is what brand to buy? Verizon or Att ?
I know that verizons are already unlocked but i dont mind also to unlock an Att (its cheap).
The bands that I will use are: GSM 900, GSM 1800, WCDMA 2100, Lte 1800.
None of the htc's that I mention supports Lte 1800 but what about feature custom roms?
Conclusion: considering that I will put on it a custom rom and considering also the feature possibility of custom rom that unlocks lte 1800 which is the best buy?
Thanks for the answers
So which is better for custom roms?

If you can find htc one m7_ul on ebay it will be better. It has lte 1800 band.
Sent from my Nokia 3315.
I bought an M7 from eBay and im wondering about LTE support.
It said it was an AT&T version and on the back of the phone it says 801n, PN07100.
After searching google i found out that PN07100 is the european version, but it only support the LTE bands in USA, as long as its an AT&T, right?
Is it any way to get it to work on the 800, 1800 and 2600Mhz band??
Bump
