This will be as close to stock as possible
9.1.A.1.140-James-Bond-Central-Europe-by-gregbradley.zip - 524.12 MB
I don't think anyone will ever make a completely stock on because its too easy to flash in flashtool (If you are near a PC) and also if you flash a stock rom you lose root and hence recovery etc.
This one is rooted though
try this one, its stock uk generic as i also had flashed it before

Use Flashtool v0.9.11.0 to flash.
If you want root, unlock your bootloader, flash a kernel with recovery and flash superuser.
Is it possible to root on this version (.307)??
I need root >_<...
Root is not a "need", but a "want", and the answer to your question is probably not. Just unlock your bootloader, flash a kernel with recovery then flash superuser.
I´m not able to flash it.
Flashtool says "Device connected in flash mode" and that's it.
Other Firmware are working, any idea?
Did you update flashtool to the latest version? Only 0.9.11.0 works for Xperia Tablet Z iirc.
EDIT: 0.9.11.0 flashes fine for my XTZ on OSX.
Tried it and installed, thank you!

Hey,
works great thanks, I don't have the DoCoMo crap anymore
I have the LTE 32GB version, is there anyway I can resize the partition or I need to wait for a 32gb version you think?
Thanks again

Not by flashing via flashtool. You may be able to resize partitions using adb shell or something like that, but that's highly dangerous and untested. There is no 32GB LTE version of the XTZ for worldwide though, so you may be stuck with only 16GB of storage.

If one was to go back to the stock docomo firmware by putting tablet in flashmode will pc companion download the docomo firmware?
Basically how do I go back to 32gb version until I get international LTE 32gb
Cheers

I guess repairing via PC Companion would work. Flashing the DoCoMo ftf might work, but not sure about that.

So ill need to find a ftf download first :/
Wish there were just a partition resize app lol
I lost root and custom recovery after flashing this. But this update brings about the wonderful update to the touch screen which makes the tablet so much more easy to use.
Hopefully, someone will create custom recovery and root for this later.

No FTF file can be modified. It will not unlock your bootloader, nor will it do any dastardly things to your tablet other than update it.

Simple, no
Don't accept any OTA firmware if you unlocked bootloader
You can update firmware via flashtool by downloading stock FTF firmware

Very good advice. Don't do OTA
If there is no ftf posted you can make one
Use PCCompanion and use the "repair" option. It will download the necessary files to flash your phone but will fail to flash because if your unlocked bootloader.
Then use flashtool to make the ftf from the downloaded files which ou can then flash in flashtool
the instructions on how to do this are in the all in one thread

This is not possible at the moment, you have to wait.
I'm working on getting it rooted as we speak, i'll update you on my progress, shouldn't be hard.
Okay it's a long winded approach to get rooted, but i guess it will have to do for the time being... Until a new updated rooting tool is available.
Okay here goes, you will need these things:
SuperSU Install zip
Doomkernel v08 kernel.elf file
Stock Sony 4.3 kernel, attached to this post.
A brain and common sense.
Lets go then, first install the stock android 4.3 FTF....
Once this is done disconnect your phone, put it into fastboot mode and install the Doomkernel. Now upon boot, go into recovery, and install the SuperSU zip normally.
Once this is done, power off your phone (Holding down the power and volume up)
Go into Fastboot mode again, and install the provided stock Sony 4.3 Kernel.
Unplug your phone, boot it, and there you go, rooted stock android 4.3.
If you have any questions ask, no question is too stupid, or PM me and i'll help you best I can.

1) Flash a FTF ending in 534 (Find files and instructions in the mega collection thread in the general section)
2) Instal Dual Recovery (Find files and instructions in the dual recovery thread in the cross device development section)
3) Flash a pre rooted 757 rom (Find files and instructions in the "Update to 757" thread in the development section)
That's 4 times today I have written that, so I am batting at average today....
Thanks for the help. So all I need to do to get warranty back is to flash stock no root or recovery?

There is no such thing as a stock recovery on sony phones
You will just need to flash a FTF file, but you do not lose warrenty by rooting
