Is my one's camera defective or do I have to clean a lens. Any kind of help would be appreciated as it's my first HTC

It's a defect alot of us here experience the same. I suggest to report this issue with HTC. It's caused by miscalibrated sensor. I'm not sure if that could be fixed by software though so it's better bringing it to HTC instead.

Hello Hunkumar
I have the same issues and alteady reported it to HTC. Can you share how you were able to resolve this?

Okay, annoying for a camera flaw, but... pretty god damn cool looking.
I'd start the RMA process. Something's unhappy in your camera sensor.
This has already been discussed.

HTC One - Defective camera

I just picked up the HTC One today and noticed an odd issue with the camera. Whenever I use the rear facing camera, I notice a line through any picture I take. The line also shows up on the camera screen while taking the picture but the front camera does not show this issue

Its simple camera issue, almost all the Xperia z will have dots in the camera after a certain period of time.(i do have it in my Z as well)
i am trying to trace the cause of it.
is it caused due to drop damage.. or some kind of soft materiel pops in the camera lens.
100% i will be replaced camera if u got warranty
I just got mine replaced... And it is due to heat damage most of the time... Sony has just made a bug and don't care

[Q] What the hell is going on with my camera?!

Do a lot of people have this issue when trying to take a photo? Do you think I should just send it back to TMO for a replacement.

Yep, it's a very common problem, get a replacement from TMO.. Supposedly newer batches don't have this problem.

Since I live in Canada and I'm sending it back to USA HTC, I'm just wondering if there would be any issues?
Especially it's a used phone with unlock SIM/HTCBootloader unlock/S-OFF
and the cost? if anyone had already experience of replacing camera lens, please help.
I'll for sure return all to 100% stock with the guide from nkk71, just wanted to get my questions answered first.
Thank you.
PS. posted here only to get more attention
Att won't take it unless your a customer. You will have to send it to htc
