It rocks.
I got the camel colored one. I don't think I'll EVER use my bulky Zenus case again.
The snap-on cover gives me a great grip, looks very nice, and can be snapped on the front as well, to protect the glass when transporting it. All four corners are nicely protected, as well as the back. Also doesn't wobble as much when on a flat surface.
Doesn't add too much thickness, and has a nice little ridge around the outside edge that makes a great place to rest a fingertip/thumb. The leather quality is very nice, and the embossed Galaxy Tab and Samsung logos make it look very classy.
I'll shoot some pics when the light is better.

That's the one. I got mine from here:

Here's the black one: http://www.expansys.ca/samsung-gala...ver-black-high-end-leather-1-piece-us-205930/
Took awhile to arrive using the cheap shipping option, like over a month, but then again it was holiday season and bad weather on top of that.

Since you're in Vancouver, I'll take the black one off your hands, could always use a spare.
I just got my Nexus 10 today. I love it! I'm scared to take it anywhere with me though, since I do not have a case. I've seen several people recommend the MoKo slim. I like it, and it looks nice, but I don't want black. I really like the navy blue cover. Does anyone have any dealings with getting a colored cover from them?
I do not but the poetic slimline is great and comes in many colors.

I've heard and seen that the poetic has its own issues, or else I would be looking at it. The Moko looks nice, and I need a case ASAP

I'm a bit confused. Why would a case that comes in a different color perform any differently then one that is black? Do different colors provide additional protection, or make the case slimmer?

You're right, but if you check on amazon, select the orange one, and it looks pretty different. I think he means if the colour is ok and etc, not that the case performs different.
Mainly just shipping times. And the colored cases are different from the black case. The colored cases have Moko on the cover, and the black one only has it on the metal tab. I saw poetic black shipped later than colored ones, so I was just wanting to see.

That's not true. I've got the black one and it has moko on te cover, as you can see on the video.
I can't answer your question regarding color as my MoKo case is black (got it because it was eligible for Amazon Prime shipping). What I can tell you, however, is that you need to stay far away from the Poetic Slimline. It's an absolute piece of crap.

You're right. I remember seeing your video, but when I looked on Amazon, the black case doesn't have Moko written on the from. I've already ordered the Indigo one though. Now just waiting on it to get in!

For what it's still worth, I got the indigo case too.
It's pretty much just navy blue. No purplish tint at all. The "Moko" is on the metal tab, not anywhere else.
That's the color I was hoping it would turn out being. Thank you for that

I just got the email saying the MoKo has shipped. I should have it by the 30th at the latest. Hopefully it's worth the money!
I just got my navy blue moko and I am very pleased! Great fit and adds little bulk.
anyone from australia got this case? i cant seem to get it shipped here from amazon
Got mine yesterday and I love it! Much better than the Poetic which was too tight and couldn't easily access the volume and power buttons.

great case
I just got mine from Amazon in grey, an amazing case, cost 15 bucks, the case is very sturdy
i also tried the crazyondigital bundle for 30 bucks that includes a case, the build was so crappy, i will return the bundle soon
2 quick questions:
1. The moku's metal tab looks like it might actually touch the screen when the cover is closed. If that is the case isn't there potential to scratch the glass? I'm worried it might do so in a backpack where it could get very compressed.
2. Once the tablet is secured in the shell how much potential is there for it to fall out? I many times put something like a paperweight on the cover and allow the tablet to swing freely as it hangs off of something like a shelf. I'm wondering if the shell holds it in tight enough so you wouldn't have to worry about it slipping out when doing so?

In general, when metal hits glass, the metal scratches.
Still undecided!
Theres a thread for this called post pics of phones with cases, it has 88 or so pages of info.

Genuine Samsung Note 2 case, it fits the phone perfect, it has rubber sides and hard back. Samsung did a great job on the case just like they did on the phone. ZERO issues as it is made FROM Samsung. This is the perfect case for me..I do not have the overhyped UAG case nor the fever that seems to be spreading.
P.S. notice how I say best case for me??? Yea...I have no idea why people say something is the best for a very subjective topic.

I'll update with a pic when I un-F my ROM's camera.
I've had roughly 50 cases since I resell them for fun. Of these, I've kept the following for myself:
2 UAG cases. 1 in black and 1 in white
2 Sweet Armor bumpers. 1 in Titanium Grey and 1 in Matte Black and Silver
1 Spigen Ultra Flip
1 Seidio Convert holster (only the holster, sold the case)
These are, IMHO, the very best available in each of their classes.
Went with the white Uag, preferred it over the silicone of the aegis

Mind me asking what screen protector, if any, that you are using.
Every time I put on a different case, the edges are different enough that they cause problems.
What's the best thin case for the Note II ? I bought a couple cases at ATT store, they too thick.
I typically rock naked phones, because most cases seem to add too much bulk and thickness. I just like the feel of light thin phone.
Now if the Note II was as thin as the iPhone 5 then I wouldn't mind a Tough Case thick case. But its not, so...

I used to have one of those elago's on my Note 1. I wouldn't recommend these slim cases at all. While they look nice if you drop your phone and it catches the edge like I did with mine. You're going to end up with a cracked screen or chipped at the very least. This is what happened to my Note. Had the elago case I dropped it caught the edge of the table on the way down and it chipped the screen. With my Note 2 I've gone with a aluminium bumper case that protectors the edges and has a decent lip. If you can find a decent slim case with a lip and covers the edges of the front glass that would be better! Samsung phones are so fragile!!
Hey does anyone know where to buy back doors for extended batteries?
Just got my extended battery and want a different door for it (phone is gray, door is white).
Preferably a black carbon fiber one.
Been searching for a while and can't find anything.
If anyone could help me out, would be greatly appreciated.

You could order a textured carbon skin for the white door if you can't find the door alone. Amazon may have the extended battery cover. Try searching "galaxy note 2 extended battery cover" without the " and see what turns up otherwise I'd go with textured carbon fiber skin on the current battery door or maybe some black textured truck bed liner in a spray can that stuffs pretty tough and doesn't look bad if you spray it carefully you could even mask off around the logos if you want to keep them. Be sure to mask off the openings(camera, speaker etc) from the back and have an exacto/utility knife and some coarse to fine grit sand paper handy to keep the finish nice

Here's a quick look at what you can do with the Anker extended battery/case and a bumper...
Before
After
Carbon Gear is where you can get one.
They are a little more expensive and I'm sure you can ebay it but I live not to far from where Carbon Gear is at. It ran me about $15 shipped maybe a little more but it was around there. On ebay you can search for "3m Vinyl carbon" and you should get a ton of hits.
You'll need Patience, an Exacto knife, scissors, and a hair drier. Mine came out almost the same as the posts above, he just beat me to the punch. lol
1. The Patience is self explanatory
2. Put the sticker on the case, make sure to cut more than you need for "shrinkage", I gave myself about an inch or 2 on all sides.
3. Use the hair drier to form the sticker around the edges and nooks and crannies.
4. When satisfied let the sticker cool off and use the exacto to cut the excess off.
This is easier said than done but if you screw up a 12" x 12" sheet should give you enough to do this three time. I got it on the first time and my only advice is to take your time. This is the best way to do it because no one makes an extended door in patterns yet nor can I find a back door by itself.
I would also recommend not using the aluminum bumper with the rubber buttons. While it does work it's a super tight fit and while adjusting the front sliding frame I ripped off my JLG protector. Luckily my MIME SP just came in the mail today. ROFL.

Google.com is a neat tool for phone research, fyi.
That being said, if you have the new Hyperion battery with cover, I think it will be much more difficult to cut a skin. I went with the hyperion case that was designed to go with the newer battery cover, and love it. Feels solid, isn't slippery, well worth the purchase! (also allows me to retain NFC)

ROFL.

Thanks mate. I'll definitely try and do a nice job. Will post here once I do one.

Here's a quick look at what you can do with the Anker extended battery/case and a bumper...

Carbon Gear is where you can get one.

I got inspired by this mod and did it on my oem battery back door. I must say I love the results!

It looks amazing and I am probably gonna do it again when I pull the trigger on the Anker battery-case combo. Thanks for that!

Looks great! It's what we do in our car club when someone wants to redo their speedometer, dash, or interior. Not super expensive, relatively easy, and makes it look great!
