Hello.
I live in a counntry with both GSM and 4G LTE networks. Reading this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/help/virgin-mobile-htc-desire-510-gsm-t2965839 for the efforts of unblocking GSM bands thre is something I don't understand. If I buy the Sprint version of the phone, it is posible for me to use it outside USA with a 4G LTE capable SIM without having to unblock GSM Bands? Or do I need to have CDMA support in my country to be able to use the phone?
Thanks.
You would need a CDMA network; it's not working on GSM networks!

You could try getting the Cricket or Telus version of the device as they are GSM.

The thing is, where I live, people are selling this phone very cheap (less than half the price) becasuse isn't posible to unlock it on gsm at the moment.
Did it work for you ?
Did it work for you ? cause I have the exactly the same problem with my device and I don't even know what to do till now
Hi! I have been reading many posts trying to figure out if this is possible, so I would appreciate any assistance.
My phone Is EMEA Version, which only has LTE Bands 800, 1800 and 2600, and my carrier uses 1900, 2100.
Is possible to unlock those bands?
Thanks!

No as far as I can tell. We have a hardware lock on the bands, not just software.
Is it possible to make the Droid turbo unlocked to other lte bands? I live in Europe thanks
Sorry, I rarely say this, but please use Search?
Been discussed a whole lot.
Hello there!
So, I was wondering if it's possible to enable via software the wifi ad and the other lte bands and higher categories, like the ones in elite and ultimate models. Afaik, the comms hardware is the same.
So... Anyone?
Thanks in advance for any input.

Hardware is similar yes. But LTE chip and WIFI chip could be different so then LTE BANDS won't be the same as elite one. So answer would probably be no.

Sad thing... But ok! Thanks for you attention!
You can have B28 if you use sim card tray n°2.
Hello All,
I do often travel around the world. Thats the reason why i choose the OnePlus Nord CE model (the Website promote to support a lot of LTE Bands).
Now I read, that OnePlus disable some LTE Bands for the area outside you live.
I've the EB13BA (EU) model.
Which LTE Bands are supported with that model?
Is it possible to unlock the other Bands?
Will the install of the Global Firmware, unlock the LTE Bands?
Thank you an best regards.

A prepaid SIM such as "SIM2Fly", which is used temporarily when traveling, will probably work fine.
By the way, my "EB13AA" is
Gsm: 850, 900, 1800, 1900
Wcdma: v1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE-FDD: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/18/19/20/26/28/66
LTE-TDD: B38/39/40/41
The number of bands is very wide, so the question is probably whether you need "VoLTE" or not.
For Japanese carrier SIMs, many are "VoLTE", so this phone without it enabled will be a Wi-fi only device.
In fact I have been working on that problem for a very long time, and I was able to turn it on only when the OS was "11.0.1.1.EB13AA", but all later OSes were impossible.
There is a bias in the OS files available, and "11.0.1.1.EB13AA" is not currently available on the Internet.
hy, thank you for your reply. I downloaded the 11.0.1.1.EB13AA version on the OnePlus site. But im not sure if it will unlock other LTE Bands. As i say i have the European and not the Global version. Is there a diffrent between a travel SIM and a native SIM?

In most cases, a travel SIM can be plugged into a device to get a signal and use it.
I don't know the specifics of the SIM, but the travel SIM should cover the common LTE bands.
And
OnePlus will disable some LTE bands in the area outside where you live.
Even if this is true, it should not disable common LTE bands in the world, such as B3/B20.
This is mostly speculation, but I hope it helps.
If you are unsure, it is fun to flash globalROM boldly.
