[HELP]GPRS/EDGE/3G not enabled in Cyanogenmod

guys i just flashed CM7 rom but im not able 2 get GPRS/EDGE/3G in my phone
Does ne bdy hav d same problem

You need to create and set your operators APN settings under mobile networks in settings.
BTW ask your questions in general forum not here.

I use setting my APN .. n doesn't not working man... please help

If something isn't working I suggest to flash rom once again.
wipe data/cache factory reset.
Or check once again APN configuration..

CM7 "should" already have all APN Configs.
You can also download config file from here and put it into /system/etc.

Did you put "internet" as the APN type?? If so keep the APN type field blank and try again..

Hi Bro this is very common problem... due to the fact you are flashing your cellphone with rom that maybe is from europe, you will need to get the modem from your country and flash the modem trough "ODIN" ,it works for me so eveytime i Use a rom from any developer from any country i just flash the modem with odin and wuala start working the 3g and hdsp+ connection do a little bit of search i will try to upload the files if you need help with that.... Do a little bit of search and this only flash the modem so it will not change any settings on your phone...

Not all APNs are included there and CM/Android is a worldwide available product, for example my APN is not there and having that bunch of useless APNs wouldn't help in any way, what I do agree is that a simple pop up at the beginning reminding users that they need to set up their APN manually would help avoid these kind of questions to continuously pop up all over the internet.

[Q]3G won't work for me with cyanogenmod 7

For some reason is 3g not working. My apn settings are correct. Does sombody know why? I can't life without 3g

No, I flashed cynogenmod and filled in the apn settings and it doesnt work at all. The next day i flashed Coderom V2BX or somthing like that and 3g works

Yes i had put Internet under apn type

Keep it blank... it should solve the problem.. it worked for me anyway.. so just give it a try..

I will flash cyanogenmod again and check if it works!

i try but can't save the setting "Attention the APN cannot be empty"

Yoe must fill in the APN and leave The APN TYPE blank

[Q] How to connect 3g in CM-11 galaxysmtd latest build?

I already set my preferred network to 3G and set my APN settings but I can't access internet via any browser on my phone. I'm thinking that a 3G icon would appear in my status bar but there isn't a 3G icon appearing. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks for answering btw.

have you tried turning airplane mode on and off

If you'll succed then it will be "H" or "3G" icon. With proper apn it should work. What carrier?

When I started using internet on my phone I realised, that internet wasn't working because of proxy adress in APN settings.

how will I know if what carrier am I using? I tried and tested different apn settings but still there's no icon appearing whether its H or 3G.

Try it with WiFi on? Call Sprint and have them try to get it working.

i updated it after this my apn has blank and not show my data network is block
and no root available show on xda and any site
kindly help me plz xda you are my last hope plz

I have purchased the same sprint LG G4 (LS991ZVB) and updated it to latest Marshmallow 6.0 including other mini security updates too. I was having the same problem. After selecting the LTE or CDMA losing the signal.
Here is the solution:
1. If you lost the signal after pressing the LTE/CDMA or CDMA
Go to settings>General>Backup&reset>Network setting reset.
you will have your signal back
2. You can use 3G internet services of any network. just need to fill the APN setting manually.
Go to settings>Network>Mobile data>Mobile Networks>Access point Name
Now add APN (only interent settings. ignore the mms or gprs settings)
As i am a new user. I am not allowed to give outside link. However I can send you link of all Pakistani networks APN settings& my contact number in private message.
Now you can use 3G internet. :good:

Search forum for ZVB MellowMallow ROM.. Install that ROM and your network will work like a charm

The sprint versions pretty good at lte on most carriers not all. Try like default,hipri,supl,fota

what carrier u using i have had to use alternative apns on my g4 before there is like 7 or 8 net 10 apns and only one of them work properly

that should just be a metter of using the correct apn

How to get 4G on ATT

My Mi Mix is on ATT and is running on 3G . How can I get the 4G that ATT uses in USA ???

Ok go to settings and look for mobile network or sim cards. If founded go to the option that said access point name click that. It should said att nextgenphone if not look for it and press it.

It Worked . Thanks a lot .

I upgraded to version MIUI 8.5.2 and now get in About Phone - Status - Sim Status :
For Cellular network type : HSPA : I need for GSM another one , but it greyed out and for cellular network state : Disconnected : Greyed out .
Help !!!
