I'm somewhat new to Android and their phones but today i was having some issues, i had a stock rom that i reinstalled back on my phone, when i put my phone into recovery at the top it says tampered and unlock which is fine....the problem i'm having is when i drag a custom rom into my internal SD and boot into recovery, i dont see the rom that i dragged into the sd...is there a way someone could help me fix this issue please....if not, can someone point me in the direction of someone that could or how to unroot my phone and i will root it again.. by the way im on a MAC If that bit of information helps...i would really appreciate it if someone would get back to me
1) Don't write with big size.
2) Probably, your rom is in:
Code:
/data/media/
or
Code:
/sdcard/0
.
If you've android 4.2.2 installated.
3) You can sideload a rom

Flashed the Danger Spl today and during the reboot for it my son decided it would be funny to remove my battery and hide it (yes hes still alive ^^). Now, my phone will boot into recovery but my cyanogen rom file is corrupted according to my phone and won't install. My question is is there anyway to download a new rom file through the use of console or am i pretty much screwed for now? Yes i know i'm on a pc posting this but i can't download files on my work pc and my personal pc isn't working currently. I have the Gapps file on sdcard but was wondering if there was anyway to download the new cyanogen rom from console? Any help is appreciated.
you could theoretically do it through the console using the wget command if your data connection happens to be miraculously working. otherwise, I would say no. my recommendation, find a buddy who can download it for you, toss it on your sd card and go from there.
Ya kinda what i figured was just hoping that someone else knew something i could do in console that i didn't. Thanks for the help though ^^
Hi, i have just bought htc one silver (32gb verson) Before that, i owned galaxy s, galaxy s2 and note2 so i am new to flashing htc roms.
1.) Where can i find the nordic(nee) roms if i were to flash custom rom`s and would like to get back to stock?
2) if i were to unlock device, so that i can get root and recovery. Is there any way to remove the this device has been tamperd with, and relocked "warnings" in case i need to reset for warranty?
I am totally green with htc and flashing, so plese go easy on me

1) Good
2) With S-OFF, you have the totally control of your phone.
For example, now, you're S-On (you can read it in bootloader), but you can't change or edit some file in some directory of soc, like the directory where are allocated the code for "tampered line etc".
P.s. For thanking there is a button

aaah, well then I understand a bit more Just one more question. every custom rom sais i have to put the .zip file on sd card, but there is not a sd card for this phone. i have seen some solutions with mini usb to usb with memory stick in it. if i do not have this, can i install rom any other way in twrp or cwm?
You have been thanked btw
"Put rom into your SD".
With our one, we have an Virtual SD into the phone.
In android, you can put the rom into it, and you can flash the rom
P.s. Don't make any wipe with recovery, you can delete your rom.
Do a full wipe in aroma when it ask you for choose.
You can also flash a rom without it on the phone, but with an OTG cable
And, for me, TWRP is better then CWM

hi again, sorry for so many questions but this one is driving me craizy!
i unlocked my phone via www.htcdev.com and tried the twrp recovery, got root and everything was dandy. But as it turns out i have gotten a phone that has the buildquality problem with cracks, and spacing in the chassie. so i would like to send it back and get a new one. So i try to unroot the device but no luck.
I have tried the supersu app---> options---> full unroot. I have to restart, but then root and the root icon is back. how can i fix this, so that the device is unrooted? Have also tried factory reset after that.

I had a similar thing happen to me. When you're told to select the zip to flash, at the top of the list there should be a "0". select that and then try finding your new zip to flash in there. I'm honestly not sure why this is; hopefully someone more knowledgeable can pop in and say what happened and why the directory is like that.
Anyway, hope that helps!
Thanks !

it worked! thanks so much!
Hello I have the same problem only I am using TWRP recovery.
And I have no "0" directory.
went in, wiped EVERYTHING...re-flashed current ROM (just a stock rooted ATT deodex) and its the same thing...the current ROM I'm running shows in TWRP..
But any ROM I've transferred via PC into internal memory, or downloaded straight from the device, is completely non existent...
the "ROMs" folder I created on my PC to the external memory (where I store the ROMs for easy access) is not there either.
So my phone is in a bad state right now and i want to just return to stock unrooted I can only go between the bootloader and CWM recovery screens. the is no data on my sd card and now i cant even mount it to put any files on it. Right now i dont have root access. I originally wanted to go to Android RevolutionHD because i was having mobile network issues with the latest Cyanogenmod. After going through the AROMA installer for that it rebooted and stayed in between recovery and the bootloader and has been getting worse ever since. i am looking for a way to get back to stock( i dont care if its 4.1.2 or 4.3) with fastboot since i cant access my sd card (can't mount error).

I'm a old Samsung guy so I am in a learning curve myself. That being said, I had a similar situation and here is what I did....I made sure I had updated drivers on my laptop and then used Hasoon2000's all in one tool kit and side loaded a Rom on my phone so I could then get into recovery and flash the Rom and proceed from there. I am sure there is a different way but that's what worked for me.
I think so

Ill see if i can try that option. It seems like it could work if my phone decides it wants to access the sd card. then i can go back to root an later unroot once an RUU comes out.

2 options that I see...
1. get rid of CWM & flash TWRP!!! wipe your internal partiton, then try to sideload ROM or push via ADB
2. get s-off, flash the latest RUU available (1.29), then update from there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2496687

If everything is wiped, can you s-off though? Meaning, no operating system, no data, but before wiped it was on 4.3 with 1.55 hboot?

option 1 seems like it would work. I just need to resolve this device not found and cant mount sd issue.
So the stock 4.3 rom was not able to open for some reason. I then decided to try to re root and push it all on which worked but now im stuck in a bootloop. Ive wiped and all that but any suggestions at this point? should i try it with a different rom? (using paranoid Android now)
EDIT: So it seems that it is looping with other roms as well. i feel i maybe should have flashed the the stock rom prior but not sure if it was necessary. i feel like im missing one step before it will work fully again
Hi all its been awhile since i have been here on XDA
Anyhow i bought a HTC mini 2 and it has the cynogengenMod 11-20141112-snapshot-m12-memul.
Before i start the issue is actually this lock screen called TWRP that and its a lock screen that comes up randomly then crashes the phone. it has happened a few times like browsing my phone or taking a picture. Its the one with a padlock.
So what i would like someone to help me to get it back to the original rom. I am using a European handset i am assuming due to buying it here from some ebayer.
What i understand is to get the actual stock rom and to use some sort of programme to put it on with. I have read quite a lot of pages and it talks about radio rom and recovery stuff so im a bit clueless where to start really.
Some help step by step would be nice and links if possible to where i can get the required files.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/general/stock-rom-please-t3243417
Are this link any good to get the ball rolling but i would not have a clue what to do with the files even if they was the right ones.
EDIT: I have gone to the recovery mode for teamwin by holding volume down + power is their something i can do from their maybe???
The Baseband is 1.101.110219.1017_10.26.41.4149.00L (if it matters)
Kernal Version 3.4.0-gg001341f (if it matters)

Stock ROMs : http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...one-mini-2-t3250020/post63859743#post63859743
Hi,
You did not mention your SW version, the stock ROM is for this version 2.18.401.3.
Now in your bootloader if you have the OS 2.19.401.2 you will not be able to flash the stock Rom in the link as the stock is for a lower version unless you have S-Off, so you can use TWRP and restore backup image through TWRP..
Steps:
- Download the backup image, extract the contents of the RAR file, place in Root of SD card
- Enter TWRP recovery
- Erase Cache, Data, System, Internal Storage
- Choose Restore and select the backup folder
- it will take about a minute or 2
Thanks about it...
