Hey guys,
I stupidly dropped my phone in water and awaiting it to dry out, i cant take it back to the store yet as havent changed the ROM back as cant see the screen. Is there anyway of doing it without having to know off by heart the on screen instructions. The screen doesnt seem to repond to anything either. I get the vibrate to tell me its on and that about it, sometimes the SE logo in full oclour before it all blurs and becomes a mash of colour.
I have the stock ROM ready to upload (as kindly retrieved from here) but dont know how to go about changing it now.
Cheers
take urx1 to consumer care center and ask them to look after for u!
Is that a dig at my predicament
eu sorry for my poor english! u use the word “dig”? does it means know orunderstand? or sth else?or a slang?

Should I give Lg Optimus Black and 59.76 USD for Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S ?
I want sincerely tips ... and FAST ...
My mom has it and the only thing that is bad is the small internal memory.
So if you don't care about that, go for it.
Sent from my phone powered by 4.2
So it`s faster than OB ?
I don`t care about memory because I don`t use so many apps.. I have 5 apps installed on my phone.. and I guess some of them you can move on the SD card .
I heard 1.4 Ghz Scorpion is not as good as it seems .. today I`m gonna buy it, so again.. one more opinion ?
Or RomWiz, can you tell me if it is fast, and other kinds.. like camera quality ?
Thanks .

You may check this comparison......the only problem are the internal memory.
you mad bro?
don't give money
i would not recommend changing to an arc s
I didn`t made it, after all. He wanted even more moneys.. and I told him : Go to h*ll !
Thanks for your tips.

I guess it's how far your're willing to go to replace the battery.
Ask your Sony Store, its not cheap, but they will change it for you.
thanks all for ur reply
the pont is that all the phone is surrounded with glass....how could they open it?

By heating it up, you can also do it yourself.
But like "Cenobite_" said: "I guess it's how far you're willing to go to replace the battery. "

my phone is out of warranty and i just want to make sure it is hardware problem
Thanks
Hi,
No need to open two threads with the same problem and question
It is a hardware issue I'm afraid.. So you can repair this yourself (or someone with knowledge) by buy a front screen+digitizer
Or ofcourse go to the service center and hope for the best..
~~ Regards

nope.
Okay, I'm here now.
Recapping:
You was on Facebook through stock Browser when you had a freeze, you had freezes in the past too, but this time after 3-5 minutes was still frozen.
You pulled off battery and reinserted, tried to power on device and no life signs.
You checked if battery works with tongue on contacts, USB port and power button are OK.
You can't go to the Samsung Service Centre due to custom ROM and you'll have to pay for repair. If motherboard is dead, they can't see what ROM is inside eMMC.
Maybe the battery cell is damaged and voltage is under minimum needed, try another i9070/p or compatible device's battery, otherwise you can watch this video guide till minute 2:55 to remove middle frame, then use any mobile phone's battery (suggested Samsungs for same contacts layout) following contacts + and - (usually are wrote on battery sticker or directly on black plastic)

Motherboard should be analyzed to find what caused that... Doesn't power on at all, try to send to Samsung service centre, under warranty!! You still have warranty? Custom ROM or binary counter don't matter since motherboard is apparently dead and they can't see

Glad to hear that. So,i hope they cant see that i have custom rom as you said.I bring it to service ASAP and i let you know what happen. Thanks for your answers
EDIT: on warranty card say :
"The warranty is not applicable in cases other than defects in material design and workmanship. The warranty does not cover the following:
-periodic checks,maintenance,repair and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear;
-abuse or misuse, including but not solely limited to the failure to use this product its normal purposes or in accordance with Samsung`s instructions for usage and maintenance
-upgrading of software due to changes in network parameters"
etc.
I think i will pay for repair...
Don't worry!! Yours is broken but you'll tell them that you aren't interested to repair touch screen just talk about no power on (it's covered by warranty)
If they ask you if device was modified, answer what it is? let's do the noob boy

Yes, contains everything they'll keep your screen, cover, buttons, Camera, vibrator, speakers... Everything except motherboard
About what happened I can't say a lot, I haven't the motherboard in my hands.
Had to die :'D
The Lord wanted it back

Now you could hope that they will screw up screen totally while replacing the motherboard, so they could think that it's their fault and replace it :fingers-crossed:
