It's hard bricked mate
Sent from my device running CyanogenMod 11
Thanks. Is the consensus then that this is a lost cause?
Try to find one that's cracked on eBay and swap out the mainboard
I loaded the wrong boot loader on to my 7" kindle fire HD. Now it's dead. No power, nothing. I know some people were trying to find a solution but I haven't found anything. Please help!

There may or may not be a way to fix it with some soldering, sdcard reader and a Linux live cd, i haven't been as active in the community lately so im not sure how the efforts went with the 7" model, seems like we had it working on all the models except that particular one last i checked. Outside of that a hardbrick is not recoverable.
Hey Guys,
I spent today trying to root my Kindle Fire HD 7, 4th gen (i think). After trying for ages it coudnt get it work so i decided to give up. when shutting it down in the recovery mode screen, i hit the power button while it was over the option reboot bootloader or something like that.
Now the Kindle will not turn and when i plug it into my pc, it is showing as an HTC Dream.
What i want to know have i broken it completely or is there away i can undo what i have done.
I updated my fire to os 5 and my windows operating system is 10.
cheers.

How did you fix it?
I install team-win-recovery and u-boot then my kindle don't turn on any more. Please help me TT
Information:
my kindle : fire hd 7 (tate)
First. it's normal, but i want to flash a new custom rom form http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hd/8-9-development/rom-beanstalk-t3436434 . So, i wiped and format my device. Then i flash a new u-boot and twrp until it like now. TT
Symptom:
When i open my device it didn't have anything on the screen, but my device is a little hot. I think i work but i can't do anything, plug to computer it can't find too. It can charge i think. And when it's crash it had 55%.
Sorry for my language, i'm thai and i'm poor in english TT
Hello. COuld you please specify more information? When you turn on the KFHD, do you get anything(even a spec of light from the screen)? Is it charged(which i'm guessing it is)? If you could edit or re-post your question with more info. It would be easier for people to help. Thanks!
Sorry for my post, so i will add it for you. Thank you for your suggestion. ^^
I have a 5th gen Fire and I tried downgrading to 5.12 from 5.32.x...it didn't work... I now have a tablet which doesn't show any signs of power... I've tried different software I.e. KFU and the Kindle Unbrick tool but no luck....anyway when I connect it to the PC I hear the sound of when I plug in a USB but then about 3 seconds after then it disconnects and then reconnects and so on but never shows anything on the screen it is completely black. My problem is that it won't stay on long enough to do any significant reflash or any kind of fix. If anyone can help me in keeping it on long enough then I could flash with its stock update. I may even have to solder some points on the board but that's fine so long as I can fix it....
Thanks in advanced any help is appreciated

I have ended up in the exact same spot after attempting a downgrade to 5.1.1.
I downgraded to try and fix an odd problem. I recently wiped my CM version back to stock, but when registering the device it forced me into Kid's Edition - I did the downgrade in an attempt to bypass that. Now it's just a paperweight/doorstop.

Sorry for your loss; device is unrecoverable. Contact Amazon for a courtesy replacement is still under warranty.
