A slight observation. Mrs sent me a text messafe earlier today, it came through as an MMS . No pictures or such included.. Anyone care to comment>?

Was it a long message? I know for some reason samsung set long messages as mms. In the tmobile thread one of the devs posted a mod to fix it.

Yes it was a longish sort of message. Will I get charged MMS rates then?

Possibly. If you have an unlimited messaging plan i think youll be good though

Not much of a texter so only have the 200 text pack, anyways. Not the end of the world.

Not really a workaround but at least you can get a warning if you enable this.

Can't send MMS

My phone can't send MMS for some reason. Anyone know what might be the problem?

I'm rooted too. Is that the reason why? I hope not. I haven't messed with the apn settings at all.

It was my guess as I assume AT&T wouldn't send else a phone not capable of receiving mms, especially considering how much $$ they beat you for them.

I havent changed anything on my phone, whenever I try to send a photo to my wife via text I have to send it twice??? Data problem or phone problem??

had that issue when I installed ad block...it blocks the mms port. .. uninstalled now no probs

i had trouble sending MMS and even text sometimes. full stuck no mms. samsung better fix this basic function. i am not sure if its a bug of the older firmware either. people that did not downgrade would have to tell us if there having problems as well

So can we have our cake and eat it too? Can you have adblocker and send mms somehow?

Could anyone help me receive messages on my gear from my note 3?
I did all settings in gear manager on note 3. I could receive all ( calls, emails etc) but no messages.
Is there any other setting I must do before?

Open gear manager on phone, go to settings then notifications, now add a check mark on messages....voilà

Sometimes not that easy. I've had messages checked under notifications in settings. And I haven't received 1 SMS notification since day one. I only use stock SMS app.
Kinda. Annoying
And kinda gave up awhile ago. Just like my svoice won't work. Tried everything. Can't find others with issue.

if your screen is on, the sms won't go to the watch. You need to either check if there are wakelocks or install modded message apk (search in this forum) that doesn't turn screen on when you receive a message

Can send mms but not sms?!?

Ok so I WAS rooted and running a rom but had to flash back to stock and unroot at att and now I can receive mms and sms messages and even SEND mms messages but can't send sms. Someone please help this is frustrating

Yes. Sometimes it tries for a few minutes sometimes instantly buy it will always say failed

I have tried factory reset powering off pulling sim and even reseting apn settings. I honestly can't see how it could be on my end

Perhaps your baseband got corrupted? Try to Re-flash just the modem through Odin.

Sending mms is sending an sms with a link to the mms file, so something's wrong here. If you can send an sms with a link you can send an sms without a link.

Anyone having MMS issues in the last few hours?

Just in the last 2 hours or so I can't receive MMS images at all. On WIFI, on LTE, on 3G, nothing. Data otherwise is working fine,.

I have actually had mms and text issue since getting the phone. Also had it on my old HTC one that had a sense 6 Rom. Very slow to load and always get sending errors. Hopefully fixed soon cause I use sms and mms a lot. If anyone has any info to fix please sure. Right now I am pure stock.

same here cant download a single MMS message

I had one come through this morning but still took like 15 mins after receiving it for it to download
