Hi,
I root my phone using this and then i try to unlock bootloader and install CWM. Something goes wrong and it starts to bootloop. I try to fix it with LG Flash tool (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDyZ8pH2jp0) but it won't do LG Flash tool process to the end. Program says error after few seconds and phones screen goes to some random colour (black, white, blue, red, green etc.). Well now when I try to start the phone it says LG SECURITY ERROR, error! morningcall is empty, and nothing happens. So I'm screwed can you help?

First OP already fixed it so your post is unnecessary.
Second: not many will click on such links like the ones in the video description on youtube.
And next time please don't just copy and paste the description in here.

Tried entering fastboot to follow install instructions for installing CWM. The Streak is now stuck at a red and black screen and just displays "Starting Fastboot USB download protocol".
Any ideas on how to move past this?
Hit the reset pin under the flap or do "fastboot reboot".
But you do not have the fastboot drivers installed yet so you cant do the latter option

Do you have v2.2, v3.2, etc.? I'm curious what procedure you were following for installing CWM? I've been looking/reading procedures for days and still haven't took the leap! What prompted you to do that right out of the box?
Install Rom Manager
select install cwr

I have done an Idiots Guide for other devices, and now its time for one on the Google Nexus 7 Tablet. I tried to make this guide as thorough as possible, including driver installation, so hopefully this will be as successful for you as it was for me. It took me 20 minutes to find and remove all this junk, would be better if you put these files some where we can eaisly downlaod them, by the way, there is not the original prog., you mention .......... so I gave up.
thanks for the post.

Yes. My next video will demonstrate how to use an app to mount a usb drive. The app requires root, so this guide is necessary as a first step.

hey OP, i followed your video last night and after a few unplugs, task kills, etc. finally rooted my device.
i also followed your step to not flash CWM when rooting, but realize I might want to do that now. is it just as simple as plugging in the device again, then changing the option to CWM and clicking Root in wugs tool?
TIA.

That is a fantastic question. I will attempt to do this and get back to you with a response.
I have always rooted my phones after their warranty period has expired. I was waiting to do this with my N7 also but I see the toolkit had the option to return to stock and relock the device so I assume there is no warranty issue. Also rooting has come a long way and gotten much simpler than 1 to 2 years ago when I was rooting my G1, think will be rooting my N7 this weekend

Reflash the recovery again and if nothing works, use the AIO-Kit (one of the first threads here)
But, this should be posted in the TWRP thread or Q/A section.

1. Download AIO toolkit from here
2. Run it. Inside it, first press "I" to install NVFlash drivers if not already installed
3. Select option 2, change recovery with nvflash.
4. Select your preferred recovery (CWM5, CWM6, TWRP), select the bootloader you are on
(if at start of phone boot, LG logo is black and white=>gb bootloader, LG logo is colored=>ics bootloader),
follow the instructions on the screen
Done!
Thanks rugged, you post in an appropriate way. No offence Jishnu sur, but posting just to ask for a moderator makes no sense without posting the solution. The moderators do watch so reminders are totally unnecessary. Being polite and helpful always benefits all of us

Yes it will work for t mobile. Just make sure you download the appropriate files for your model. You said you get stuck at 4? If you mean step for that's just copying all the files out of that particular folder listed

I know this thread is a little old, but i had the same problem after rooting my T-Mobile Flex. I'm telling you, the guide to restore stock firmware DOES 100% work. The problem is that it's not clear on what state your phone must be in. I had to manually enter Download Mode in order to get the thing working. I have been reading that some people were able to fully restore their phone by using the LG Suite program, which can be found on LG's official support page. Make sure your computer actually "registers" your phone being connected to it by installing the appropriate drivers.
