The system simply wouldn't boot.
Possible permanent side effects:
- Hard brick of LCD screen
- NFC chip rendered useless

I speaking based on experience. If you own a STE Xperia phone and flashed Xperia Go's FW, your screen is dead, permanently. There's no way to fix it, even when you flash your device's stock ROM. I'm not saying it will brick your Xperia Z, but I just trying to caution you. Though I quietly confident nothing will happen.

It can. Some update flashes a new NFC firmware. Flashing the wrong NFC FW can permanently brick the chip.

But the NFC specific fw is the same since the chip is equal so normally it shouldn't make a difference

Tried to flash ZL kernel and system. No use. Blank screen at boot.
Even after flash ZL 423 kernel. Flashtool recognize my device a 1.307. Probably because of signature, flashing might failure.
Returned to 1.307
Need to solve drivers.
Ps: Locked bootloader.

I won't do that if I were you messing firmware which is purposed to that device is suicidal to ur Z. U might get softbrick. Unless u port it into ur Z, it might work.

Mine is doing the same, also battery drains.
I think it's about JB basebands, i've tried a lot of versions.
It's doing like this when phone is using one band but i don't know which one, i think 3G on 900Mhz because this type of freq. is used outside towns.

It's weird, if you're running .489 JB version then you could try flashing .492 JB version from following thread and see if it could help.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38748675
Edit: Make sure you backup before you flash new firmware.

Try Repair My Phone with Sony Update Service,

It's absolutely safe flashing foreign FW.
The OP already stated that he flashed stock FW, so repairing won't help much I guess.

Yes you can just flash with flashtool to downgrade and if you dont wipe anything,
your phone will be as before just with .434.
But for me the downgrade ended in a NFC update problem that causes the phone to reboot the whole time!
Therefore I am stuck at .253 without root!

To find things requires you to actually search, if you're too lazy to do that then read the stickys where you'll usually find them, but if you're too lazy to even do that, wait for a spoon feeder to come along and help, as they have done.

No. .434 didn't work at all for me, because you can't do anything because of the reboots at startup.
Therefore I flashed . 253 again but without root, because it's unable at the moment.

Does flashing firmwares void warranty? Also does it have any effect on lets say the emic or flash storage on the phone? And lastly, isn't that 14.1.G.534 a prototype/journalist firmware?

my Xperia V flashes the [T] DooMKernel {JB}(v08), then it appears some problems. during the booting, the boot animation has serious color lump. the screen always beats and the color of the screen changes more white all the way. I try to flash some firmwares and kennels, but it has no use. How can I do?
please heip me, and give me some advice. Thanks
Relock your bootloader and repair with pccompanion.
It clearly days that the T version of DooMKerneL is for v the T, and you should not flash it on other phones
