dead phone - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Howdy
My phone couldn't receive calls or text messages so I was going to reflash Viper Rom. Booted to recovery to wipe system, restored a backup after that, it says it was successful.
Hit reboot system, and it goes straight to recovery instead of booting up, nor can I get the system to mount in recovery. it's stuck in Team win. I can'y seem to get to the internal storage.
Any thoughts?

Does not boot

I was trying to go from Drizzy's touchflo 3D to JACxDrizzy's ROM.
I have fat32, ext3, and linux-swap, all the appropriate size
So, i followed the usual steps:
boot to recovery, nandroid backup (i have 1.4 recovery btw), wipe, flash, boot.
Except, the phone got stuck in a bootloop. So i booted to fastboot, then used the "fastboot flash ____ ____img" commands to restore.
Also a bootloop.
I thought of using the 1.4's nandroid restore function, but that does not work since after backing up, I moved the backup to my desktop, changed the folder name, and deleted the backup from my phone. I tried to adb push the files back in, but recovery still said that the backups were not in the phone.
So I wiped everything, including ext3, then tried again, this time going back to my previous build, Drizzy's touchflo 3d. It seemed to be working - i went to recovery and selected the flash update.zip option. Then the options disappeared, as usual, and the text (showing the progress of the flashing) began to show up. However, the phone froze after the first two lines of text.
I decided to wait. Eventually, my phone shut down. I tried to boot my phone in all 3 ways (standard, recovery, and fastboot) but none of them worked. The red LED blinked twice and the phone has no response.
How do I get my G1 to boot, and after that, how do i get nandroid to work?
EDIT: Ok I feel stupid now. The phone just ran out of battery. But the question still stands: How do i get nandroid to work?
since you nuked your ext3 your nandroid probably will not work because the hero rom will be looking for the files necessary for it on your ext3 but they are not there so it will bootloop. try flashing whatever rom you want to with a cleanly formatted card and see if it will boot up.
I don't know why, by Drizzy's builds always require EXT formatting, but JAC's don't. So you got a bootloop because you didn't wipe your ext3. I always just use Cyan's recovery to restore a nandroid backup. If that flails I guess you have to start over.

G1 Won't Get Past Boot Screen

Here's the scenario:
Been running CM4.2.15.1 with Amon_RA's recovery v1.6.2 & default(?) SPL.
Nandroid backup.
Wiped data/factory reset.
Tried to flash OpenEclair1.2.2. Got error:
Code:
E: Can't symlink /system/xbin/bb/dirname
E: FAilure at line 73:
symlink /system/xbin/busybox SYSTEM:xbin/bb/dirname
So I wiped again and tried to Nandroid restore.
After "restore," I keep getting stuck on the "T-Mobile G1" screen after waiting 10ish minutes. Any suggestions? Am I not waiting long enough?
Did I "brick" my phone?
Well, you wiped to flash OpenEclair which currently requires the Danger spl (or you can create proper symlinks). Since you wiped and then tried to flash a rom onto your phone which formats the /system partition (here Android resides), I'm thinking you should reflash Cyanogen (after flashing the Htc Recovery of course).
So when I did the factory reset, that means I got rid of the "htc recovery"? The Amon_RA recovery is still working for me though.
EDIT:
So I've wiped again and tried to reflash the CM but again it's still stuck at the "G1" screen. Should I wipe dalvik? I don't understand why my nandroid restore isn't working..

The HTC recovery, as in the thing you flashed before you first flashed Cyanogen. I have always done this and I'm pretty sire that Cyanogen does not boot without having flashed the HTC recovery on a new flash (As in coming from another rom)
I can't load my phone to mount my sd card to put those files onto my phone..? I've been flashing roms all the time but I feel like a noob right now.
EDIT:
Oh it's a simple "push". Sorry, freaking out here is all.
EDIT:
successs!! turns out I needed to flash the "base" as described in http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Upgrading_From_Older_CyanogenMod_or_other_rooted_ROMs
Thank you so much for your help!

Phone won't boot, can't transfer files

I was helping my friend flash a ROM, he downloaded CM10.1 put it on his internal SD card he went into recovery and wiped data and cache afterwards he flashed the ROM and during that his installation aborted! he completed the same process a few times and still same thing. we decided to give up and just reboot, but the thing is now he's stuck on the Galaxy ace logo screen! so we went back to recovery and tried again.. same thing... again. we can't even transfer files since we can't boot up the phone!
Any suggestions? I'm really desperate..
EDIT: He used odin to get back to stock, It's all good!
Go to Recovery
Then go to mounts and storage menu.
then select mount USB
and then Transfer the required files
this way you can Transfer files via USB by recovery
And use CWM Recovery 5.0.2.6
ROM doesn't get flashed if you are using CWM Recovery 4
enjoy

[Q] Flashed zips don't stick, phone keeps resetting to how it was yesterday morning

So I've got an HTC One on T-Mo. The CM10.1 nightly build (8/1) I had installed worked fine for a while.
Yesterday, it rebooted on its own a few times, and each time, everything I'd done since around 7 AM decided to undo itself. Texts I received went missing, apps un-updated, files on internal storage erased themselves. Every time I reboot the phone, it undoes whatever I've done. Rebooting into recovery deletes whatever zip I meant to flash!
So I already had one of the GE ROMs on internal storage. Thought I'd try flashing that. So I went into CWM, formatted /system and /data, flashed the GE ROM, wiped Dalvik, the whole deal. When I rebooted, I was once again greeted with CM10.1 the way I'd left it yesterday morning.
Restoring from a backup doesn't work either.
Tried to flash TWRP over CWM through ADB, rebooted recovery, and it's still CWM.
I'm at a loss. I can't wipe or flash or put files on my phone. Any ideas?

[Q] PhilZ Touch froze after /system format

As instructed to install PAC ROM for a locked bootloader, I formatted /system from PhilZ Touch Recovery. I then performed a factory reset upon which it froze while formatting /cache, time was not changing, nor was battery level, though I could still get feedback from touches.
After a while, nothing had changed but eventually the phone did turn itself off and reboot, the only problem being that there's now nothing to boot.
I'm now stuck on the Sony start up screen, I cannot enter recovery at all.
I did make a back up beforehand and luckily I also copied it to my computer, is there any way to restore it?
Any help would be massively appreciated!
Its a bug of recoveries. Always do factory reset and full wipe After installing rom.. Now try to copy backup to sd card and use cwm to restore if it didnt work install rom using flashtool
