nope.

Okay, I'm here now.
Recapping:
You was on Facebook through stock Browser when you had a freeze, you had freezes in the past too, but this time after 3-5 minutes was still frozen.
You pulled off battery and reinserted, tried to power on device and no life signs.
You checked if battery works with tongue on contacts, USB port and power button are OK.
You can't go to the Samsung Service Centre due to custom ROM and you'll have to pay for repair. If motherboard is dead, they can't see what ROM is inside eMMC.
Maybe the battery cell is damaged and voltage is under minimum needed, try another i9070/p or compatible device's battery, otherwise you can watch this video guide till minute 2:55 to remove middle frame, then use any mobile phone's battery (suggested Samsungs for same contacts layout) following contacts + and - (usually are wrote on battery sticker or directly on black plastic)

Motherboard should be analyzed to find what caused that... Doesn't power on at all, try to send to Samsung service centre, under warranty!! You still have warranty? Custom ROM or binary counter don't matter since motherboard is apparently dead and they can't see

Glad to hear that. So,i hope they cant see that i have custom rom as you said.I bring it to service ASAP and i let you know what happen. Thanks for your answers
EDIT: on warranty card say :
"The warranty is not applicable in cases other than defects in material design and workmanship. The warranty does not cover the following:
-periodic checks,maintenance,repair and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear;
-abuse or misuse, including but not solely limited to the failure to use this product its normal purposes or in accordance with Samsung`s instructions for usage and maintenance
-upgrading of software due to changes in network parameters"
etc.
I think i will pay for repair...

Don't worry!! Yours is broken but you'll tell them that you aren't interested to repair touch screen just talk about no power on (it's covered by warranty)
If they ask you if device was modified, answer what it is? let's do the noob boy

[Q] Is this a "bricked" Note?

Hey every1!
I was hoping that my first post here would be something more funny then this... But... you can´t always get what you wan´t.
My problem... My note is completly dead!
I was messing around with editing some pictures i just took on the kids when my phone just frooze... I then held the powerbutton for about 15sec before it died. After that... stonedead!
No matter what i do with it, it´s just black and doesn´t respond to anything.
- Had 20+% battery in it when it frooze, i´ve tried to charge it but no difference.
- Had the battery pulled for 30mins+ , no change.
- Can´t get to recovery mode whatever i do.
- Connected it do the computer, no sound no nuttin.
The phone is/was rooted, running rocketrom V.20 with abyssnote kernel 3.3 when it died.
Haven´t had any issues with it until now.
So... Any ideas on what i should try next? Besides using it as a really expensive paperweight that is
HELP!! =)

Well... Been charging the brick overnight (12+ hours), and still not a single sign of life.
I guess there's nuttin more to it then to return it.
Hopefully they won't notice the root and custom rom and kernel, i meen... It's completly dead so it shouldn't be a problem right?!
If you find, try other battery once.
- Use JIG
Switch off your phone and take out the battery for 15-20 seconds
Install the battery back but DO NOT turn it on
Plug this USB JIG DONGLE into the micro-USB port of the phone
Wait for a few seconds. You should see the Download Mode logo on the screen.
Unplug the module.

Hey!
Yes, great news actually!
I got it back like 5 days ago...
And, it was the main circuit board that had faulted! That ment they couldn´t get the info of it ,or atleast they decided that it would be to much trouble to do so.
So it´s now back and running again... rooted, running RR v22 and franco kernel v6
Didn´t cost me anything
Hopefully it won´t happen again thoo... I can´t be without it anymore! Used my old 3gs when it was on service... goddam hated it!

I too am in the same situation right now where my phone is hard bricked and can't turn on in any shape or form. I sen't it to a local shop to fix who do Jtag for this phone but say they can't get it to start. I wanted to know when you said "the main circuit board that had faulted" did they replace any parts? or just flash software with JTag again? Any help would be really appreciated.

If u want to test that it is really not a hardware problem,
try flashing another rom to see if the problem persists or not..
If it persists then its the problem of ur touchscreen so take it to sony service center. They will get it repaired...
flash another rom to make sure, but if it is shown when you are running different apps and even in cwm i guess its hardware problem...

some times there is a screen cut if you are in high frequency.
anyway if its your screens problem there are some cheap in ebay..
If It is a Hardware Problem... Than Just Replace the Touch pad it Should Cost you Around 20$ to 25$(2nd Quality)
I had the Same Problem & Replaced the Touch Pad Now it Works Good For Me..!!
Yeah but i can't buy on Ebay and where i live is much more expensive...its will be the half of the price of a new phone.
But thanks anyway!

yeah...
maybe you can flash with another ROM
always flash the kernel and the other..after that try to wipe data
hope it can help to solve your problem
Have you consulted a service center? And maybe find out if it's a hardware issue (it probably is ) and maybe get an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it?
Worst case scenario: buy a new phone but don't throw away your x8 so you can stay active here. That's what i'd do.
Sent from my X8 using xda premium
Do you have the warranty still active? maybe you can fix it for free.
No,i have the phone around 1 year and 5 months,no more warranty.I tryed to change kernel+ROM and nothing.By now i will assume thats a hardware problrm and 'll try to dissasembly and see what i can do... hope its simple!
Well I really hope you will repair it successfully...hope for the best and good luck

Sony Ericsson X8 BootLoop and Not Charging

Good day everyone
As of a month ago, my phone began to restart randomly, but this was about once a week. After some time, the phone just went into a boot loop.
The phone works if charging, but when removed from the charger, the phone simply turns off immediately and goes into a bootloop and the battery charge goes to about 2%. I have tried repairing with Sony Ericsson PC Companion, but no luck!
Has anyone encountered the same problem or knows how to assist me ? This would be greatly appreciated ! Thank You

Had the phone probably over a year now. The battery would have the same age, i never changed it. Would it be a battery problem if the phone is trying to restart all the time ? Wouldn't it just turn off ?
I had it rooted and cyanogenmod was installed on it, could it be a software problem ?

Time to change your Battery and if the Problem still exist even after installing a new Battery it's the Problem of the firmware!
Try PCC with a nice guide. just Google it!
Buying a new Battery would not hurt you, because a year old battery is just need replacement because it will make some problem

[Q] battery died?

hi guys, I have some problems with my phone/battery i'm using rimmer's aosp atm but it is surely not rom related btw (I've already done some troubleshooting myself!)
well the phone (xperia T) started suddenly to shut down itself randomly. i did many tests (i was afraid about the phone sdcards at the beginning), then i noticed that if i keep the wall charger connected the phone never shuts down, so i think i have a died battery? do you agree?
only solution take it to the service centre?
thanks in advance!!
May I ask, how old is your phone?
less than 1 year old: i bought it exactly 9 months ago ;(

hmmm possible, but I'd expect 2 years shelf life. Well who knows how long it was laying on the shelf.
There were some defect battery reports with reboot symptoms.
Thanks. Yes I remember someone reported that, but here it doesn't reboot, it suddenly shut down. then I reboot, and it shut down almost immediately after the launcher start up. If I reboot with charger plugged in, it stays on...
It seems to happen especially when battery is around 50%, and not happening when battery is fully charged..?!
Well will try soon if that will happen with stock based too, if so I will restore the backup TA, flash a stock FTF and then go to service.. ;(
Thanks again bye!
I have similar problems , does/did your phone shut down if you open the recovery ? , did you fix it ?
phone did shutdown suddenly when it was on, with any rom i tried. but strangely, in recovery it didn't shutdown if i remember right, in fact i could try different roms and don't remember it shutting down while in recovery.
brought it to the service, they replaced the battery, and problem was definitively fixed this way

I resolved changing the battery. Going to stock doesn't unlock the situation.

So we can pretty much conclude that it is the battery
You can also feel it that your battery is getting hotter then normal or if you take it out it you can spin it like spintop
